Ako se plan američke tvrtke Freedom Ship International uspješno realizira, a vjeruje se da hoće, dovoljno bogati ljudi imat će prigodu nekoliko godina ili desetljeća, već prema afinitetu, živjeti daleko od kopna, zagađenja, gradske vreve i stresa - na plovećem gradu vrijednom 10 milijardi dolara.

Freedom Ship, kako bi se grad zvao, nudio bi sve potrebne sadržaje za svojih 40.000 stanovnika, uključujući bolnicu, škole, parkove, trgovine, kina, knjižnice, kazališta i druge zabavne sadržaje, pa čak i vlastitu malu zračnu luku.

Plovećih 1600 m

Ploveći grad bio bi dug čak 1371 metar, odnosno četiri puta duži od legendarnog kruzera Queen Mary 2, a deplasman bi mu iznosio 2,7 milijuna tona. Zbog takve veličine nikad ne bi uplovljavao u luke, već bi stalno plovio morima i oceanima oplovljavajući zemaljsku kuglu svake dvije godine, pri čemu bi se sidrio ispred velikih i zanimljivih gradova omogućavajući svojim stanovnicima da ih posjete i povremeno uživaju u kopnenim radostima.

Generalni je plan da provodi 70 posto svoga ukupnog godišnjeg kalendara na sidru, a 30 posto u plovidbi između odredišta.

Već je osmišljen i plan optimalne rute oko svijeta, koji se uglavnom bazira na klimatskim parametrima. Tako je predviđeno da Freedom Ship isplovljava s istočne američke obale u lipnju i plovi Atlantikom prema Europi. Na taj bi način tijekom ljetnih mjeseci oplovio oko sjevernih obala Škotske, dotaknuo skandinavske zemlje, a potom bi se kroz Engleski kanal vratio natrag, spustio prema Gibraltaru i ušao u Mediteran.

Božić bi putnici-građani proslavili negdje uz obalu zapadne Afrike, a u siječnju bi stigli do Cape Towna i potom se zaputili prema Australiji. Nakon nje obišli bi više azijskih zemalja i gradova, te krajem rujna zaplovili Tihim oceanom u pravcu zapadne obale SAD-a. Slijedilo bi dugo putovanje oko Južne Amerike, prvo uz njene zapadne, pa potom istočne obale, nakon čega bi se Freedom Ship vratio na polaznu točku spreman za idući dvogodišnji plovidbeni ciklus.

Golema posada

Ako se tijekom duge plovidbe neki stanovnici požele kopna, bit će odmah usluženi zahvaljujući aerodromu na gornjoj palubi. On bi inače trebao biti prilično prometan, jer je predviđeno da plovećim građanima u turističke posjete dolaze oni s obližnjih obala. A takvih turista u dnevnom aranžmanu moglo bi se ugostiti čak 30.000 tisuća, dok bi ih 10.000 moglo i prespavati na Freedom Shipu. Naravno, za stalne stanovnike i turiste treba se dobro i brinuti, a u tu je svrhu planirana posada od 20.000 ljudi.

Direktor tvrtke Freedom Ship International Roger M. Goochof čvrsto je uvjeren da će njihov projekt biti uspješno ostvaren i da će im pripasti čast izgradnje najvećeg broda u ljudskoj povijesti. S obzirom na pokazani interes ulagača, on vjeruje da bi već za koju godinu projekt iz idejne faze mogao krenuti u praktičnu realizaciju.

Ako se plan američke tvrtke Freedom Ship International uspješno realizira, a vjeruje se da hoće, dovoljno bogati ljudi imat će prigodu nekoliko godina ili desetljeća, već prema afinitetu, živjeti daleko od kopna, zagađenja, gradske vreve i stresa - na plovećem gradu vrijednom 10 milijardi dolara.

Freedom Ship, kako bi se grad zvao, nudio bi sve potrebne sadržaje za svojih 40.000 stanovnika, uključujući bolnicu, škole, parkove, trgovine, kina, knjižnice, kazališta i druge zabavne sadržaje, pa čak i vlastitu malu zračnu luku.

Plovećih 1600 m

Ploveći grad bio bi dug čak 1371 metar, odnosno četiri puta duži od legendarnog kruzera Queen Mary 2, a deplasman bi mu iznosio 2,7 milijuna tona. Zbog takve veličine nikad ne bi uplovljavao u luke, već bi stalno plovio morima i oceanima oplovljavajući zemaljsku kuglu svake dvije godine, pri čemu bi se sidrio ispred velikih i zanimljivih gradova omogućavajući svojim stanovnicima da ih posjete i povremeno uživaju u kopnenim radostima.

Generalni je plan da provodi 70 posto svoga ukupnog godišnjeg kalendara na sidru, a 30 posto u plovidbi između odredišta.

Već je osmišljen i plan optimalne rute oko svijeta, koji se uglavnom bazira na klimatskim parametrima. Tako je predviđeno da Freedom Ship isplovljava s istočne američke obale u lipnju i plovi Atlantikom prema Europi. Na taj bi način tijekom ljetnih mjeseci oplovio oko sjevernih obala Škotske, dotaknuo skandinavske zemlje, a potom bi se kroz Engleski kanal vratio natrag, spustio prema Gibraltaru i ušao u Mediteran.

Božić bi putnici-građani proslavili negdje uz obalu zapadne Afrike, a u siječnju bi stigli do Cape Towna i potom se zaputili prema Australiji. Nakon nje obišli bi više azijskih zemalja i gradova, te krajem rujna zaplovili Tihim oceanom u pravcu zapadne obale SAD-a. Slijedilo bi dugo putovanje oko Južne Amerike, prvo uz njene zapadne, pa potom istočne obale, nakon čega bi se Freedom Ship vratio na polaznu točku spreman za idući dvogodišnji plovidbeni ciklus.

Golema posada

Ako se tijekom duge plovidbe neki stanovnici požele kopna, bit će odmah usluženi zahvaljujući aerodromu na gornjoj palubi. On bi inače trebao biti prilično prometan, jer je predviđeno da plovećim građanima u turističke posjete dolaze oni s obližnjih obala. A takvih turista u dnevnom aranžmanu moglo bi se ugostiti čak 30.000 tisuća, dok bi ih 10.000 moglo i prespavati na Freedom Shipu. Naravno, za stalne stanovnike i turiste treba se dobro i brinuti, a u tu je svrhu planirana posada od 20.000 ljudi.

Direktor tvrtke Freedom Ship International Roger M. Goochof čvrsto je uvjeren da će njihov projekt biti uspješno ostvaren i da će im pripasti čast izgradnje najvećeg broda u ljudskoj povijesti.
