Putnici su pod utjecajem inflacije pronašli novi trik kako uštedjeti na avionskim kartama - kupuju karte s presjedanjem, ali potom preskoče drugi let te ostanu u destinaciji gdje su trebali presjedati jer su takve karte obično puno jeftinije od direktnih letova.

Jednostavnije rečeno, bookiraju let od aerodroma A do aerodroma C s presjedanjem na aerodromu B, ali potom ostanu u B destinaciji i naprosto preskoče drugi let, piše jutarnji.hr.

Kako piše Business Insider, nekim aviokompanijama to je već dozlogrdilo pa su putnike koji posežu za ovakvim trikovima počeli kažnjavati - recimo, ako otkriju da se nisu ukrcali na drugi, povezani let, otkažu im povratnu kartu pa se mnogima na kraju ušteda poništi.

No, Business Insider upozorava kako je ova mogućnost putnicima dana zbog činjenice da aviokompanije zapravo ne poštuju bazične principe geometrije, takozvanu nejednakost trokuta koja kaže da trokut postoji ako mu je zbroj duljina dvije kraće stranice veći od duljine najdulje stranice.

Bilo bi za očekivati da ovo pravilo slijede i aviooperateri te da, uzevši u obzir duljinu i trošak goriva, više naplate kartu od New Yorka do Londona preko Amsterdama nego direktnu kartu New York - Amsterdam, ali to očito nije pravilo i može rezultirati nekim apsurdnim situacijama poput one da u avionu istovremeno sjede dvije osobe od kojih je jedna platila manje novaca za dva leta od onog tko izlazi na "prvoj stanici".

Matematičar i znanstvenik Brian Hayes ovu je pojavu pokušao objasniti kroz činjenicu da razlika u cijeni nastaje iz veće potražnje za direktnim letom nego letom s presjedanjem.

Putnici su pod utjecajem inflacije pronašli novi trik kako uštedjeti na avionskim kartama - kupuju karte s presjedanjem, ali potom preskoče drugi let te ostanu u destinaciji gdje su trebali presjedati jer su takve karte obično puno jeftinije od direktnih letova.

Jednostavnije rečeno, bookiraju let od aerodroma A do aerodroma C s presjedanjem na aerodromu B, ali potom ostanu u B destinaciji i naprosto preskoče drugi let, piše jutarnji.hr.

Kako piše Business Insider, nekim aviokompanijama to je već dozlogrdilo pa su putnike koji posežu za ovakvim trikovima počeli kažnjavati - recimo, ako otkriju da se nisu ukrcali na drugi, povezani let, otkažu im povratnu kartu pa se mnogima na kraju ušteda poništi.

No, Business Insider upozorava kako je ova mogućnost putnicima dana zbog činjenice da aviokompanije zapravo ne poštuju bazične principe geometrije, takozvanu nejednakost trokuta koja kaže da trokut postoji ako mu je zbroj duljina dvije kraće stranice veći od duljine najdulje stranice.

Bilo bi za očekivati da ovo pravilo slijede i aviooperateri te da, uzevši u obzir duljinu i trošak goriva, više naplate kartu od New Yorka do Londona preko Amsterdama nego direktnu kartu New York - Amsterdam, ali to očito nije pravilo i može rezultirati nekim apsurdnim situacijama poput one da u avionu istovremeno sjede dvije osobe od kojih je jedna platila manje novaca za dva leta od onog tko izlazi na "prvoj stanici".

Putnici su pod utjecajem inflacije pronašli novi trik kako uštedjeti na avionskim kartama - kupuju karte s presjedanjem, ali potom preskoče drugi let te ostanu u destinaciji gdje su trebali presjedati jer su takve karte obično puno jeftinije od direktnih letova.

Jednostavnije rečeno, bookiraju let od aerodroma A do aerodroma C s presjedanjem na aerodromu B, ali potom ostanu u B destinaciji i naprosto preskoče drugi let, piše jutarnji.hr.

Kako piše Business Insider, nekim aviokompanijama to je već dozlogrdilo pa su putnike koji posežu za ovakvim trikovima počeli kažnjavati - recimo, ako otkriju da se nisu ukrcali na drugi, povezani let, otkažu im povratnu kartu pa se mnogima na kraju ušteda poništi.

No, Business Insider upozorava kako je ova mogućnost putnicima dana zbog činjenice da aviokompanije zapravo ne poštuju bazične principe geometrije, takozvanu nejednakost trokuta koja kaže da trokut postoji ako mu je zbroj duljina dvije kraće stranice veći od duljine najdulje stranice.

Bilo bi za očekivati da ovo pravilo slijede i aviooperateri te da, uzevši u obzir duljinu i trošak goriva, više naplate kartu od New Yorka do Londona preko Amsterdama nego direktnu kartu New York - Amsterdam, ali to očito nije pravilo i može rezultirati nekim apsurdnim situacijama poput one da u avionu istovremeno sjede dvije osobe od kojih je jedna platila manje novaca za dva leta od onog tko izlazi na "prvoj stanici".

Matematičar i znanstvenik Brian Hayes ovu je pojavu pokušao objasniti kroz činjenicu da razlika u cijeni nastaje iz veće potražnje za direktnim letom nego letom s presjedanjem.
