Slatko kiselkasti džem s notom amaretta sjajno se slaže uz klasičan doručak kao što su kruh i maslac, ali i u slasticama.
Kada smo prošle godine "skuhali" ovaj džem od šljiva i podijelili teglice prijateljima, reakcije koje smo dobili bile su više nego pozitivne, a zaprimili smo čak i nekoliko rezervacija za ovu godinu. Da je u pitanju stvarno najbolji džem koji smo do sada napravili dokaz je i teglica u našem hladnjaku koja se ispraznila rekordnom brzinom, a samo još jedan dodatan plus zašto nam je ovaj voćni namaz toliko drag je i jednostavnost pripreme. Džem se, naime, priprema u pećnici pa ga nije potrebno neprestano miješati, piše Dobra hrana.
Jednostavno pripremite sve sastojke, ubacite ih u pećnicu i pecite dok ne poprime boju i pretvore se u kašu nalik džemu, ali još uvijek budu vidljivi komadići. Kod ovakve pripreme, džem je dobro povremeno provjeriti i promiješati no to ćete ponavljati daleko manje nego kod klasičnog kuhanja u loncu. S obzirom na to da volimo kiselije džemove, dodali smo mu i sok limuna, ali i amaretto koji se sjajno slaže uz duboke, slatkaste arome pečenih šljiva. Ekstrakt vanilije također je dobra ideja, a ako vam je pri ruci, u kombinaciju možete ubaciti i malo ribane tonke.
Na kraju džem podijelite u sterilizirane staklenke, a jednu svakako ostavite za degustiranje odmah nakon pečenja. Najbolji je poslužen na kruhu s malo maslaca, no bit će i odličan dodatak grčkom jogurtu za lagani doručak, zobenim pahuljicama ili kakvom desertu.
Dobro je dodati i kako količine navedene u receptu biti dovoljne za pripremu dvije manje ili jedne veće teglice džema pa, ako ga ove godine radite za cijelu ekipu ili više članova obitelji, količine sastojaka svakako povećajte.
Trebat će vam:
- 1 kilogram šljiva
- 250 grama šećera
- 80 mililitara amaretta
- sok jednog limuna
- 1 žlica ekstrakta vanilije
Priprema:
Šljive očistite i prepolovite ili narežite na još manje komadiće. Ubacite ih u posudu za pečenje, dodajte limunov sok, 40 ml amaretta i vaniliju, pomiješajte, a zatim po šljivama pospite šećer. Stavite u pećnicu na 1,5 do 2 sata. Šljive nakon sat vremena povremeno možete promiješati. Pecite ih sve dok ne poprime tamniju boju. Kada izvadite šljive iz pećnice, dobro promiješajte i dodajte preostalih 40 ml amaretta.

Slatko kiselkasti džem s notom amaretta sjajno se slaže uz klasičan doručak kao što su kruh i maslac, ali i u slasticama.
Kada smo prošle godine "skuhali" ovaj džem od šljiva i podijelili teglice prijateljima, reakcije koje smo dobili bile su više nego pozitivne, a zaprimili smo čak i nekoliko rezervacija za ovu godinu. Da je u pitanju stvarno najbolji džem koji smo do sada napravili dokaz je i teglica u našem hladnjaku koja se ispraznila rekordnom brzinom, a samo još jedan dodatan plus zašto nam je ovaj voćni namaz toliko drag je i jednostavnost pripreme. Džem se, naime, priprema u pećnici pa ga nije potrebno neprestano miješati, piše Dobra hrana.
Jednostavno pripremite sve sastojke, ubacite ih u pećnicu i pecite dok ne poprime boju i pretvore se u kašu nalik džemu, ali još uvijek budu vidljivi komadići. Kod ovakve pripreme, džem je dobro povremeno provjeriti i promiješati no to ćete ponavljati daleko manje nego kod klasičnog kuhanja u loncu. S obzirom na to da volimo kiselije džemove, dodali smo mu i sok limuna, ali i amaretto koji se sjajno slaže uz duboke, slatkaste arome pečenih šljiva. Ekstrakt vanilije također je dobra ideja, a ako vam je pri ruci, u kombinaciju možete ubaciti i malo ribane tonke.
Na kraju džem podijelite u sterilizirane staklenke, a jednu svakako ostavite za degustiranje odmah nakon pečenja. Najbolji je poslužen na kruhu s malo maslaca, no bit će i odličan dodatak grčkom jogurtu za lagani doručak, zobenim pahuljicama ili kakvom desertu.
Dobro je dodati i kako količine navedene u receptu biti dovoljne za pripremu dvije manje ili jedne veće teglice džema pa, ako ga ove godine radite za cijelu ekipu ili više članova obitelji, količine sastojaka svakako povećajte.
Trebat će vam:
- 1 kilogram šljiva
- 250 grama šećera
- 80 mililitara amaretta
- sok jednog limuna
- 1 žlica ekstrakta vanilije
Priprema:
Šljive očistite i prepolovite ili narežite na još manje komadiće. Ubacite ih u posudu za pečenje, dodajte limunov sok, 40 ml amaretta i vaniliju, pomiješajte, a zatim po šljivama pospite šećer. Stavite u pećnicu na 1,5 do 2 sata. Šljive nakon sat vremena povremeno možete promiješati. Pecite ih sve dok ne poprime tamniju boju.
