Od 12 i pol tisuća ukrajinskih izbjeglica u Hrvatskoj, u Korenici boravi njih 250-ero. Poznati lički ugostitelj Željko Orešković Macola u svom hotelu smjestio je oko 170 uglavnom žena i djece, a u svojim drvenim kućama za odmor njih još 80-ak
Neke od njih već je i zaposlio, a one su Ličane već osvojile svojim receptima. Ukrajinski boršč postao je lički boršč, otkako su se dvije ukrajinske kuharice, izbjegle iz ratne zone, jučer zaposlile u kuhinji hotelskog restorana u Korenici, javlja RTL.
"Kuhar kuhara razumije. Razumije. Kupus znaju, krumpir znaju, mrkva znaju. Znači da sve znaju", kazala je nova zaposlenica Macole Zlata Ivanča iz Kijeva,
"Volim raditi. Pokušavam naučiti kolege kuhati ukrajinska jela, a ja učim kuhati hrvatska", kazala je njezina kolegica Olga Borisčik iz Sumija u Ukrajini.

Macola ovoga puta nije želio pred kameru, ali njegovo osoblje zato rado hvali nove kolegice.
"Mislim da su se jako lijepo uklopile ovdje s nama. Ono što i ne znamo, malo nam pomogne Google. Jako su vrijedne, puno nam pomažu u poslu", kazala je Snježana Anastasovski, konobarica u hotelu u Korenici.
Okus kuhane heljde i boršča - juhe s ciklom, kupusom i mesom - mnogima je sada jedini dodir s domovinom.
„Boršč i heljda su tradicionalna ukrajinska jela i ljudima koji su smješteni u ovom hotelu jako puno nedostaju jer doma često jedu", kazala je Svetlana Halic iz Ukrajine.

Ksenia, koja pomaže s prevođenjem, želi se vratiti u rodni Harkiv, ali dok čeka, kaže, želi biti korisna.
"Hrvatska je imala problem s ratom ranih ’90-tih i ovi ljudi znaju u kakvom smo problemu i kako se mi osjećamo u ovoj situaciji", rekla je za RTL Ksenia Proskurina iz Harkiva.
U Korenici je 60-ak djece već krenulo u školu, a u hotelu će zaposliti i odgojiteljicu jer igraonicu za najmlađe su već uredili.
"Maloprije sam čuo u razgovoru s gospođama ovdje da su neke iz Mariupolja, neke iz Harkiva, neke iz Kijeva, da su njihovi stanovi i kuće porušeni, granatirani, da nemaju se kuda vratiti i one će sigurno naći mogućnost raditi ovdje neko vrijeme", rekao je Damir Trut, šef Ravnateljstva Civilne zaštite
A posao će, kažu u Lici, lako naći. Ako ne u Korenici, onda na Plitvičkim jezerima ili u drugim mjestima koja se bave turizmom, a imaju malo domaćeg stanovništva.

Od 12 i pol tisuća ukrajinskih izbjeglica u Hrvatskoj, u Korenici boravi njih 250-ero. Poznati lički ugostitelj Željko Orešković Macola u svom hotelu smjestio je oko 170 uglavnom žena i djece, a u svojim drvenim kućama za odmor njih još 80-ak
Neke od njih već je i zaposlio, a one su Ličane već osvojile svojim receptima. Ukrajinski boršč postao je lički boršč, otkako su se dvije ukrajinske kuharice, izbjegle iz ratne zone, jučer zaposlile u kuhinji hotelskog restorana u Korenici, javlja RTL.
"Kuhar kuhara razumije. Razumije. Kupus znaju, krumpir znaju, mrkva znaju. Znači da sve znaju", kazala je nova zaposlenica Macole Zlata Ivanča iz Kijeva,
"Volim raditi. Pokušavam naučiti kolege kuhati ukrajinska jela, a ja učim kuhati hrvatska", kazala je njezina kolegica Olga Borisčik iz Sumija u Ukrajini.

Macola ovoga puta nije želio pred kameru, ali njegovo osoblje zato rado hvali nove kolegice.
"Mislim da su se jako lijepo uklopile ovdje s nama. Ono što i ne znamo, malo nam pomogne Google. Jako su vrijedne, puno nam pomažu u poslu", kazala je Snježana Anastasovski, konobarica u hotelu u Korenici.
Okus kuhane heljde i boršča - juhe s ciklom, kupusom i mesom - mnogima je sada jedini dodir s domovinom.
„Boršč i heljda su tradicionalna ukrajinska jela i ljudima koji su smješteni u ovom hotelu jako puno nedostaju jer doma često jedu", kazala je Svetlana Halic iz Ukrajine.

Ksenia, koja pomaže s prevođenjem, želi se vratiti u rodni Harkiv, ali dok čeka, kaže, želi biti korisna.
"Hrvatska je imala problem s ratom ranih ’90-tih i ovi ljudi znaju u kakvom smo problemu i kako se mi osjećamo u ovoj situaciji", rekla je za RTL Ksenia Proskurina iz Harkiva.
U Korenici je 60-ak djece već krenulo u školu, a u hotelu će zaposliti i odgojiteljicu jer igraonicu za najmlađe su već uredili.
"Maloprije sam čuo u razgovoru s gospođama ovdje da su neke iz Mariupolja, neke iz Harkiva, neke iz Kijeva, da su njihovi stanovi i kuće porušeni, granatirani, da nemaju se kuda vratiti i one će sigurno naći mogućnost raditi ovdje neko vrijeme", rekao je Damir Trut, šef Ravnateljstva Civilne zaštite
A posao će, kažu u Lici, lako naći. Ako ne u Korenici, onda na Plitvičkim jezerima ili u drugim mjestima koja se bave turizmom, a imaju malo domaćeg stanovništva.
