Svjetski prvak u kickboxingu do 81 kg (full-conttact), Nikica Radonić iz Banje pored Vrgorca vrlo je vješt u ringu, pored toga je i strastveni je lovac, ali kao i većina vrgorske djece odrasle na selu, uz izvor pitke vode i Maticu, voli prirodu i ima razvijenu ekološku svijest.

Tako se Radonić sa svojom ekipom iz Banje, bratom Mariom, rođacima Antom i Alenom Radonićem te prijateljom Franom Cikojom, prije najavljenih velikih kiša bacio na posao. Gotovo cijeli dan čistili su vrgorsko polje Rastok uz korito Matice, od izvora Banje do Vrgorskog mosta.

A u polju koje je nekad bilo pojam za čistu vodu i netaknutu prirodu, gdje su težaci redovito pili vodu iz Matice, nažalost, danas potpuna druga slika. Neodgovorni pojedinci, ostavljaju ili bacaju na svakom koraku plastičnu foliju od jagoda, boce od cidokora (herbicid)....

Koliko su ljudi površni i neodgovorni u toj svojoj priči da proizvodu nešto povrća i voća, i sutra prodaju na tržnici, dovoljno govori podatak da je samo dvjestotinjak metara dalje izvor Banja s kojeg vodu pije Vrgorac i 17 okolnih sela. Pošto je to prilično propusno tlo, pitanje je što sve završi u podzemnim tokovima i u bušotini na dubini od 35 metara iz koje se crpi voda.

No, mi nismo tu da to analiziramo, nego da ukažemo na ove probleme i potaknemo kod stanovnika uz Rastok svijest da sve što završi na njivi ili uz njivu, kao plastika ili ambalaža od pesticida jednog dana je prijetnja za zdravlje ljudi i potencijalna opasnost za razvoj malignih bolesti.

Kad se u Rastoku nivo vode podigne za vrijeme obilnih padalina, polje je puno vrša, uglavnom se lovi gobica od koje je odličan brudet, a nažalost ta voda sa sobom nosi plastične folije i ambalaže od pesticida... Dolazimo do toga da sami sebe na neki način uništavamo.

- To je užas šta se sve baca u polje, kao da nikoga nije briga što će biti sutra. Za nekoliko sati skupili smo gotovo četiri pune traktorske prikolice smeća, a prednjači plastična folija i ambalaža od pesticida. Mi smo to skupili do Vrgorskog mosta, a onaj dio uz Maticu, od mosta do Podprologa je još gori, tu se baca sve odreda. Postoje u polju i kontejneri za odlaganje tog otpada, no našim ljudima je to draže ostaviti uz njivu i onda za vrijeme poplava, voda to nosi okolo - objašnjava nam Alen Radonić, koji je pruzeo ulogu "glasnogovornika" ove vrijedne ekipe.

U cijelu ovu priču svakako bi se trebale uključiti "Hrvatske vode" i "Gradska čistoća" s nekoliko akcije čišćenja polja i izvora pitke vode, a za ekološki neosvještene pojedince koji bacaju ambalažu propisati adekvatne sankcije, pa bi dobro razmislili što će sutra ostaviti kraj vode i u polju.

Svjetski prvak u kickboxingu do 81 kg (full-conttact), Nikica Radonić iz Banje pored Vrgorca vrlo je vješt u ringu, pored toga je i strastveni je lovac, ali kao i većina vrgorske djece odrasle na selu, uz izvor pitke vode i Maticu, voli prirodu i ima razvijenu ekološku svijest.

Tako se Radonić sa svojom ekipom iz Banje, bratom Mariom, rođacima Antom i Alenom Radonićem te prijateljom Franom Cikojom, prije najavljenih velikih kiša bacio na posao. Gotovo cijeli dan čistili su vrgorsko polje Rastok uz korito Matice, od izvora Banje do Vrgorskog mosta.

A u polju koje je nekad bilo pojam za čistu vodu i netaknutu prirodu, gdje su težaci redovito pili vodu iz Matice, nažalost, danas potpuna druga slika. Neodgovorni pojedinci, ostavljaju ili bacaju na svakom koraku plastičnu foliju od jagoda, boce od cidokora (herbicid)....

Koliko su ljudi površni i neodgovorni u toj svojoj priči da proizvodu nešto povrća i voća, i sutra prodaju na tržnici, dovoljno govori podatak da je samo dvjestotinjak metara dalje izvor Banja s kojeg vodu pije Vrgorac i 17 okolnih sela. Pošto je to prilično propusno tlo, pitanje je što sve završi u podzemnim tokovima i u bušotini na dubini od 35 metara iz koje se crpi voda.

No, mi nismo tu da to analiziramo, nego da ukažemo na ove probleme i potaknemo kod stanovnika uz Rastok svijest da sve što završi na njivi ili uz njivu, kao plastika ili ambalaža od pesticida jednog dana je prijetnja za zdravlje ljudi i potencijalna opasnost za razvoj malignih bolesti.

Kad se u Rastoku nivo vode podigne za vrijeme obilnih padalina, polje je puno vrša, uglavnom se lovi gobica od koje je odličan brudet, a nažalost ta voda sa sobom nosi plastične folije i ambalaže od pesticida... Dolazimo do toga da sami sebe na neki način uništavamo.

- To je užas šta se sve baca u polje, kao da nikoga nije briga što će biti sutra. Za nekoliko sati skupili smo gotovo četiri pune traktorske prikolice smeća, a prednjači plastična folija i ambalaža od pesticida. Mi smo to skupili do Vrgorskog mosta, a onaj dio uz Maticu, od mosta do Podprologa je još gori, tu se baca sve odreda. Postoje u polju i kontejneri za odlaganje tog otpada, no našim ljudima je to draže ostaviti uz njivu i onda za vrijeme poplava, voda to nosi okolo - objašnjava nam Alen Radonić, koji je pruzeo ulogu "glasnogovornika" ove vrijedne ekipe.

U cijelu ovu priču svakako bi se trebale uključiti "Hrvatske vode" i "Gradska čistoća" s nekoliko akcije čišćenja polja i izvora pitke vode, a za ekološki neosvještene pojedince koji bacaju ambalažu propisati adekvatne sankcije, pa bi dobro razmislili što će sutra ostaviti kraj vode i u polju.
