1) U posudi pomiješajte malo tople vode i nekoliko kapi deterdženta za pranje posuđa, sve dok ne dobijete mjehuriće. Nakit namačite desetak minuta, a zatim ga očetkajte mekanom četkicom i obrišite krpom.
2) Napravite smjesu od sode bikarbone i vode u omjeru 2:1. Smjesu utrljajte na nakit, a zatim isperite toplom vodom i osušite krpom.
3) Pomiješajte pola šalice limunova soka i žličicu maslinova ulja. Namočite čistu krpu u mješavinu te očistite sav nakit, te ga isperite u toploj vodi i osušite suhom i čistom krpom.

4) Pomiješajte pola čaše alkoholnog octa i dvije žlice sode bikarbone, a zatim nakit stavite u smjesu i pustite da odstoji dva do tri sata. Dobro isperite i osušite krpom.
5) Srebrni nakit možete očistiti malom količinom paste za zube, ali pripazite da ne uzmete pastu za izbjeljivanje. Četkicom lagano utrljajte pastu na nakit pa zatim isperite i osušite.
