Kad čujete "All I Want For Christmas Is You" Mariah Carey i/li "Last Christmas" Georgea Michaela u šoping centru, znate da je božićna sezona već počela, makar još bio studeni. Početak sezone potvrđuju i božićni filmovi. Led je ove godine probio Netflix s komedijicom "Najbolji Božić ikad" ili "Best. Christmas. Ever".

---Prošle godine u ovo vrijeme Netflix je imao "Ljubav u božićno doba" s "comeback" ulogom bivše zvijezde Lindsay Lohan. Sada, pak, ima "Najbolji Božić ikad", također s nekadašnjim zvijezdama kao što su Jason Biggs ("Američka pita"), Heather Graham ("Kralj pornića") i pjevačica Brandy Norwood ("Još uvijek znam što si radila prošlog ljeta").
Unatoč zvučnom naslovu, dodatno naglašenom interpunkcijskim znakovima ("Best. Christmas. Ever."), naravno da ovo nije najbolja božićna komedija ikad, niti je usporediva s "Kolom sreće" i "Sam u kući" ili "Ludim božićnim zvonima", "Sam u kući 2" i "Zarobljenima u raju".

Tko očekuje novi božićni klasik od "Najboljeg Božića ikad", može mu narasti duga brada Djeda Mraza od čekanja, odnosno to neće dočekati, posebice ne u vrijeme kad 20. godišnjicu slave "Vilenjak", "Zapravo ljubav" i "Bad Santa". Naprotiv, "Best. Christmas. Ever." prije se može naći na listi najgorih božićnih komedija ikad, ali ne treba pretjerivati.
Film jest osrednje-slabašan, no razmjerno bezbolan za gledanje zbog spoja dosad nespojenih glumaca (Biggs-Graham) i kratkog trajanja od svega 80 minuta. Za manje zahtjevnu publiku, spremnu započeti "ufilmavanje" u blagdansko raspoloženje prosječnim Hallmark filmićem prije nego što televizije krenu u ofenzivu s prikazivanjem superiornijih klasika, "Najbolji Božić ikad" može poslužiti svrsi.
Iskusnijim filmofilima može biti zanimljiv podatak da je jedan od dvojice koscenarista Charles Shyer, autor scenarija poznatih studijskih komedija osamdesetih i devedesetih tipa "Vojnikinja Benjamin", "Jumpin‘ Jack Flash", "Baby Boom", "Otac moje nevjeste 1&2", "Volim nevolje" i "Zamka za roditelje", kao i to da režiju potpisuje Mary Lambert koja je startala s hororima ("Groblje kućnim ljubimaca 1&2"), a u zadnje vrijeme snima božićne komedije ("Dvorac za Božić").

---Doduše, scenarij povremeno djeluje kao da ga je napisao AI, a režija je generička, ali eto, neka su nam Shyer i Lambert zaposleni pa možda dobace i do nečeg boljeg od ovoga. "Best. Christmas. Ever." je čak i imao komičnog potencijala, koliko god bio tipičan u postavci.
Charlotte Sanders (Graham) ima dobrog supruga Roba (Biggs) i dvoje djece, samo nije uspjela ostvariti poslovne snove. Nasuprot Charlotte je njezina poznanica, uspješna Jackie Jennings (Brandy), koja naizgled živi savršen život. Putovi će im se ispreplesti nakon što Charlotte s obitelji krene u posjet sestri za božićne blagdane i spletom okolnosti završi pred vratima Jackieine kuće kod koje je sve naizgled "krasnosjajno" (njezina kovanica).
Jackie poziva nenadane goste da prenoće, no kad idućeg jutra snijeg zatrpa cestu, Charlotte, Rob i njihova djeca ostat će na par dana kod nje. Animozitet s Charlotteine strane pojačava i činjenica da je Rob "samo ovlaš hodao" s Jackie, točnije bila mu je "prva cura na fakultetu", a čini se da su i dalje privlačni jedno drugome.

Opet, Jackiein muž, "genijalni fitness model" Valentino (Matt Cedeño), privlači Charlotte i ona je, izgleda, njemu također privlačna. Privlačnost prema tuđem partneru pod istim krovom nudila je potencijala, ali Valentino je praktički u startu sasjekao stvar rekavši, otprilike, da čak i ako vas netko privlači to svejedno ne mora ništa značiti.
Rivalstvo dviju žena prolazi mrvu bolje, primjerice u sceni kad se Jackie počne ljubiti s Valentinom na sajmu božićnih drvaca, nakon čega Charlotte poljupcima navali na Roba i njezina ruka se zalijepi za njegovu kosu zbog smole (Biggs u "American Pie" elementu uvijek može izazvati barem cerek).
Međutim, zametak crne komedije vrlo brzo ustupa mjesto svjetlucavoj komedijici s puno sentimentalnosti, tj. pokušaju stvaranja božićnog veselja i magije u završnici koja uključuje balon na vrući zrak izvan kontrole, posjet Djeda Mraza i izvedbu pjesme "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" u izvedbi Brandy. "Krasnosjajno"? Ni blizu, ali nije ni tako loše. Brandy je mogla zapjevati i "All I Want For Christmas Is You".

---Prošle godine u ovo vrijeme Netflix je imao "Ljubav u božićno doba" s "comeback" ulogom bivše zvijezde Lindsay Lohan. Sada, pak, ima "Najbolji Božić ikad", također s nekadašnjim zvijezdama kao što su Jason Biggs ("Američka pita"), Heather Graham ("Kralj pornića") i pjevačica Brandy Norwood ("Još uvijek znam što si radila prošlog ljeta").
Unatoč zvučnom naslovu, dodatno naglašenom interpunkcijskim znakovima ("Best. Christmas. Ever."), naravno da ovo nije najbolja božićna komedija ikad, niti je usporediva s "Kolom sreće" i "Sam u kući" ili "Ludim božićnim zvonima", "Sam u kući 2" i "Zarobljenima u raju".

Tko očekuje novi božićni klasik od "Najboljeg Božića ikad", može mu narasti duga brada Djeda Mraza od čekanja, odnosno to neće dočekati, posebice ne u vrijeme kad 20. godišnjicu slave "Vilenjak", "Zapravo ljubav" i "Bad Santa". Naprotiv, "Best. Christmas. Ever." prije se može naći na listi najgorih božićnih komedija ikad, ali ne treba pretjerivati.
Film jest osrednje-slabašan, no razmjerno bezbolan za gledanje zbog spoja dosad nespojenih glumaca (Biggs-Graham) i kratkog trajanja od svega 80 minuta. Za manje zahtjevnu publiku, spremnu započeti "ufilmavanje" u blagdansko raspoloženje prosječnim Hallmark filmićem prije nego što televizije krenu u ofenzivu s prikazivanjem superiornijih klasika, "Najbolji Božić ikad" može poslužiti svrsi.
Iskusnijim filmofilima može biti zanimljiv podatak da je jedan od dvojice koscenarista Charles Shyer, autor scenarija poznatih studijskih komedija osamdesetih i devedesetih tipa "Vojnikinja Benjamin", "Jumpin‘ Jack Flash", "Baby Boom", "Otac moje nevjeste 1&2", "Volim nevolje" i "Zamka za roditelje", kao i to da režiju potpisuje Mary Lambert koja je startala s hororima ("Groblje kućnim ljubimaca 1&2"), a u zadnje vrijeme snima božićne komedije ("Dvorac za Božić").

---Doduše, scenarij povremeno djeluje kao da ga je napisao AI, a režija je generička, ali eto, neka su nam Shyer i Lambert zaposleni pa možda dobace i do nečeg boljeg od ovoga. "Best. Christmas. Ever." je čak i imao komičnog potencijala, koliko god bio tipičan u postavci.
Charlotte Sanders (Graham) ima dobrog supruga Roba (Biggs) i dvoje djece, samo nije uspjela ostvariti poslovne snove. Nasuprot Charlotte je njezina poznanica, uspješna Jackie Jennings (Brandy), koja naizgled živi savršen život. Putovi će im se ispreplesti nakon što Charlotte s obitelji krene u posjet sestri za božićne blagdane i spletom okolnosti završi pred vratima Jackieine kuće kod koje je sve naizgled "krasnosjajno" (njezina kovanica).
Jackie poziva nenadane goste da prenoće, no kad idućeg jutra snijeg zatrpa cestu, Charlotte, Rob i njihova djeca ostat će na par dana kod nje. Animozitet s Charlotteine strane pojačava i činjenica da je Rob "samo ovlaš hodao" s Jackie, točnije bila mu je "prva cura na fakultetu", a čini se da su i dalje privlačni jedno drugome.

Opet, Jackiein muž, "genijalni fitness model" Valentino (Matt Cedeño), privlači Charlotte i ona je, izgleda, njemu također privlačna. Privlačnost prema tuđem partneru pod istim krovom nudila je potencijala, ali Valentino je praktički u startu sasjekao stvar rekavši, otprilike, da čak i ako vas netko privlači to svejedno ne mora ništa značiti.
Rivalstvo dviju žena prolazi mrvu bolje, primjerice u sceni kad se Jackie počne ljubiti s Valentinom na sajmu božićnih drvaca, nakon čega Charlotte poljupcima navali na Roba i njezina ruka se zalijepi za njegovu kosu zbog smole (Biggs u "American Pie" elementu uvijek može izazvati barem cerek).
Međutim, zametak crne komedije vrlo brzo ustupa mjesto svjetlucavoj komedijici s puno sentimentalnosti, tj. pokušaju stvaranja božićnog veselja i magije u završnici koja uključuje balon na vrući zrak izvan kontrole, posjet Djeda Mraza i izvedbu pjesme "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" u izvedbi Brandy. "Krasnosjajno"? Ni blizu, ali nije ni tako loše. Brandy je mogla zapjevati i "All I Want For Christmas Is You".
