Tim Leishman i njegova supruga iz Brisbanea u Australiji došli su doslovno s drugog kraja svijeta na odmor u Lijepu našu s kojom su se oduševili.
Taman kad su pomislili kako će za našu domovinu imati samo riječi hvale, dogodi im se situacija koja im je, kako kažu, bila jedino negativno iskustvo na putovanju.

Poželjeli su, naime, iz centra Splita, točnije od sv. Frane otići do Mall of Splita pa su - sjeli u taksi. I gorko požalii. Vožnja duga nekih 4,5 kilometra, ako je vjerovati Google Mapsu, koštala ih je, pazite sad - 65 eura! Da, dobro ste pročitali. Toliko su, kaže Tim, iskeširali pohlepnom taksistu.
Svoje iskustvo podijelio je na Facebook grupi Split Croatia Travel 2023/2024 kako bi upozorio ostale "naivce" da im se ne dogodi ovakva slična pljačka.

- Upravo smo napustili prekrasnu Hrvatsku! Svidijelo nam se ovdje, ali ipak jedan savjet - rezervirajte Uber, nemojte se oslanjati na taksije, pogotovo ako naplaćuju po kilometru.
Naplaćeno nam je u Splitu 65 eura za putovanje koje smo preko Ubera dan prije platili 6,50 eura. Nadamo se da će ovo nekome drugome uštedjeti nešto novca za trošenje na nešto drugo. Uživajte u svojim putovanjima! - stoji u njegovoj objavi.
S Timom smo nakon objave ovog statusa uspjeli stupiti u kontakt pa smo doznali još neke detalje zbog kojih kao stanovnici ovog grada osjećamo - susramlje.
- Vožnja je trajala nekih 15-20 minuta. Nažalost, platili smo gotovinom, nismo tražili račun. Vožnja Uberom kući bila je puno brža, imao sam osjećaj da nas je vozač taksija namjerno vozio dužim putem, iako u to ne mogu biti siguran jer se ne snalazim u vašem gradu.
Znali smo da smo prevareni čim je tražio 65 eura, s obzirom da smo turisti. Nismo htjeli izazivati scenu pa smo platili.

Daleko od toga da smo bogati, no taj iznos za nas nije bio kraj svijeta, samo je šteta što postoje ljudi koji će tako lako iskoristiti druge. Dogodilo se baš kad smo napuštali hotel s prtljagom da smo opet naletjeli na njega na istom mjestu. Očito nas nije prepoznao pa nam je opet ponudio vožnju.

Rekao sam mu da bi se trebao sramiti, na što su se on i nekolicina vozača koji su bili s njim počeli smijati, to me stvarno pogdilo. Odlučio sam popiti kavu u obližnjem kafiću i uspio spasiti stariji par od ulaska u njegov taksi. Dotrčao sam do njih i rekao im da će im puno naplatiti i da uzmu Uber.
Kad je grupa vozača shvatila da ih gledam, činilo se da prestaju varati druge i stalno su gledali da vide jesam li još uvijek tamo. Velikodušno smo davali napojnice dok smo bili u vašoj zemlji i učinili bismo to u ovoj situaciji da se prema nama odnosio humano - podvukao je Tim.

Tim Leishman i njegova supruga iz Brisbanea u Australiji došli su doslovno s drugog kraja svijeta na odmor u Lijepu našu s kojom su se oduševili.
Taman kad su pomislili kako će za našu domovinu imati samo riječi hvale, dogodi im se situacija koja im je, kako kažu, bila jedino negativno iskustvo na putovanju.

Poželjeli su, naime, iz centra Splita, točnije od sv. Frane otići do Mall of Splita pa su - sjeli u taksi. I gorko požalii. Vožnja duga nekih 4,5 kilometra, ako je vjerovati Google Mapsu, koštala ih je, pazite sad - 65 eura! Da, dobro ste pročitali. Toliko su, kaže Tim, iskeširali pohlepnom taksistu.
Svoje iskustvo podijelio je na Facebook grupi Split Croatia Travel 2023/2024 kako bi upozorio ostale "naivce" da im se ne dogodi ovakva slična pljačka.

- Upravo smo napustili prekrasnu Hrvatsku! Svidijelo nam se ovdje, ali ipak jedan savjet - rezervirajte Uber, nemojte se oslanjati na taksije, pogotovo ako naplaćuju po kilometru.
Naplaćeno nam je u Splitu 65 eura za putovanje koje smo preko Ubera dan prije platili 6,50 eura. Nadamo se da će ovo nekome drugome uštedjeti nešto novca za trošenje na nešto drugo. Uživajte u svojim putovanjima! - stoji u njegovoj objavi.
S Timom smo nakon objave ovog statusa uspjeli stupiti u kontakt pa smo doznali još neke detalje zbog kojih kao stanovnici ovog grada osjećamo - susramlje.
- Vožnja je trajala nekih 15-20 minuta. Nažalost, platili smo gotovinom, nismo tražili račun. Vožnja Uberom kući bila je puno brža, imao sam osjećaj da nas je vozač taksija namjerno vozio dužim putem, iako u to ne mogu biti siguran jer se ne snalazim u vašem gradu.
Znali smo da smo prevareni čim je tražio 65 eura, s obzirom da smo turisti. Nismo htjeli izazivati scenu pa smo platili.

Daleko od toga da smo bogati, no taj iznos za nas nije bio kraj svijeta, samo je šteta što postoje ljudi koji će tako lako iskoristiti druge. Dogodilo se baš kad smo napuštali hotel s prtljagom da smo opet naletjeli na njega na istom mjestu. Očito nas nije prepoznao pa nam je opet ponudio vožnju.

Rekao sam mu da bi se trebao sramiti, na što su se on i nekolicina vozača koji su bili s njim počeli smijati, to me stvarno pogdilo. Odlučio sam popiti kavu u obližnjem kafiću i uspio spasiti stariji par od ulaska u njegov taksi. Dotrčao sam do njih i rekao im da će im puno naplatiti i da uzmu Uber.
Kad je grupa vozača shvatila da ih gledam, činilo se da prestaju varati druge i stalno su gledali da vide jesam li još uvijek tamo. Velikodušno smo davali napojnice dok smo bili u vašoj zemlji i učinili bismo to u ovoj situaciji da se prema nama odnosio humano - podvukao je Tim.
