Zadnji službeni podaci o broju novoboljelih od raka u Hrvatskoj dostupni su za 2020. godinu, pa tako i za Dubrovačko-neretvansku županiju. Prema službenom registru, te su godine bile 663 osoba s novootkrivenom zloćudnom novotvorinom odnosno 372 osobe muškog spola i 291 ženskog. Grube stope incidencije imaju uzlazni trend za oba spola, objavio je Zavod za javno zdravstvo Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije.

Najčešća sijela raka kod osoba muškog spola u Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji su prostata (18 posto), debelo crijevo i rektum (17,7 posto) te bronh i pluća (15,9 posto). Najčešća sijela raka kod osoba ženskog spola su dojka (32 posto), bronh i pluća (11 posto) te debelo crijevo i rektum (10,7 posto).

U 2020. godini, u Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji umrle su 333 osobe od novotvorina, prosječno jedna osoba dnevno. U ukupnom broju umrlih, novotvorine se nalaze na drugom mjestu iza bolesti srca i krvnih žila.

Vodeće sijelo raka u uzrocima smrti među malignim bolestima kod muškara i žena je rak bronha i pluća.

"Danas se, zahvaljući tehnološkom napretku i znanstvenom doprinosu, određena sijela raka mogu otkriti u lokaliziranom stadiju što znači uspješnije liječenje pa i izlječenje oboljeloga. Tako je, npr., rano otkrivanje raka omogućeno kroz provedbu nacionalnih programa ranog otkrivanja raka dojke i debelog crijeva koji se provode u Hrvatskoj, ali i drugim redovitim preventivnim pregledima kao što su redoviti ginekološki pregledi i PAPA-testiranje, pregledi madeža na koži. Međutim, osobe koje imaju povećani rizik za nastanak određenog raka moraju posebno skrbiti za svoje zdravlje i ranije početi s preventivnim pregledima. Odgovornost za zdravlje, pa tako i za rano otkrivanje bolesti, ima svaki pojedinac kao i zajednica u cjelini. Tek nakon toga mogu se očekivati bolji zdravstveni ishodi i zdravija populacija", upozoravaju iz Zavoda za javno zdravstvo DNŽ.

U subotu, 4. veljače, obilježen je Svjetski dan prevencije raka. Liječnici Zavoda objavili su niz zanimljivih podataka. Kako navode, pušenje ja najveći pojedinačni uzrok nastanka različitih sijela raka, kao što su rak pluća, usne šupljine, grkljana, jetre, gušterače, dojke, mokraćnog mjehura, bubrega ili debelog crijeva. Odgovorno je za jednu četvrtinu smrtnih slučajeva zbog svih zloćudnih bolesti. Oko 70 posto slučajeva raka pluća može se pripisati samo pušenju. 

Debljina i nedostatak tjelesne aktivnosti mogu biti odgovorni za 20 do 30 posto različitih sijela raka: raka dojke u postmenopauzi, endometrija maternice, debelog crijeva, bubrega ili jednjaka. Virus hepatitisa B ili C poznati su uzrok raka jetre, humani papilomavirus raka grlića maternice, a bakterija helicobacter pylori povećava rizik za rak želuca.

U 2020. godini, u Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji umrle su 333 osobe od novotvorina

Zadnji službeni podaci o broju novoboljelih od raka u Hrvatskoj dostupni su za 2020. godinu, pa tako i za Dubrovačko-neretvansku županiju. Prema službenom registru, te su godine bile 663 osoba s novootkrivenom zloćudnom novotvorinom odnosno 372 osobe muškog spola i 291 ženskog. Grube stope incidencije imaju uzlazni trend za oba spola, objavio je Zavod za javno zdravstvo Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije.

Najčešća sijela raka kod osoba muškog spola u Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji su prostata (18 posto), debelo crijevo i rektum (17,7 posto) te bronh i pluća (15,9 posto). Najčešća sijela raka kod osoba ženskog spola su dojka (32 posto), bronh i pluća (11 posto) te debelo crijevo i rektum (10,7 posto).

U 2020. godini, u Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji umrle su 333 osobe od novotvorina, prosječno jedna osoba dnevno. U ukupnom broju umrlih, novotvorine se nalaze na drugom mjestu iza bolesti srca i krvnih žila.

Vodeće sijelo raka u uzrocima smrti među malignim bolestima kod muškara i žena je rak bronha i pluća.

"Danas se, zahvaljući tehnološkom napretku i znanstvenom doprinosu, određena sijela raka mogu otkriti u lokaliziranom stadiju što znači uspješnije liječenje pa i izlječenje oboljeloga. Tako je, npr., rano otkrivanje raka omogućeno kroz provedbu nacionalnih programa ranog otkrivanja raka dojke i debelog crijeva koji se provode u Hrvatskoj, ali i drugim redovitim preventivnim pregledima kao što su redoviti ginekološki pregledi i PAPA-testiranje, pregledi madeža na koži. Međutim, osobe koje imaju povećani rizik za nastanak određenog raka moraju posebno skrbiti za svoje zdravlje i ranije početi s preventivnim pregledima. Odgovornost za zdravlje, pa tako i za rano otkrivanje bolesti, ima svaki pojedinac kao i zajednica u cjelini. Tek nakon toga mogu se očekivati bolji zdravstveni ishodi i zdravija populacija", upozoravaju iz Zavoda za javno zdravstvo DNŽ.

U subotu, 4. veljače, obilježen je Svjetski dan prevencije raka. Liječnici Zavoda objavili su niz zanimljivih podataka. Kako navode, pušenje ja najveći pojedinačni uzrok nastanka različitih sijela raka, kao što su rak pluća, usne šupljine, grkljana, jetre, gušterače, dojke, mokraćnog mjehura, bubrega ili debelog crijeva. Odgovorno je za jednu četvrtinu smrtnih slučajeva zbog svih zloćudnih bolesti. Oko 70 posto slučajeva raka pluća može se pripisati samo pušenju. 

Debljina i nedostatak tjelesne aktivnosti mogu biti odgovorni za 20 do 30 posto različitih sijela raka: raka dojke u postmenopauzi, endometrija maternice, debelog crijeva, bubrega ili jednjaka. Virus hepatitisa B ili C poznati su uzrok raka jetre, humani papilomavirus raka grlića maternice, a bakterija helicobacter pylori povećava rizik za rak želuca.
