U Šibeniku između dva rata u zgradi na stijeni uz obalu, gdje je danas upravna zgrada Luke Šibenik, bilo je sjedište poznate kompanije koja je nosila ime "Monte Promina", rudnici ugljena i boksita, Lušić i drug.
Njezin vlasnik Mario Lušić bio je ugledni šibenski gospodarstvenik, društveno angažiran, posebno u šibenskom sportu kao predsjednik Veslačkog i plivačkog kluba "Krka", čiji je član, kao plivač, bio i ovaj novinar.
Sve do kraja sedamdesetih godina, radili su ti rudnici pod Prominom s najboljim kamenim ugljenom i boksitom, rudom za proizvodnju glinice i aluminija u Lozovcu, vlasnika obitelji Ivanović, prve takve tvornice u ovom dijelu Europe. U razdoblju nakon Domovinskoga rata Promina se pročula po pašnjacima, posebno po lovnom i planinarskom turizmu u organizaciji TZ Drniš.
Obnovljen je i moderniziran Planinarski dom, okupljalište planinara i ljubitelja prirode iz cijele Hrvatske. Ondje smo se u više navrata družili prije deset-dvanaest godina kad je Stipe Grcić, pučki pjesnik i ljubitelj prirode iz Badnja, s kojim smo proveli dosta vremena ondje držao sate poezije.
Jednom nam je iz tla vadio rijetke jestive prominske gljive smrče, koje slove kao bolje i od čuvenih tartufa. Umro je prije nekoliko godina.

Iz pravca iza Siverića, brdskim putom može se autom doći do Planinarskoga doma, pa i na sam vrh Promine, što smo i mi jednom učinili. Ondje je prava šuma odašiljača oko kojih zuji ko u kakvom divovskom pčelinjaku, pa se posjetitelji drže podalje, jer se radi o jakom elektromagnetskom zračenju. Ali ono što namjernik gore može doživjeti nad dalekim prostranstvima divljine pod sobom je nezaboravno. Prije samoga vrha mala je zaravan na kojoj je ruševni objekt bivše vojarne JNA, koji bi se mogao obnoviti kao svratište.

Na tom putu podno šumovitog predjela Planinarskog doma nalazi se poznati Točak, izvor pitke vode iz stijene koji nikad ne presuši. Nema onoga tko se tu neće zaustaviti i utažiti žeđ. A na zelenim livadama podno Doma, sjenoviti je predio za predah i odmor u tišini.
Otud se može otići i do groba Đure Ožegovića koji su uredili drniški planinari. Pastir Đuro godinama je živio u trošnoj kolibi poput pustinjaka, i taj kraj nije htio napustiti ni u jeku rata kad su Prominu zauzeli četnici. Umro je 1995. godine. Bio je privržen prirodi na svoj način. I s njom je živio.

U Šibeniku između dva rata u zgradi na stijeni uz obalu, gdje je danas upravna zgrada Luke Šibenik, bilo je sjedište poznate kompanije koja je nosila ime "Monte Promina", rudnici ugljena i boksita, Lušić i drug.
Njezin vlasnik Mario Lušić bio je ugledni šibenski gospodarstvenik, društveno angažiran, posebno u šibenskom sportu kao predsjednik Veslačkog i plivačkog kluba "Krka", čiji je član, kao plivač, bio i ovaj novinar.
Sve do kraja sedamdesetih godina, radili su ti rudnici pod Prominom s najboljim kamenim ugljenom i boksitom, rudom za proizvodnju glinice i aluminija u Lozovcu, vlasnika obitelji Ivanović, prve takve tvornice u ovom dijelu Europe. U razdoblju nakon Domovinskoga rata Promina se pročula po pašnjacima, posebno po lovnom i planinarskom turizmu u organizaciji TZ Drniš.
Obnovljen je i moderniziran Planinarski dom, okupljalište planinara i ljubitelja prirode iz cijele Hrvatske. Ondje smo se u više navrata družili prije deset-dvanaest godina kad je Stipe Grcić, pučki pjesnik i ljubitelj prirode iz Badnja, s kojim smo proveli dosta vremena ondje držao sate poezije.
Jednom nam je iz tla vadio rijetke jestive prominske gljive smrče, koje slove kao bolje i od čuvenih tartufa. Umro je prije nekoliko godina.

Iz pravca iza Siverića, brdskim putom može se autom doći do Planinarskoga doma, pa i na sam vrh Promine, što smo i mi jednom učinili. Ondje je prava šuma odašiljača oko kojih zuji ko u kakvom divovskom pčelinjaku, pa se posjetitelji drže podalje, jer se radi o jakom elektromagnetskom zračenju. Ali ono što namjernik gore može doživjeti nad dalekim prostranstvima divljine pod sobom je nezaboravno. Prije samoga vrha mala je zaravan na kojoj je ruševni objekt bivše vojarne JNA, koji bi se mogao obnoviti kao svratište.

Na tom putu podno šumovitog predjela Planinarskog doma nalazi se poznati Točak, izvor pitke vode iz stijene koji nikad ne presuši. Nema onoga tko se tu neće zaustaviti i utažiti žeđ. A na zelenim livadama podno Doma, sjenoviti je predio za predah i odmor u tišini.
Otud se može otići i do groba Đure Ožegovića koji su uredili drniški planinari. Pastir Đuro godinama je živio u trošnoj kolibi poput pustinjaka, i taj kraj nije htio napustiti ni u jeku rata kad su Prominu zauzeli četnici. Umro je 1995. godine. Bio je privržen prirodi na svoj način. I s njom je živio.
