I nakon menopauze postoji život, a s njim i ljubav i nesputani seks, poručuje nam romantična komedija 'Klub zadovoljnih žena', koja se poput Davida na američkom box officeu suprotstavila Golijatima ' Deadpoolu' i 'Avengersima'.

Naravno da nije uspjela detronizirati divove, ali je zato pronašla nišu kakvih kronično nedostaje suvremenom Hollywoodu. Film za zrelu žensku populaciju, kroz duhovit prikaz života dobrodržećih i dobro situiranih Amerikanki u zlatnim godinama. Popis glumačkih veteranki koje tumače četiri prijateljice, članice internog književnog kluba,uistinu je impresivan.

Jane Fonda, 'izumiteljica' aerobica, glumi promiskuitetnu vlasnicu hotela Vivian , vrsna komičarka Diane Keaton svježu udovicu Diane, Candice Bergen( nezaboravna novinarka Murphy Brown) razvedenu federalnu sutkinju Sharon, a Mary Steenburgen kuharicu Carol, ženu u rutiniranom braku bez strasti.

Kvartet se na redovitoj mjesečnoj seansi dohvati razvikane erotske trologije 'Pedeset nijansi sive' koja im otvori nove poglede na spolnost. U međuvremenu se junakinje, svaka na svoj način, bore sa starenjem i predrasudama koje taj proces prate. Smije li se žena zaljubiti na pragu sedamdesetih, treba li se povući u zapećak i čekati smrt ili opustiti kočnice pa tražiti partnera putem luckastih društvenih mreža i u plesnim školama?

Sve te ozbiljne životne teme kroz nenametljiv humor obrađuje debut redatelja Billa Holdermana koji nije imao težak zadatak, jer su glavne glumice ponijele sav teret. Posebice Diane Keaton, čija su filmska romansa s pilotom i borba s kćerkama kojima nastoji dokazati da još nije za otpad forte filma.

Dodatan začin ovom 'estrogenskom' hitu su sporedne muške uloge dodijeljene zvijezdama 1980-tih. Pilot je Andy Garcia, stara Vivianina ljubav Don Johnson ( otac Dakote, zvijezde „50 nijansi sive“!), a Sharonin udvarač Richard Dreyfuss.

Da se razumijemo, 'Klub zadovoljnih žena' (na engleskom Book club) nije neko remek-djelo, niti pretendira to postati. To je običan mali film za ciljanu skupinu, što potvrđuju i statistike.

Čak 80 posto publike na premijeri činile su žene, a 88 posto ih je bilo starije od 35 godina. Slično je i u hrvatskim kinima, makar kod nas sredovječne žene i umirovljenice više o knjiškog seksa zaokuplja golo – preživljavanje.

Naravno da nije uspjela detronizirati divove, ali je zato pronašla nišu kakvih kronično nedostaje suvremenom Hollywoodu. Film za zrelu žensku populaciju, kroz duhovit prikaz života dobrodržećih i dobro situiranih Amerikanki u zlatnim godinama. Popis glumačkih veteranki koje tumače četiri prijateljice, članice internog književnog kluba,uistinu je impresivan.

Jane Fonda, 'izumiteljica' aerobica, glumi promiskuitetnu vlasnicu hotela Vivian , vrsna komičarka Diane Keaton svježu udovicu Diane, Candice Bergen( nezaboravna novinarka Murphy Brown) razvedenu federalnu sutkinju Sharon, a Mary Steenburgen kuharicu Carol, ženu u rutiniranom braku bez strasti.

Kvartet se na redovitoj mjesečnoj seansi dohvati razvikane erotske trologije 'Pedeset nijansi sive' koja im otvori nove poglede na spolnost. U međuvremenu se junakinje, svaka na svoj način, bore sa starenjem i predrasudama koje taj proces prate. Smije li se žena zaljubiti na pragu sedamdesetih, treba li se povući u zapećak i čekati smrt ili opustiti kočnice pa tražiti partnera putem luckastih društvenih mreža i u plesnim školama?

Sve te ozbiljne životne teme kroz nenametljiv humor obrađuje debut redatelja Billa Holdermana koji nije imao težak zadatak, jer su glavne glumice ponijele sav teret. Posebice Diane Keaton, čija su filmska romansa s pilotom i borba s kćerkama kojima nastoji dokazati da još nije za otpad forte filma.

Dodatan začin ovom 'estrogenskom' hitu su sporedne muške uloge dodijeljene zvijezdama 1980-tih. Pilot je Andy Garcia, stara Vivianina ljubav Don Johnson ( otac Dakote, zvijezde „50 nijansi sive“!), a Sharonin udvarač Richard Dreyfuss.

Da se razumijemo, 'Klub zadovoljnih žena' (na engleskom Book club) nije neko remek-djelo, niti pretendira to postati. To je običan mali film za ciljanu skupinu, što potvrđuju i statistike.

Čak 80 posto publike na premijeri činile su žene, a 88 posto ih je bilo starije od 35 godina. Slično je i u hrvatskim kinima, makar kod nas sredovječne žene i umirovljenice više o knjiškog seksa zaokuplja golo – preživljavanje.
