Novo arheološke otkriće je, smatraju znanstvenici, najstariji primjer figurativne umjetnosti izrađene ljudskom rukom. Slika divlje svinje, pronađena na zidu špilje u Indoneziji, stara je najmanje 45.500 godina, piše News Atlas.

Umjetnina je pronađena iznad visoke litice, uz stražnji zid netaknute špilje od vapnenca zvane Leang Tedongnge u Južnom Sulaveziju u Indoneziji. Čini se da uz par otisaka ruku, pokazuje i vrstu divlje svinje koja živi na otoku.

- Slika prikazuje svinju s kratkim grebenom uspravnih dlaka i parom bradavica nalik rogovima ispod očiju, što je karakteristično za odrasle muške bradavičaste svinje Sulawesi. Oslikana crvenim oker pigmentom, čini se da svinja promatra borbu ili društvenu interakciju između dvije druge bradavičaste svinje, kaže Adam Brumm, suvoditelj istraživačkog tima.

Inače može biti teško za shvatiti koliko je staro ovakvo umjetničko djelo, ali u ovom su slučaju arheolozi imali sreće. Na stražnjoj nozi jedne od naslikanih svinja stvorio se mali talog kalcijevog karbonata. Ove je naslage nešto lakše datirati, a budući da je slika očito nastala prva, tako bi se mogla odrediti minimalna dob novootkrivene umjetnine.

Korištenjem analize serije urana, istraživači su utvrdili da su naslage stare minimalno 45.500 godina. To čini sliku najstarijim poznatim umjetničkim djelom koje prikazuje prepoznatljivu tematiku na svijetu. Time je prethodni rad koji je držao taj status, slika prestigla za 2000 godina. Kako li samo u kontekstu ovog vreman to izgleda zanemarivo, a riječ je o trajanju cijele nove ere. Ipak čak ni ovo nije najstarije poznato umjetničko djelo - ta čast trenutno pripada južnoafričkoj stijeni isprepletenoj serijom apstraktnih crvenih linija, datiranih u vrijeme prije više od 70 000 godina.

Premda slika za sada drži status najstarije figurativne umjetnine, arheolozi i istraživači koji su je pronašli i opisali ne moraju se previše nadati da će tako ostati. Arheološki dokazi pokazuju da su prvi ljudi došli u Australiji najmanje prije 65 000 godina, a njihov najvjerojatniji put na kontinent bio je preko obližnjih oceanskih otoka. Pronalaženje i datiranje drugih primjera umjetnosti na kamenju špilja u Indoneziji moglo bi pomoći da pobliže otkrije preko kojih otoka točno. Porastom istraživanja sigurno će se otkriti nove slike, a samo je pitanje vremena kad će netka biti i starija od ove bradavičaste svinje.

Novo arheološke otkriće je, smatraju znanstvenici, najstariji primjer figurativne umjetnosti izrađene ljudskom rukom. Slika divlje svinje, pronađena na zidu špilje u Indoneziji, stara je najmanje 45.500 godina, piše News Atlas.

Umjetnina je pronađena iznad visoke litice, uz stražnji zid netaknute špilje od vapnenca zvane Leang Tedongnge u Južnom Sulaveziju u Indoneziji. Čini se da uz par otisaka ruku, pokazuje i vrstu divlje svinje koja živi na otoku.

- Slika prikazuje svinju s kratkim grebenom uspravnih dlaka i parom bradavica nalik rogovima ispod očiju, što je karakteristično za odrasle muške bradavičaste svinje Sulawesi. Oslikana crvenim oker pigmentom, čini se da svinja promatra borbu ili društvenu interakciju između dvije druge bradavičaste svinje, kaže Adam Brumm, suvoditelj istraživačkog tima.

Inače može biti teško za shvatiti koliko je staro ovakvo umjetničko djelo, ali u ovom su slučaju arheolozi imali sreće. Na stražnjoj nozi jedne od naslikanih svinja stvorio se mali talog kalcijevog karbonata. Ove je naslage nešto lakše datirati, a budući da je slika očito nastala prva, tako bi se mogla odrediti minimalna dob novootkrivene umjetnine.

Korištenjem analize serije urana, istraživači su utvrdili da su naslage stare minimalno 45.500 godina. To čini sliku najstarijim poznatim umjetničkim djelom koje prikazuje prepoznatljivu tematiku na svijetu. Time je prethodni rad koji je držao taj status, slika prestigla za 2000 godina. Kako li samo u kontekstu ovog vreman to izgleda zanemarivo, a riječ je o trajanju cijele nove ere. Ipak čak ni ovo nije najstarije poznato umjetničko djelo - ta čast trenutno pripada južnoafričkoj stijeni isprepletenoj serijom apstraktnih crvenih linija, datiranih u vrijeme prije više od 70 000 godina.

Premda slika za sada drži status najstarije figurativne umjetnine, arheolozi i istraživači koji su je pronašli i opisali ne moraju se previše nadati da će tako ostati. Arheološki dokazi pokazuju da su prvi ljudi došli u Australiji najmanje prije 65 000 godina, a njihov najvjerojatniji put na kontinent bio je preko obližnjih oceanskih otoka. Pronalaženje i datiranje drugih primjera umjetnosti na kamenju špilja u Indoneziji moglo bi pomoći da pobliže otkrije preko kojih otoka točno. U špilji u Indoneziji pronađena najstarija figurativna slika: znanstvenicima će pomoći otkriti kako su prvi ljudi stigli do Australije

Novo arheološke otkriće je, smatraju znanstvenici, najstariji primjer figurativne umjetnosti izrađene ljudskom rukom. Slika divlje svinje, pronađena na zidu špilje u Indoneziji, stara je najmanje 45.500 godina, piše News Atlas.

Umjetnina je pronađena iznad visoke litice, uz stražnji zid netaknute špilje od vapnenca zvane Leang Tedongnge u Južnom Sulaveziju u Indoneziji. Čini se da uz par otisaka ruku, pokazuje i vrstu divlje svinje koja živi na otoku.

- Slika prikazuje svinju s kratkim grebenom uspravnih dlaka i parom bradavica nalik rogovima ispod očiju, što je karakteristično za odrasle muške bradavičaste svinje Sulawesi. Oslikana crvenim oker pigmentom, čini se da svinja promatra borbu ili društvenu interakciju između dvije druge bradavičaste svinje, kaže Ada...
