Seka Sherlocka Holmesa nalazi se u trku po londonskim ulicama u uvodu nastavka njezinih pustolovina. Mlada Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown) bježi od “bobbyja” i onda zastane da se obrati gledateljima. “Bolje da objasnim”, kaže Enola i predstavi se.

“Zovem se Enola Holmes. Možda me se sjećata kad sam riješila prvi slučaj...”, govori djevojka podsjećajući zaboravne na njezin film iz 2020. koji je postao hit na Netflixu. Lako je bilo u međuvremenu zaboraviti prvu “Enolu Holmes”, ali titularni lik je pamtljiv i kao takav je osigurao nastavak sličnih dometa.

Ni ovo nije nezaboravan film za dugo pamćenje, ali je simpatičan, lepršav i ugodan za gledanje ponajprije zbog pametnog, šarmantnog i živahnog glavnog ženskog lika iz pera Nancy Springer koji je nanovo oživio na ekranu još jednom inspiriranom interpretacijom talentirane zvijezde serije “Stranger Things”.

Druga “Enola” slijedi original koji je spojio akcijsku energiju “Sherlocka Holmesa” i njegova nastavka u režiji Guya Ritchieja (prilagođenu blockbusteru za djecu i mlade) sa samosvjesnošću serije “Fleabag” čije je broje epizode režirao Harry Bradbeer, redatelj ovog i prethodnog filma.

Dok čekamo Ritchiejevog trećeg “Sherlocka Holmesa”, ako već novu sezonu “Fleabag” nećemo dočekati, Enola se opet tuče u “slow motionu” i gleda ravno u kameru razbijajući tzv. “četvrti zid” i ostvarujući interakciju s gledateljem, ali i pokazuje deduktivne sposobnosti starijeg brata, junaka romana Arthura Conana Doylea, kojeg ponovno glumi zvjezdani Henry Cavill (“Čovjek od čelika”, “Šifra U.N.C.L.E.”, “Liga pravde”, “The Witcher”).

Ona žarko želi biti njegova mlađa ženska verzija, “samostalna detektivka vrijedna prezimena”, ali i pridružiti se panteonu drugih viktorijanskih detektiva. Zato je i pokrenula detektivsku agenciju, no muku muči s privlačenjem klijenata; svi bi radije angažirali Sherlocka (“Je li možda vaš brat slobodan?”).

Međutim, jednog dana u njezinu agenciju dolazi djevojka Bessie (Serrana Su-Ling Bliss) koja traži stariju sestru Sarah (Hannah Dodd; “Anatomija jednog skandala”), a obje su novi likovi uz npr. prijetećeg inspektora Graila (veteran David Thewlis) i Miru Troy (znakovito ime i prezime za Sherlockove fanove) u tumačenju Sharon Duncan-Brewster.

”Igra je počela”, najavljuje Enola, spremna razotkriti misteriju uz malu pomoć iskusnog brata i ekscentrične majke (Helena Bonham Carter). Misterija koincidira s jednim stvarnim događajem, štrajkom u tvornici šibica iz 1888., zvanim “The Matchgirls Strike”.

Štrajk “djevojaka sa šibicama” bio je prvi u povijesti da su se “žene zauzele za žene”. “Nešto od ovog je istina”, navodi se na početku “Enole Holmes 2” koja mudro isprepleće povijest i fikciju kako bi naglasila “girl power”, uspostavljen i u prethodnom filmu, te na tome dodatno poantirala.

”Trebala si se držati igle i konca”, netko kaže Enoli. Potenciranje aktualnih feminističkih strujanja gdjekad je odveć prozirno, ali “Enola Holmes 2” ipak ne doseže najprozirniju scenu tog tipa (“Osvetnici: Završnica”) u finalu, kad se heroina potvrđuje kao “sjajna detektivka”. Seka Sherlocka Holmesa nalazi se u trku po londonskim ulicama u uvodu nastavka njezinih pustolovina. Mlada Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown) bježi od “bobbyja” i onda zastane da se obrati gledateljima. “Bolje da objasnim”, kaže Enola i predstavi se.

“Zovem se Enola Holmes. Možda me se sjećata kad sam riješila prvi slučaj...”, govori djevojka podsjećajući zaboravne na njezin film iz 2020. koji je postao hit na Netflixu. Lako je bilo u međuvremenu zaboraviti prvu “Enolu Holmes”, ali titularni lik je pamtljiv i kao takav je osigurao nastavak sličnih dometa.

Ni ovo nije nezaboravan film za dugo pamćenje, ali je simpatičan, lepršav i ugodan za gledanje ponajprije zbog pametnog, šarmantnog i živahnog glavnog ženskog lika iz pera Nancy Springer koji je nanovo oživio na ekranu još jednom inspiriranom interpretacijom talentirane zvijezde serije “Stranger Things”.

Druga “Enola” slijedi original koji je spojio akcijsku energiju “Sherlocka Holmesa” i njegova nastavka u režiji Guya Ritchieja (prilagođenu blockbusteru za djecu i mlade) sa samosvjesnošću serije “Fleabag” čije je broje epizode režirao Harry Bradbeer, redatelj ovog i prethodnog filma.

Dok čekamo Ritchiejevog trećeg “Sherlocka Holmesa”, ako već novu sezonu “Fleabag” nećemo dočekati, Enola se opet tuče u “slow motionu” i gleda ravno u kameru razbijajući tzv. “četvrti zid” i ostvarujući interakciju s gledateljem, ali i pokazuje deduktivne sposobnosti starijeg brata, junaka romana Arthura Conana Doylea, kojeg ponovno glumi zvjezdani Henry Cavill (“Čovjek od čelika”, “Šifra U.N.C.L.E.”, “Liga pravde”, “The Witcher”).

Ona žarko želi biti njegova mlađa ženska verzija, “samostalna detektivka vrijedna prezimena”, ali i pridružiti se panteonu drugih viktorijanskih detektiva. Zato je i pokrenula detektivsku agenciju, no muku muči s privlačenjem klijenata; svi bi radije angažirali Sherlocka (“Je li možda vaš brat slobodan?”).

Međutim, jednog dana u njezinu agenciju dolazi djevojka Bessie (Serrana Su-Ling Bliss) koja traži stariju sestru Sarah (Hannah Dodd; “Anatomija jednog skandala”), a obje su novi likovi uz npr. prijetećeg inspektora Graila (veteran David Thewlis) i Miru Troy (znakovito ime i prezime za Sherlockove fanove) u tumačenju Sharon Duncan-Brewster.

”Igra je počela”, najavljuje Enola, spremna razotkriti misteriju uz malu pomoć iskusnog brata i ekscentrične majke (Helena Bonham Carter). Misterija koincidira s jednim stvarnim događajem, štrajkom u tvornici šibica iz 1888., zvanim “The Matchgirls Strike”.

Štrajk “djevojaka sa šibicama” bio je prvi u povijesti da su se “žene zauzele za žene”. “Nešto od ovog je istina”, navodi se na početku “Enole Holmes 2” koja mudro isprepleće povijest i fikciju kako bi naglasila “girl power”, uspostavljen i u prethodnom filmu, te na tome dodatno poantirala.

”Trebala si se držati igle i konca”, netko kaže Enoli. Potenciranje aktualnih feminističkih strujanja gdjekad je odveć prozirno, ali “Enola Holmes 2” ipak ne doseže najprozirniju scenu tog tipa (“Osvetnici: Završnica”) u finalu, kad se heroina potvrđuje kao “sjajna detektivka”.
