U Kliničkom zavodu za dijagnostičku i intervencijsku radiologiju KBC-a Sestre Milosrdnice po prvi puta u Hrvatskoj i ovom dijelu Europe, učinjen je zahvat Ireverzibilne elektroporacije na dva pacijenta oboljela od karcinoma jetre s razvijenim metastazama, kojima su uništeni tumori.

Pod stručnim vodstvom dr. Luke Novosela i njegovog tima u utorak, 18. listopada, izvedeni su zahvati Ireverzibilne elektroporacije (IRE) metodom ablacije koja ne koristi toplinu za uništavanje tumora, već specifične električne impulse koji uzrokuju odumiranje stanica tzv. apoptozu bez rizika za ostale zdrave okolne strukture, priopćeno je večeras iz KBC-a Sestre milosrdnice.

Glavna prednost ove metode je prirodno odumiranje tumora, putem kojeg tijelo u roku 6 mjeseci samostalno i u potpunosti razgradi tumore te zamjeni novim zdravim tkivom, zbog čega ne ostaje niti ožiljak na organima, istaknuo je ravnatelj KBC-a Sestre milosrdnice, dr. Davor Vagić.

Navedena metoda je potencijalno rješenje za terapiju tumora i metastaza smještenih duboko u jetri, koji su nedostupni kirurgiji i ostalim metodama liječenja. Vrlo često se koristi i u terapiji tumora gušterače i prostate koji su teško dostupni klasičnim operativnim zahvatima, dodaje se u priopćenju.

Pacijenti KBC-a Sestre milosrdnice nad kojima je izveden zahvat Ireverzibilne elektroporacije (IRE), već su idući dan, danas, 19. listopada, bez komplikacija i bolova otpušteni iz bolnice uz nužno daljnje praćenje liječenja bolesti.

Izvedeni zahvat Ireverzibilne elektroporacije (IRE) stručnog tima KBC-a Sestre milosrdnice pratili su i kolege liječnici iz zemalja regije s ciljem edukacije i uvođenja iste i u njihove bolničke centre, rekao je ravnatelj KBC Sestre milosrdnice dr. Vagić.

U Kliničkom zavodu za dijagnostičku i intervencijsku radiologiju KBC-a Sestre Milosrdnice po prvi puta u Hrvatskoj i ovom dijelu Europe, učinjen je zahvat Ireverzibilne elektroporacije na dva pacijenta oboljela od karcinoma jetre s razvijenim metastazama, kojima su uništeni tumori.

Pod stručnim vodstvom dr. Luke Novosela i njegovog tima u utorak, 18. listopada, izvedeni su zahvati Ireverzibilne elektroporacije (IRE) metodom ablacije koja ne koristi toplinu za uništavanje tumora, već specifične električne impulse koji uzrokuju odumiranje stanica tzv. apoptozu bez rizika za ostale zdrave okolne strukture, priopćeno je večeras iz KBC-a Sestre milosrdnice.

Glavna prednost ove metode je prirodno odumiranje tumora, putem kojeg tijelo u roku 6 mjeseci samostalno i u potpunosti razgradi tumore te zamjeni novim zdravim tkivom, zbog čega ne ostaje niti ožiljak na organima, istaknuo je ravnatelj KBC-a Sestre milosrdnice, dr. Davor Vagić.

Navedena metoda je potencijalno rješenje za terapiju tumora i metastaza smještenih duboko u jetri, koji su nedostupni kirurgiji i ostalim metodama liječenja. Vrlo često se koristi i u terapiji tumora gušterače i prostate koji su teško dostupni klasičnim operativnim zahvatima, dodaje se u priopćenju.

Pacijenti KBC-a Sestre milosrdnice nad kojima je izveden zahvat Ireverzibilne elektroporacije (IRE), već su idući dan, danas, 19. listopada, bez komplikacija i bolova otpušteni iz bolnice uz nužno daljnje praćenje liječenja bolesti.

Izvedeni zahvat Ireverzibilne elektroporacije (IRE) stručnog tima KBC-a Sestre milosrdnice pratili su i kolege liječnici iz zemalja regije s ciljem edukacije i uvođenja iste i u njihove bolničke centre, rekao je ravnatelj KBC Sestre milosrdnice dr. Vagić.

U Kliničkom zavodu za dijagnostičku i intervencijsku radiologiju KBC-a Sestre Milosrdnice po prvi puta u Hrvatskoj i ovom dijelu Europe, učinjen je zahvat Ireverzibilne elektroporacije na dva pacijenta oboljela od karcinoma jetre s razvijenim metastazama, kojima su uništeni tumori.

Pod stručnim vodstvom dr. Luke Novosela i njegovog tima u utorak, 18. listopada, izvedeni su zahvati Ireverzibilne elektroporacije (IRE) metodom ablacije koja ne koristi toplinu za uništavanje tumora, već specifične električne impulse koji uzrokuju odumiranje stanica tzv. apoptozu bez rizika za ostale zdrave okolne strukture, priopćeno je večeras iz KBC-a Sestre milosrdnice.

Glavna prednost ove metode je prirodno odumiranje tumora, putem kojeg tijelo u roku 6 mjeseci samostalno i u potpunosti razgradi tumore te zamjeni novim zdravim tkivom, zbog čega ne ostaje niti ožiljak na organima, istaknuo je ravnatelj KBC-a Sestre milosrdnice, dr. Davor Vagić.

Navedena metoda je potencijalno rješenje za terapiju tumora i metastaza smještenih duboko u jetri, koji su nedostupni kirurgiji i ostalim metodama liječenja. Vrlo često se koristi i u terapiji tumora gušterače i prostate koji su teško dostupni klasičnim operativnim zahvatima, dodaje se u priopćenju.

Pacijenti KBC-a Sestre milosrdnice nad kojima je izveden zahvat Ireverzibilne elektroporacije (IRE), već su idući dan, danas, 19. listopada, bez komplikacija i bolova otpušteni iz bolnice uz nužno daljnje praćenje liječenja bolesti.

Izvedeni zahvat Ireverzibilne elektroporacije (IRE) stručnog tima KBC-a Sestre milosrdnice pratili su i kolege liječnici iz zemalja regije s ciljem edukacije i uvođenja iste i u njihove bolničke centre, rekao je ravnatelj KBC Sestre milosrdnice dr. Vagić.
