Mnogi bi voljeli živjeti vječno, no pokušajmo biti realniji i zapitati se bismo li mogli barem živjeti nešto dulje? Neki stručnjaci tvrde da pijenje čaja može smanjiti rizik za razvoj srčanih i krvožilnih bolesti i povećati očekivani životni vijek

Istraživanje objavljeno u časopisu European Journal of Preventive Cardiology je otkrilo da jedan obični kućni napitak može biti ključ za duži život, prenosi živim.

Moždani udar i srčane bolesti su među najčešćim uzrocima smrti u zapadnim zemljama, a čaj koji je mnogima omiljeno piće mogao bi pomoći da se izbjegnu te bolesti i živi duže i kvalitetnije. No, nije dovoljno samo piti čaj, već treba odabrati odgovarajuću vrstu čaja.

Koje piće smanjuje rizik za moždani udar i srčane bolesti?

Spomenuto istraživanje je obuhvatilo više od 100.000 ljudi koji su u obiteljskoj anamnezi imali rak, srčani ili moždani udar i koji su bili podijeljeni u dvije skupine - one koji su pili čaj tri ili više puta tjedno i one koji ga nisu uopće pili.

Tijekom sedam godina praćenja pokazalo se da su oni koji su redovito pili čaj imali 20 posto manji rizik za obolijevanje od srčanih bolesti i za moždani udar, kao i za smrt uslijed tih bolesti.

Otkriveno je i da oni koji su redovito pili čaj imaju 15 posto manji rizik za smrt od bilo koje bolesti.

Analiza podataka je pokazala da pedesetogodišnjaci koji redovito piju čaj obolijevaju od srčanih bolesti i moždanog udara 1,41 godinu kasnije od onih koji ne piju čaj redovito.

Zaštitni učinak čaja pokazao se najveći kod onih koji su ga redovito pili. Naime, studije mehanizama kojima čaj djeluje na organizam su pokazale da glavne bioaktivne tvari iz čaja, polifenoli, ne ostaju dugo pohranjene u tijelu. Stoga bi za zaštitu srca trebalo čaj piti često kroz duži vremenski period.

Zašto čaj sprečava razvoj srčanih i krvožilnih bolesti?

U ovom istraživanju samo je 8 posto ispitanika pilo crni čaj, dok ih je 49 posto pilo zeleni čaj. Pozitivni učinci na zdravlje su najizraženiji kod onih koji su pili zeleni čaj i to redovito i kroz dugi vremenski period.

Razlog je činjenica da zeleni čaj obiluje polifenolima a oni pružaju važnu zaštitu od srčanih i krvožilnih bolesti. Dobrobiti zelenog čaja su veće u odnosu na crni čaj koji je obično fermentiran, a uslijed tog procesa polifenoli oksidiraju i gube svoja antioksidansa svojstva.

Dodatna analiza je pokazala da su oni koji su pili zeleni čaj imali 25 posto manji rizik za razvoj fatalnih bolesti srca i moždani udar, kao i za smrt uslijed drugih bolesti.

Mnogi bi voljeli živjeti vječno, no pokušajmo biti realniji i zapitati se bismo li mogli barem živjeti nešto dulje? Neki stručnjaci tvrde da pijenje čaja može smanjiti rizik za razvoj srčanih i krvožilnih bolesti i povećati očekivani životni vijek

Istraživanje objavljeno u časopisu European Journal of Preventive Cardiology je otkrilo da jedan obični kućni napitak može biti ključ za duži život, prenosi živim.

Moždani udar i srčane bolesti su među najčešćim uzrocima smrti u zapadnim zemljama, a čaj koji je mnogima omiljeno piće mogao bi pomoći da se izbjegnu te bolesti i živi duže i kvalitetnije. No, nije dovoljno samo piti čaj, već treba odabrati odgovarajuću vrstu čaja.

Koje piće smanjuje rizik za moždani udar i srčane bolesti?

Spomenuto istraživanje je obuhvatilo više od 100.000 ljudi koji su u obiteljskoj anamnezi imali rak, srčani ili moždani udar i koji su bili podijeljeni u dvije skupine - one koji su pili čaj tri ili više puta tjedno i one koji ga nisu uopće pili.

Tijekom sedam godina praćenja pokazalo se da su oni koji su redovito pili čaj imali 20 posto manji rizik za obolijevanje od srčanih bolesti i za moždani udar, kao i za smrt uslijed tih bolesti.

Otkriveno je i da oni koji su redovito pili čaj imaju 15 posto manji rizik za smrt od bilo koje bolesti.

Analiza podataka je pokazala da pedesetogodišnjaci koji redovito piju čaj obolijevaju od srčanih bolesti i moždanog udara 1,41 godinu kasnije od onih koji ne piju čaj redovito.

Zaštitni učinak čaja pokazao se najveći kod onih koji su ga redovito pili. Naime, studije mehanizama kojima čaj djeluje na organizam su pokazale da glavne bioaktivne tvari iz čaja, polifenoli, ne ostaju dugo pohranjene u tijelu. Stoga bi za zaštitu srca trebalo čaj piti često kroz duži vremenski period.

Zašto čaj sprečava razvoj srčanih i krvožilnih bolesti?

U ovom istraživanju samo je 8 posto ispitanika pilo crni čaj, dok ih je 49 posto pilo zeleni čaj. Pozitivni učinci na zdravlje su najizraženiji kod onih koji su pili zeleni čaj i to redovito i kroz dugi vremenski period.

Razlog je činjenica da zeleni čaj obiluje polifenolima a oni pružaju važnu zaštitu od srčanih i krvožilnih bolesti. Dobrobiti zelenog čaja su veće u odnosu na crni čaj koji je obično fermentiran, a uslijed tog procesa polifenoli oksidiraju i gube svoja antioksidansa svojstva.

Dodatna analiza je pokazala da su oni koji su pili zeleni čaj imali 25 posto manji rizik za razvoj fatalnih bolesti srca i moždani udar, kao i za smrt uslijed drugih bolesti.
