Novi način korištenja DNK za ubijanje stanica raka pobudio je nadu u pronalazak lijeka za tu bolest. Metoda je djelovala protiv stanica raka vrata maternice i dojke kod ljudi, kao i stanica malignog melanoma kod miševa. Uključivalo je ubrizgavanje umjetnog DNK u obliku kopče za kosu u stanice raka kako bi se izazvala imunološka reakcija, prenosi Slobodna Dalmacija.

Ta metoda ne samo da je ubila stanice raka, već je i spriječila i stvaranje novih. Istraživači koji su radili na otkrivanju ove metode već se vesele novim mogućnostima liječenja maligne bolesti. Njihov umjetni DNK prevladao je probleme s lijekovima koji mogu razlikovati zdrave od kancerogenih stanica u tijelu, a na koje se inače nailazi prilikom liječenja, javlja The Sun. 

- Mislili smo da ako možemo stvoriti nove lijekove koji djeluju drugačijim mehanizmom od konvencionalnih lijekova, oni bi mogli biti učinkoviti protiv karcinoma koji su do sada bili neizlječivi. Ovi rezultati su dobra vijest za liječnike, znanstvenike koji otkrivaju lijekove i tretiraju pacijente jer vjerujemo da će im dati nove mogućnosti, kazao je znanstvenik profesor Akimitsu Okamoto sa Sveučilišta u Tokiju.

Novi način korištenja DNK za ubijanje stanica raka pobudio je nadu u pronalazak lijeka za tu bolest. Metoda je djelovala protiv stanica raka vrata maternice i dojke kod ljudi, kao i stanica malignog melanoma kod miševa. Uključivalo je ubrizgavanje umjetnog DNK u obliku kopče za kosu u stanice raka kako bi se izazvala imunološka reakcija, prenosi Slobodna Dalmacija.

Ta metoda ne samo da je ubila stanice raka, već je i spriječila i stvaranje novih. Istraživači koji su radili na otkrivanju ove metode već se vesele novim mogućnostima liječenja maligne bolesti. Njihov umjetni DNK prevladao je probleme s lijekovima koji mogu razlikovati zdrave od kancerogenih stanica u tijelu, a na koje se inače nailazi prilikom liječenja, javlja The Sun. 

- Mislili smo da ako možemo stvoriti nove lijekove koji djeluju drugačijim mehanizmom od konvencionalnih lijekova, oni bi mogli biti učinkoviti protiv karcinoma koji su do sada bili neizlječivi. Ovi rezultati su dobra vijest za liječnike, znanstvenike koji otkrivaju lijekove i tretiraju pacijente jer vjerujemo da će im dati nove mogućnosti, kazao je znanstvenik profesor Akimitsu Okamoto sa Sveučilišta u Tokiju.

Novi način korištenja DNK za ubijanje stanica raka pobudio je nadu u pronalazak lijeka za tu bolest. Metoda je djelovala protiv stanica raka vrata maternice i dojke kod ljudi, kao i stanica malignog melanoma kod miševa. Uključivalo je ubrizgavanje umjetnog DNK u obliku kopče za kosu u stanice raka kako bi se izazvala imunološka reakcija, prenosi Slobodna Dalmacija.

Ta metoda ne samo da je ubila stanice raka, već je i spriječila i stvaranje novih. Istraživači koji su radili na otkrivanju ove metode već se vesele novim mogućnostima liječenja maligne bolesti. Njihov umjetni DNK prevladao je probleme s lijekovima koji mogu razlikovati zdrave od kancerogenih stanica u tijelu, a na koje se inače nailazi prilikom liječenja, javlja The Sun. 

- Mislili smo da ako možemo stvoriti nove lijekove koji djeluju drugačijim mehanizmom od konvencionalnih lijekova, oni bi mogli biti učinkoviti protiv karcinoma koji su do sada bili neizlječivi. Ovi rezultati su dobra vijest za liječnike, znanstvenike koji otkrivaju lijekove i tretiraju pacijente jer vjerujemo da će im dati nove mogućnosti, kazao je znanstvenik profesor Akimitsu Okamoto sa Sveučilišta u Tokiju.
