Kolumbijska mornarica spasila je brodolomca Elvisa Françoisa (47), državljanina Dominike, koji je rekao da je preživio 24 dana plutajući Karibima na jedrilici jedući Maggi kockice temeljca, kečap i češnjak u prahu.  Pio je kišnicu koju je skupljao u jedru.

Odiseja Elvisa Françoisa započela je slučajno. Dok je vršio popravke na svojoj jedrilici na otoku Sveti Martin, u Nizozemskim Antilima, zbog nagle promjene vremena jedrilica se odvezala i otplutala. Elvis je pokušao pozvati pomoć na mobitel, ali je do tada izgubio signal zbog udaljenosti od obale.

Elvis je uspio biti primijećen nasred mora zahvaljujući riječi "pomoć" napisanoj na jedrilici. Zatim, kad je čuo da avion u blizini leti, koristio je ogledalo kako bi signalizirao svoju prisutnost pilotu, koji se okrenuo kako bi pobliže pogledao i primijetio Elvisovu očajničku poruku.

Nakon što su ga vidjeli, locirali su ga 120 nautičkih milja sjeverozapadno od kolumbijskog poluotoka La Guajira, a Francoisa je u lučki grad Cartagena dovezao kontejnerski brod u prolazu. Kolumbijska mornarica mu je tada pružila medicinsku pomoć.

Kako je izvijestio Guardian, spasioci su rekli da su ga pronašli u dobrom zdravlju, osim što je značajno smršavio. Spasiocima je rekao: "24 dana, bez zemlje... Nemam s kim razgovarati. Ne znam što da radim. Ne znam gdje sam... Bilo je teško."

"U jednom trenutku izgubio sam nadu i razmišljao o svojoj obitelji, ali zahvaljujem obalnoj straži živ sam. Da nije bilo njih, ne bih razgovarao s vama", rekao je François.

Kolumbijska mornarica spasila je brodolomca Elvisa Françoisa (47), državljanina Dominike, koji je rekao da je preživio 24 dana plutajući Karibima na jedrilici jedući Maggi kockice temeljca, kečap i češnjak u prahu.  Pio je kišnicu koju je skupljao u jedru.

Odiseja Elvisa Françoisa započela je slučajno. Dok je vršio popravke na svojoj jedrilici na otoku Sveti Martin, u Nizozemskim Antilima, zbog nagle promjene vremena jedrilica se odvezala i otplutala. Elvis je pokušao pozvati pomoć na mobitel, ali je do tada izgubio signal zbog udaljenosti od obale.

Elvis je uspio biti primijećen nasred mora zahvaljujući riječi "pomoć" napisanoj na jedrilici. Zatim, kad je čuo da avion u blizini leti, koristio je ogledalo kako bi signalizirao svoju prisutnost pilotu, koji se okrenuo kako bi pobliže pogledao i primijetio Elvisovu očajničku poruku.

Nakon što su ga vidjeli, locirali su ga 120 nautičkih milja sjeverozapadno od kolumbijskog poluotoka La Guajira, a Francoisa je u lučki grad Cartagena dovezao kontejnerski brod u prolazu. Kolumbijska mornarica mu je tada pružila medicinsku pomoć.

Kako je izvijestio Guardian, spasioci su rekli da su ga pronašli u dobrom zdravlju, osim što je značajno smršavio. Spasiocima je rekao: "24 dana, bez zemlje... Nemam s kim razgovarati. Ne znam što da radim. Ne znam gdje sam... Bilo je teško."

"U jednom trenutku izgubio sam nadu i razmišljao o svojoj obitelji, ali zahvaljujem obalnoj straži živ sam. Da nije bilo njih, ne bih razgovarao s vama", rekao je François.

Nevjerojatna pričaSpašen nakon 24 dana: sam plutao morem na pokvarenom brodu, evo kako je uspio preživjeti

Kolumbijska mornarica spasila je brodolomca Elvisa Françoisa (47), državljanina Dominike, koji je rekao da je preživio 24 dana plutajući Karibima na jedrilici jedući Maggi kockice temeljca, kečap i češnjak u prahu.  Pio je kišnicu koju je skupljao u jedru.

Odiseja Elvisa Françoisa započela je slučajno. Dok je vršio popravke na svojoj jedrilici na otoku Sveti Martin, u Nizozemskim Antilima, zbog nagle promjene vremena jedrilica se odvezala i otplutala. Elvis je pokušao pozvati pomoć na mobitel, ali je do tada izgubio signal zbog udaljenosti od obale.

Elvis je uspio biti primijećen nasred mora zahvaljujući riječi "pomoć" napisanoj na jedrilici. Zatim, kad je čuo da avion u blizini leti, koristio je ogledalo kako bi signalizirao svoju prisutnost pilotu, koji se okrenuo kako bi pobliže pogledao i primijetio Elvisovu očajničku poruku.

Nakon što su ga vidjeli, locirali su ga 120 nautičkih milja sjeverozapadno od kolumbijskog poluotoka La Guajira, a Francoisa je u lučki grad Cartagena dovezao kontejnerski brod u prolazu. Kolumbijska mornarica mu je tada pružila medicinsku pomoć.

Kako je izvijestio Guardian, spasioci su rekli da su ga pronašli u dobrom zdravlju, osim što je značajno smršavio. Spasiocima je rekao: "24 dana, bez zemlje... Nemam s kim razgovarati. Ne znam što da radim. Ne znam gdje sam... Bilo je teško."

"U jednom trenutku izgubio sam nadu i razmišljao o svojoj obitelji, ali zahvaljujem obalnoj straži živ sam. Da nije bilo njih, ne bih razgovarao s vama", rekao je François.
