Nakon što su splitsko-dalmatinski župan Blaženko Boban (HDZ) i njegov zamjenik Ante Šošić (HDZ), u društvu Ivana Slavića (HDZ), načelnika općine Sućuraj, posjetili gradilište novog trajektnog pristaništa u najistočnijem hvarskom mjestu, sada će se operacionalizirati važna odluka Općinskog vijeća.

Prema tom dokumentu, luka će nositi ime Ante Franičevića, poginulog branitelja iz redova Hrvatske ratne mornarice, koji je posmrtno odlikovan Ordenom Petra Zrinjskog i Frana Krste Frankopana te mu je dodijeljen čin kapetana korvete.

Podsjetimo, u Sućurju se gradi projekt vrijedan 30 milijuna kuna koji Europska unija sufinancira s 21 milijun kuna, a ostatak novca osigurala je Lučka uprava Splitsko-dalmatinske županije.

Dinamika izvođenja radova sporija je od zacrtane jer je Domagoj Maroević (HDZ), ravnatelj regionalne ustanove, u prvom kvartalu 2019. najavljivao da će realizacija projekta započeti već u svibnju te godine i da će biti okončana u roku od dvije godine.

Otvaranje pristaništa očekuje se do početka turističke sezone 2022. godine, a načelnik Slavić naglasio je da se njegovom realizacijom stvaraju preduvjeti za prometovanje većih trajekata na liniji Sućuraj – Drvenik, odnosno bolji protok vozila i putnika.

Također izglasavanje novog županijskog Prostornog plana aktualizira povezivanje otoka Hvara s planiranim cestovnim tunelom Ravča – Drvenik, odnosno autocestom, što je značajno za daljnji razvoj i gospodarski napredak svih gradova i općina na škoju.

Spomen-obilježje Anti Franičeviću bit će postavljeno u ponedjeljak, 29. studenoga, na dan kada je položio svoj život 1991. godine.

Inicijativa o imenovanju začela se suradnjom Općine Sućuraj i Udruge veterana HRM-a, a Franičević ostaje upamćen po tome što je zajedno s pripadnikom HRM-a Ivanom Matićem i djelatnicima brodogradilišta "Greben" iz Vele Luke, Željkom Županovićem i Daliborom Zokićem, sudjelovao u akciji oduzimanja desantno-jurišnog čamca Jugoslavenske ratne mornarice, koji je postao prvi ratni brod koji je podigao zastavu Republike Hrvatske.

Akcija oduzimanja broda i njegove plovidbe iz škvera u Veloj Luci do ušća rijeke Cetine u Omišu obavljena je noću, s plovilom upitne tehničke ispravnosti i u okolnostima potpune pomorske blokade hrvatske obale i otoka od strane JRM-a.

Inače, na dan postavljanja spomen-obilježja tom će činu prethoditi polaganje vijenaca na grobu, kao i sveta misa zadušnica za pok. Antu Franičevića, jednog od ukupno šest poginulih branitelja s Hvara u Domovinskom ratu.

Nakon što su splitsko-dalmatinski župan Blaženko Boban (HDZ) i njegov zamjenik Ante Šošić (HDZ), u društvu Ivana Slavića (HDZ), načelnika općine Sućuraj, posjetili gradilište novog trajektnog pristaništa u najistočnijem hvarskom mjestu, sada će se operacionalizirati važna odluka Općinskog vijeća.

Prema tom dokumentu, luka će nositi ime Ante Franičevića, poginulog branitelja iz redova Hrvatske ratne mornarice, koji je posmrtno odlikovan Ordenom Petra Zrinjskog i Frana Krste Frankopana te mu je dodijeljen čin kapetana korvete.

Podsjetimo, u Sućurju se gradi projekt vrijedan 30 milijuna kuna koji Europska unija sufinancira s 21 milijun kuna, a ostatak novca osigurala je Lučka uprava Splitsko-dalmatinske županije.

Dinamika izvođenja radova sporija je od zacrtane jer je Domagoj Maroević (HDZ), ravnatelj regionalne ustanove, u prvom kvartalu 2019. najavljivao da će realizacija projekta započeti već u svibnju te godine i da će biti okončana u roku od dvije godine.

Otvaranje pristaništa očekuje se do početka turističke sezone 2022. godine, a načelnik Slavić naglasio je da se njegovom realizacijom stvaraju preduvjeti za prometovanje većih trajekata na liniji Sućuraj – Drvenik, odnosno bolji protok vozila i putnika.

Također izglasavanje novog županijskog Prostornog plana aktualizira povezivanje otoka Hvara s planiranim cestovnim tunelom Ravča – Drvenik, odnosno autocestom, što je značajno za daljnji razvoj i gospodarski napredak svih gradova i općina na škoju.

Spomen-obilježje Anti Franičeviću bit će postavljeno u ponedjeljak, 29. studenoga, na dan kada je položio svoj život 1991. godine.

Inicijativa o imenovanju začela se suradnjom Općine Sućuraj i Udruge veterana HRM-a, a Franičević ostaje upamćen po tome što je zajedno s pripadnikom HRM-a Ivanom Matićem i djelatnicima brodogradilišta "Greben" iz Vele Luke, Željkom Županovićem i Daliborom Zokićem, sudjelovao u akciji oduzimanja desantno-jurišnog čamca Jugoslavenske ratne mornarice, koji je postao prvi ratni brod koji je podigao zastavu Republike Hrvatske.

Akcija oduzimanja broda i njegove plovidbe iz škvera u Veloj Luci do ušća rijeke Cetine u Omišu obavljena je noću, s plovilom upitne tehničke ispravnosti i u okolnostima potpune pomorske blokade hrvatske obale i otoka od strane JRM-a.

Inače, na dan postavljanja spomen-obilježja tom će činu prethoditi polaganje vijenaca na grobu, kao i sveta misa zadušnica za pok. Antu Franičevića, jednog od ukupno šest poginulih branitelja s Hvara u Domovinskom ratu.

Nakon što su splitsko-dalmatinski župan Blaženko Boban (HDZ) i njegov zamjenik Ante Šošić (HDZ), u društvu Ivana Slavića (HDZ), načelnika općine Sućuraj, posjetili gradilište novog trajektnog pristaništa u najistočnijem hvarskom mjestu, sada će se operacionalizirati važna odluka Općinskog vijeća.

Prema tom dokumentu, luka će nositi ime Ante Franičevića, poginulog branitelja iz redova Hrvatske ratne mornarice, koji je posmrtno odlikovan Ordenom Petra Zrinjskog i Frana Krste Frankopana te mu je dodijeljen čin kapetana korvete.

Podsjetimo, u Sućurju se gradi projekt vrijedan 30 milijuna kuna koji Europska unija sufinancira s 21 milijun kuna, a ostatak novca osigurala je Lučka uprava Splitsko-dalmatinske županije.

Dinamika izvođenja radova sporija je od zacrtane jer je Domagoj Maroević (HDZ), ravnatelj regionalne ustanove, u prvom kvartalu 2019. najavljivao da će realizacija projekta započeti već u svibnju te godine i da će biti okončana u roku od dvije godine.
