Za manje od mjesec dana na tržnicama će se naći neretvanske jagode, crvene, sočne i ukusne. Ali ako se nastavi sušno razdoblje, a voda u neretvanskim kanalima i dalje bude slana i na granici upotrebe za zalijevanje poljoprivrednih kultura, urod jagoda zasigurno će biti manji. Upravo je jagoda ta koja zahtijeva kvalitetnu vodu za zalijevanje i ne podnosi ni minimalna zaslanjenja. Na plantažama od Opuzena do Ušća poljoprivrednici su počeli dizati agrilno platno s jagoda koje cvjetaju na veliko. Vidljivi su zametnuti plodovi koji će uskoro biti prve jagode iz neretvanske doline. Međutim, zaslanjena voda sve bi mogla promijeniti.

- Voda je jako loša za zalijevanje. Ako ne bude kiše mogli bi imati velikih problema - kaže nam Petar Bjeliš, proizvođač jagoda. Slana voda negativno utječe na rast i razvoj biljke i ploda te u konačnici na manji prinos.

- U slanu vodu se ne mogu dodavati sredstva za prihranu pa biljka ne napreduje - pojašnjava nam Bjeliš koji se nada da će, ako se nastavi toplo vrijeme, jagode zreliti već nakon Uskrsa.

Na probleme zaslanjenja i nekvalitetne vode upozoravaju i iz udruge Neretvanska mladež koja okuplja proizvođače voća i povrća iz doline Neretve. Oni čak mjerodavnim institucijama Ministarstvu poljoprivrede i Hrvatskim vodama nude rješenja kako bi neretvanska poljoprivreda dobila kvalitetnu vodu.

- Zbog većeg dotoka rijeke Neretve imamo jeftin i brz način upravljanja kvalitetom vode u takozvanom bazenu slatke vode – Maloj Neretvi. U periodima višeg vodostaja u Velikoj Neretvi, jednostavno se može otvoriti ustava-brana u Opuzenu ili pustiti voda u Malu Neretvu, a eventualni višak vode ispustiti u more otvaranjem brane na Ušću. Nažalost, taj način distribucije kvalitetne vode nije iskorišten, upozorava agronom Željko Bjeliš.

Zaslanjenost vode u kanalima i rukavcima Neretve

Istovremeno, voda u Maloj Neretvi je kvalitetna za navodnjavanje u smislu ukupnih soli u vodi. Ustava na Crepini (kroz nju se vodi voda iz Male Neretve u sustav) je zatvorena, a to znači da nitko nema dostupnu vodu za navodnjavanje. Pomoću ustave na Crepini se distribuira voda u dva smjera za područje Jesenska i Modrič te za područje Glog i Ušće. Navodno se ustava ne otvara zbog sudskog procesa između Hrvatskih voda i vlasnika poljoprivrednih parcela - ističe Željko Bjeliš, koji je zatražio pomoć od Hrvatskih voda i Ministarstva poljoprivrede u rješavanju ovih problema oko navodnjavanja.

Rast proizvodnje i produktivnosti bez osnovnih resursa poljoprivredne proizvodnje nije moguć, a ovakvim ponašanjem i odnosom prema poljoprivrednim proizvođačima, učiniti ćemo ovaj prostor nepoželjnim za rad i život-rezolutan je Bjeliš.

- Na sreću proizvođača jagoda, imali smo kišni period sa dovoljnom količinom oborina, tako da nismo bili prisiljeni navodnjavati jagode. Međutim, naredni period prema prognozama je bez oborina, sa porastom temperatura. U takvim uvjetima, biti će potrebna kvalitetna voda za navodnjavanje jagoda, a počinje i sadnja ranog povrća, tikvica, dinja i lubenica, koje također treba navodnjavati- ističu u udruzi Neretvanska mladež.

Za manje od mjesec dana na tržnicama će se naći neretvanske jagode, crvene, sočne i ukusne. Ali ako se nastavi sušno razdoblje, a voda u neretvanskim kanalima i dalje bude slana i na granici upotrebe za zalijevanje poljoprivrednih kultura, urod jagoda zasigurno će biti manji. Upravo je jagoda ta koja zahtijeva kvalitetnu vodu za zalijevanje i ne podnosi ni minimalna zaslanjenja. Na plantažama od Opuzena do Ušća poljoprivrednici su počeli dizati agrilno platno s jagoda koje cvjetaju na veliko. Vidljivi su zametnuti plodovi koji će uskoro biti prve jagode iz neretvanske doline. Međutim, zaslanjena voda sve bi mogla promijeniti.

- Voda je jako loša za zalijevanje. Ako ne bude kiše mogli bi imati velikih problema - kaže nam Petar Bjeliš, proizvođač jagoda. Slana voda negativno utječe na rast i razvoj biljke i ploda te u konačnici na manji prinos.

- U slanu vodu se ne mogu dodavati sredstva za prihranu pa biljka ne napreduje - pojašnjava nam Bjeliš koji se nada da će, ako se nastavi toplo vrijeme, jagode zreliti već nakon Uskrsa.

Na probleme zaslanjenja i nekvalitetne vode upozoravaju i iz udruge Neretvanska mladež koja okuplja proizvođače voća i povrća iz doline Neretve. Oni čak mjerodavnim institucijama Ministarstvu poljoprivrede i Hrvatskim vodama nude rješenja kako bi neretvanska poljoprivreda dobila kvalitetnu vodu.

- Zbog većeg dotoka rijeke Neretve imamo jeftin i brz način upravljanja kvalitetom vode u takozvanom bazenu slatke vode – Maloj Neretvi. U periodima višeg vodostaja u Velikoj Neretvi, jednostavno se može otvoriti ustava-brana u Opuzenu ili pustiti voda u Malu Neretvu, a eventualni višak vode ispustiti u more otvaranjem brane na Ušću. Nažalost, taj način distribucije kvalitetne vode nije iskorišten, upozorava agronom Željko Bjeliš.

Zaslanjenost vode u kanalima i rukavcima Neretve

Istovremeno, voda u Maloj Neretvi je kvalitetna za navodnjavanje u smislu ukupnih soli u vodi. Ustava na Crepini (kroz nju se vodi voda iz Male Neretve u sustav) je zatvorena, a to znači da nitko nema dostupnu vodu za navodnjavanje. Pomoću ustave na Crepini se distribuira voda u dva smjera za područje Jesenska i Modrič te za područje Glog i Ušće. Navodno se ustava ne otvara zbog sudskog procesa između Hrvatskih voda i vlasnika poljoprivrednih parcela - ističe Željko Bjeliš, koji je zatražio pomoć od Hrvatskih voda i Ministarstva poljoprivrede u rješavanju ovih problema oko navodnjavanja.

Rast proizvodnje i produktivnosti bez osnovnih resursa poljoprivredne proizvodnje nije moguć, a ovakvim ponašanjem i odnosom prema poljoprivrednim proizvođačima, učiniti ćemo ovaj prostor nepoželjnim za rad i život-rezolutan je Bjeliš.

- Na sreću proizvođača jagoda, imali smo kišni period sa dovoljnom količinom oborina, tako da nismo bili prisiljeni navodnjavati jagode. Međutim, naredni period prema prognozama je bez oborina, sa porastom temperatura. U takvim uvjetima, biti će potrebna kvalitetna voda za navodnjavanje jagoda, a počinje i sadnja ranog povrća, tikvica, dinja i lubenica, koje također treba navodnjavati- ističu u udruzi Neretvanska mladež.
