U pomorskim je krugovima toplo dočekana vijest kako je grad Rijeka, nakon što je imenovan skrbnikom, iskoristio pravo prvokupa i postao vlasnikom najslavnijeg broda Titove ere “Galeba”. Riječki gradski oci „Galeba“ će obnoviti i pretvoriti ga u ploveći muzej.

Ako je suditi po riječkom primjeru, teško bi se moglo reći da je Split grad na moru. Više grad pored mora. Naime, kao što je poznato, Split se može podičiti kako je u njegovoj luci gotovo cijeli život proveo jedini preostali brod Austro-Ugarske Monarhije, carska jahta Habsburgovaca “Istranka”.

Nemarom jednog poduzetnika te nebrigom grada i države, carska jahta više od dvije godine leži na morskom dnu ispred obale Vranjica. Niti jedan prijašnji saziv gradske vlade nije pokazivao ni trunku zanimanja za carski brod koji je spao na prosjački štap.

Mišljenja struke

Od Nansi Ivanišević, savjetnice splitskoga gradonačelnika za prosvjetu i kulturu, teško se može očekivati da ispravi godine nebrige Grada za “Istranku”, ali savjetnica ne miruje.

- Gradska uprava ima dobru volju i napravit će sve što je u njezinoj moći. Otvoreni smo za konkretne prijedloge, mišljenje struke i sve ostale informacije o potrebnim iznosima za rješavanje slučaja „Istranka”. O ovoj temi zatražit ćemo mišljenje Hrvatskog pomorskog muzeja - kazala nam je savjetnica Ivanišević, najavljujući tako inicijativu za spas slavnog broda na čijoj su palubi, nakon sarajevskog atentata, prevezena mrtva tijela princa Ferdinanda Habsburškog i supruge mu Sofije.

Nedugo poslije, u salonima “Istranke” dogovoren je i početak Prvog svjetskog rata.

U pomorskim je krugovima toplo dočekana vijest kako je grad Rijeka, nakon što je imenovan skrbnikom, iskoristio pravo prvokupa i postao vlasnikom najslavnijeg broda Titove ere “Galeba”. Riječki gradski oci „Galeba“ će obnoviti i pretvoriti ga u ploveći muzej.

Ako je suditi po riječkom primjeru, teško bi se moglo reći da je Split grad na moru. Više grad pored mora. Naime, kao što je poznato, Split se može podičiti kako je u njegovoj luci gotovo cijeli život proveo jedini preostali brod Austro-Ugarske Monarhije, carska jahta Habsburgovaca “Istranka”.

Nemarom jednog poduzetnika te nebrigom grada i države, carska jahta više od dvije godine leži na morskom dnu ispred obale Vranjica. Niti jedan prijašnji saziv gradske vlade nije pokazivao ni trunku zanimanja za carski brod koji je spao na prosjački štap.

Mišljenja struke

Od Nansi Ivanišević, savjetnice splitskoga gradonačelnika za prosvjetu i kulturu, teško se može očekivati da ispravi godine nebrige Grada za “Istranku”, ali savjetnica ne miruje.

- Gradska uprava ima dobru volju i napravit će sve što je u njezinoj moći. Otvoreni smo za konkretne prijedloge, mišljenje struke i sve ostale informacije o potrebnim iznosima za rješavanje slučaja „Istranka”. O ovoj temi zatražit ćemo mišljenje Hrvatskog pomorskog muzeja - kazala nam je savjetnica Ivanišević, najavljujući tako inicijativu za spas slavnog broda na čijoj su palubi, nakon sarajevskog atentata, prevezena mrtva tijela princa Ferdinanda Habsburškog i supruge mu Sofije.

Nedugo poslije, u salonima “Istranke” dogovoren je i početak Prvog svjetskog rata.
