Koliko puta smo od vladajućih čuli kako je Dubrovnik jedan od najbogatijih gradova u Hrvatskoj, kako možemo biti sretni jer imamo nadstandard, kako je Grad Dubrovnik financijski odličan te kako nismo prezaduženi, stoji u priopćenju koje potpisuju vijećnici SDP-a u GV Grada Dubrovnika Anita Bonačić Obradović i Saša Škrabić.

- Unatoč svim tim superlativima suočeni smo s problematikom neadekvatne skrbi za starije i nemoćne u Dubrovniku. Ovdje treba naglasiti moralnu i društvenu odgovornost prema ovoj socijalno osjetljivoj populaciji. Kao društvo i kao grad dugujemo starijim generacijama pružanje pomoći i podrške u njihovim kasnijim godinama. Unatoč ovoj velikoj odgovornosti u Dubrovniku nažalost imamo realnost da ona politička opcija koja bi trebala zastupati interese starijih i nemoćnih nije uspjela ostvariti svoj razlog postojanja. Pa se onda navodi pitanje, tko uistinu politički zastupa njihove interese u gradu Dubrovniku? - pitaju se.

- Novi dom za starije i nemoćne u Gružu, koji još uvijek nije otvoren iako je trebao biti početkom prošle godine (pa i prije), kapaciteta je samo 48 mjesta i s cijenom smještaja preko 1000 eura, ne može se smatrati adekvatnim rješenjem. Osim što je smješten na prometnoj cesti, okružen betonom, lošeg pristupa, bez parkinga, bez pristupa društvenim sadržajima prikladnim za starije osobe, ovaj dom samostalno jednostavno ne može odgovoriti na rastuću potrebu grada te je sramota da je to jedini takav jedini realizirani projekt u dva mandata ove gradske vlasti. Lista čekanja u Dubrovniku za smještaj starijih i nemoćnih osoba trenutno broji oko 800 osoba.

- Treba naglasiti da unatoč ogromnim proračunskim sredstvima kojima Grad raspolaže svake godine, i sedmogodišnjoj vladavini trenutne vlasti, još uvijek nije otvoreno niti jedno dodatno mjesto za ovu populaciju. Žalosno je kako grad još uvijek raspolaže infrastrukturom starom 50 godina. Ovo sve ukazuje na ozbiljan nedostatak planiranja i ulaganja u socijalnu infrastrukturu. Novi dom za starije i nemoćne ispod Opće bolnice Dubrovnik, koji se planira izgraditi, je korak naprijed sa svojim kapacitetom od 200 stalnih i 75 dnevnih korisnika, ali i dalje postoji znatna zabrinutost. S obzirom na dugotrajne procedure i dosadašnja iskustva s domom u Gružu koji još nije otvoren, postoji opravdana sumnja u to kada i ako će ovaj projekt biti realiziran. Čak i s ovim dodatnim planiranim kapacitetom, jasno je da ova dva doma neće biti dovoljna da se zadovolje trenutne potrebe grada a kamoli buduće. Lista čekanja trenutno broje više od 800 osoba a ovdje se radi od ukupno niti 350 mjesta. Jasno je vidljiv nesrazmjer između proračunskih prihoda grada i razvoja socijalne infrastrukture. Dubrovnik koji ima proračun od 119 milijuna eura, kaska u razvoju za gradovima koji imaju znatno manje proračune! Unatoč znatnim proračunskim sredstvima mi još uvijek čekamo na konkretna rješenja koja će riješiti ne samo trenutne potrebe (800 osoba na listi čekanja) već pratiti i demografske trendove kako bi osigurali i buduće potrebe - zaključili su.

Koliko puta smo od vladajućih čuli kako je Dubrovnik jedan od najbogatijih gradova u Hrvatskoj, kako možemo biti sretni jer imamo nadstandard, kako je Grad Dubrovnik financijski odličan te kako nismo prezaduženi, stoji u priopćenju koje potpisuju vijećnici SDP-a u GV Grada Dubrovnika Anita Bonačić Obradović i Saša Škrabić.

- Unatoč svim tim superlativima suočeni smo s problematikom neadekvatne skrbi za starije i nemoćne u Dubrovniku. Ovdje treba naglasiti moralnu i društvenu odgovornost prema ovoj socijalno osjetljivoj populaciji. Kao društvo i kao grad dugujemo starijim generacijama pružanje pomoći i podrške u njihovim kasnijim godinama. Unatoč ovoj velikoj odgovornosti u Dubrovniku nažalost imamo realnost da ona politička opcija koja bi trebala zastupati interese starijih i nemoćnih nije uspjela ostvariti svoj razlog postojanja. Pa se onda navodi pitanje, tko uistinu politički zastupa njihove interese u gradu Dubrovniku? - pitaju se.

- Novi dom za starije i nemoćne u Gružu, koji još uvijek nije otvoren iako je trebao biti početkom prošle godine (pa i prije), kapaciteta je samo 48 mjesta i s cijenom smještaja preko 1000 eura, ne može se smatrati adekvatnim rješenjem. Osim što je smješten na prometnoj cesti, okružen betonom, lošeg pristupa, bez parkinga, bez pristupa društvenim sadržajima prikladnim za starije osobe, ovaj dom samostalno jednostavno ne može odgovoriti na rastuću potrebu grada te je sramota da je to jedini takav jedini realizirani projekt u dva mandata ove gradske vlasti. Lista čekanja u Dubrovniku za smještaj starijih i nemoćnih osoba trenutno broji oko 800 osoba.

- Treba naglasiti da unatoč ogromnim proračunskim sredstvima kojima Grad raspolaže svake godine, i sedmogodišnjoj vladavini trenutne vlasti, još uvijek nije otvoreno niti jedno dodatno mjesto za ovu populaciju. Žalosno je kako grad još uvijek raspolaže infrastrukturom starom 50 godina. Ovo sve ukazuje na ozbiljan nedostatak planiranja i ulaganja u socijalnu infrastrukturu. Novi dom za starije i nemoćne ispod Opće bolnice Dubrovnik, koji se planira izgraditi, je korak naprijed sa svojim kapacitetom od 200 stalnih i 75 dnevnih korisnika, ali i dalje postoji znatna zabrinutost. S obzirom na dugotrajne procedure i dosadašnja iskustva s domom u Gružu koji još nije otvoren, postoji opravdana sumnja u to kada i ako će ovaj projekt biti realiziran. Čak i s ovim dodatnim planiranim kapacitetom, jasno je da ova dva doma neće biti dovoljna da se zadovolje trenutne potrebe grada a kamoli buduće. Lista čekanja trenutno broje više od 800 osoba a ovdje se radi od ukupno niti 350 mjesta. Jasno je vidljiv nesrazmjer između proračunskih prihoda grada i razvoja socijalne infrastrukture. Dubrovnik koji ima proračun od 119 milijuna eura, kaska u razvoju za gradovima koji imaju znatno manje proračune! Unatoč znatnim proračunskim sredstvima mi još uvijek čekamo na konkretna rješenja koja će riješiti ne samo trenutne potrebe (800 osoba na listi čekanja) već pratiti i demografske trendove kako bi osigurali i buduće potrebe - zaključili su.

Koliko puta smo od vladajućih čuli kako je Dubrovnik jedan od najbogatijih gradova u Hrvatskoj, kako možemo biti sretni jer imamo nadstandard, kako je Grad Dubrovnik financijski odličan te kako nismo prezaduženi, stoji u priopćenju koje potpisuju vijećnici SDP-a u GV Grada Dubrovnika Anita Bonačić Obradović i Saša Škrabić.

- Unatoč svim tim superlativima suočeni smo s problematikom neadekvatne skrbi za starije i nemoćne u Dubrovniku. Ovdje treba naglasiti moralnu i društvenu odgovornost prema ovoj socijalno osjetljivoj populaciji. Kao društvo i kao grad dugujemo starijim generacijama pružanje pomoći i podrške u njihovim kasnijim godinama.
