Nekadašnji trener nogometaša Osijeka 36-godišnji Dino Skender u petak je postao novim strategom prve momčadi ljubljanske Olimpije, objavio je slovenski prvoligaš na svom internetskom portalu. 

Skender je u prošloj sezoni došao na klupu Osijeka kao zamjena za Zorana Zekića i doveo Osijek do 3. mjesta, da bi otišao s mjesta prvog trenera nakon manje od šest mjeseci koje je proveo u toj ulozi, ali se zadržao u Osijeku kao voditelj nogometne škole.

Do kraja prvenstva ostalo je osam kola, a u prve tri utakmice nastavka 'zmajčeki' su ostvarili jednu pobjedu i dva poraza. Olimpija je i dalje na vrhu ljestvice, ali je njezina prednost pred drugoplasiranim Mariborom pala na svega jedan bod. Stoga je predsjednik Milan Mandarić odlučio smijeniti dosadašnjeg trenera Safeta Hadžića i dovesti mladog hrvatskog stručnjaka.

"Za mene je to velika čast i izazov. Zahvalan sam predsjedniku Mandariću što mi je ponudio priliku da se dokažem i opravdam povjerenje. Olimpija je veliko ime u slovenskom nogometu, klub ima mnogo dobrih nogometaša i možemo prvenstvo završiti na najbolji način", izjavio je u priopćenju Dino Skender koji će već u nedjelju imati premijeru na klupi Olimpije, kad će Ljubljančani gostovati u Domžalama.

"S odgovarajućim psihološkim pristupom i napornim radom nastojat ćemo što prije izaći iz privremene krize do koje je došlo spletom okolnosti", dodao je Skender.

Predsjednik Olimpije je najavio da od novog trenera očekuje uspješan završetak ovog prvenstva, rad na razvoju nogometne škole i afirmaciju mladih nada.

"Novog trenera čeka mnogo posla. Klub će ga podupirati i dati mu odgovarajuće uvjete za rad. Momčad treba što prije vratiti u normalnu natjecateljsku formu i nastaviti pobjednički put do kraja prvenstva, a onda se pripremiti i za europska natjecanja", izjavio je Milan Mandarić.

Uz Skenedera su u Ljubljanu doputovali njegov pomoćnik Matko Novak i kondicijski trener Ivan Zorić.

Posljednji hrvatski stručnjak koji je vodio Olimpiju bio je današnji izbornik hrvatske mlade reprezentacije Igor Bišćan pod čijim su vodstvom 'zmajčeki' 2018. osvojili dvostruku krunu - naslov prvaka i slovenski Kup.

Nekadašnji trener nogometaša Osijeka 36-godišnji Dino Skender u petak je postao novim strategom prve momčadi ljubljanske Olimpije, objavio je slovenski prvoligaš na svom internetskom portalu. 

Skender je u prošloj sezoni došao na klupu Osijeka kao zamjena za Zorana Zekića i doveo Osijek do 3. mjesta, da bi otišao s mjesta prvog trenera nakon manje od šest mjeseci koje je proveo u toj ulozi, ali se zadržao u Osijeku kao voditelj nogometne škole.

Do kraja prvenstva ostalo je osam kola, a u prve tri utakmice nastavka 'zmajčeki' su ostvarili jednu pobjedu i dva poraza. Olimpija je i dalje na vrhu ljestvice, ali je njezina prednost pred drugoplasiranim Mariborom pala na svega jedan bod. Stoga je predsjednik Milan Mandarić odlučio smijeniti dosadašnjeg trenera Safeta Hadžića i dovesti mladog hrvatskog stručnjaka.

"Za mene je to velika čast i izazov. Zahvalan sam predsjedniku Mandariću što mi je ponudio priliku da se dokažem i opravdam povjerenje. Olimpija je veliko ime u slovenskom nogometu, klub ima mnogo dobrih nogometaša i možemo prvenstvo završiti na najbolji način", izjavio je u priopćenju Dino Skender koji će već u nedjelju imati premijeru na klupi Olimpije, kad će Ljubljančani gostovati u Domžalama.

"S odgovarajućim psihološkim pristupom i napornim radom nastojat ćemo što prije izaći iz privremene krize do koje je došlo spletom okolnosti", dodao je Skender.

Predsjednik Olimpije je najavio da od novog trenera očekuje uspješan završetak ovog prvenstva, rad na razvoju nogometne škole i afirmaciju mladih nada.

"Novog trenera čeka mnogo posla. Klub će ga podupirati i dati mu odgovarajuće uvjete za rad. Momčad treba što prije vratiti u normalnu natjecateljsku formu i nastaviti pobjednički put do kraja prvenstva, a onda se pripremiti i za europska natjecanja", izjavio je Milan Mandarić.

Uz Skenedera su u Ljubljanu doputovali njegov pomoćnik Matko Novak i kondicijski trener Ivan Zorić.

Posljednji hrvatski stručnjak koji je vodio Olimpiju bio je današnji izbornik hrvatske mlade reprezentacije Igor Bišćan pod čijim su vodstvom 'zmajčeki' 2018. osvojili dvostruku krunu - naslov prvaka i slovenski Kup.

Nekadašnji trener nogometaša Osijeka 36-godišnji Dino Skender u petak je postao novim strategom prve momčadi ljubljanske Olimpije, objavio je slovenski prvoligaš na svom internetskom portalu. 

Skender je u prošloj sezoni došao na klupu Osijeka kao zamjena za Zorana Zekića i doveo Osijek do 3. mjesta, da bi otišao s mjesta prvog trenera nakon manje od šest mjeseci koje je proveo u toj ulozi, ali se zadržao u Osijeku kao voditelj nogometne škole.

Do kraja prvenstva ostalo je osam kola, a u prve tri utakmice nastavka 'zmajčeki' su ostvarili jednu pobjedu i dva poraza. Olimpija je i dalje na vrhu ljestvice, ali je njezina prednost pred drugoplasiranim Mariborom pala na svega jedan bod.
