Barcelona je prvi put nakon 18 godina ostala bez osmine finala Lige prvaka, a nakon čak 21 godine ispali su u skupini (u sezoni 2003./04. nisu ni igrali elitno natjecanje). 

I prije gostovanja kod Bayerna u srijedu, bilo je jasno da je pred Kataloncima nemoguća misija, a Bavarci su još jednom potvrdili superiornost i glatko slavili s 3:0. Benfica je to iskoristila, pobjedom protiv kijevskog Dynama preskočivši Barcelonu.

Pod Xavijem bez gola u tri od pet utakmica

Otkaz Ronaldu Koemanu i dolazak na klupu klupske legende Xavija nije popravio situaciju. Napad ‘blaugrane’ je sterilan, u pet susreta pod Xavijevim vodstvom Barca u čak tri nije zabila gol. Jedan od njih je i onaj domaći s Benficom u predzadnjem kolu Lige prvaka, koji je završio 0:0. Katalonci su već tada propustili priliku za prolaz u osminu finala, poslije je bilo teško i nemoguće ‘vaditi’ se na Bayernu.

No, čini se da je Barcinoj svlačionici zavladala apatija. Katalonski dnevnik Sport piše kako je Xavi na poluvremenu utakmice na Allianz Areni, kada je Bayern vodio s 2:0, bijesno vikao i igračima rekao: ‘Neki od vas ne razumiju što znači igrati za Barcelonu!’ Nije pomoglo, ‘blaugrana’ se u nastavku nije trgnula, te je Bayern do kraja zabio još jedan gol. Poslije utakmice Xavi je bio tiši, svjestan velikih problema u momačadi i potrebe za odlučnim promjenama.

- Trener je svjestan poteškoća s kojima se klub suočava, ali ipak se nadao borbenijoj momčadi u Münchenu. Stručni stožer je uvjeren da se što prije moraju donijeti važne odluke i to je poručio upravi. Ako ispadanje iz Lige prvaka može nečemu koristiti, onda je to odlučnost u donošenju promjena, koje je do sada nedostajalo - piše Sport.

Kao što se zna, Barcelona je u velikim financijskim problemima, uslijed kojih ljetos nije mogao biti produžen ugovor Leu Messiju, koji je otišao u PSG. No, Messijev odlazak samo je zabetonirao krizu koja nije od jučer. Katalonci već nekoliko sezona doživljavaju teške poraze u Ligi prvaka, što nije slučajnost. Svi se najviše sjećaju nevjerojatnog poraza 2:8 od Bayerna u četvrtfinalu 2020. godine. Međutim, još 2017. u osmini finala ih je i PSG na Parku prinčeva razbio s 4:0, što su poslije, i uz pomoć sudaca, ipak nadoknadili sa 6:1.

Važne odluke u prijelaznom roku

No, spomenutih 0:4 na Parku prinčeva bio je prvi od čak deset poraza Barcelone s tri ili više golova razlike u elitnom natjecanju u zadnjih pet godina. Nakon teških debakala Barca je ispadala od Juventusa, Rome, Liverpoola, PSG-a. Ove sezone su samo u skupini čak triput poraženi 0:3 (dvaput Bayern i jednom Benfica), a kad je tako, onda je teško očekivati prolaz. Zanimljivo, tih deset poraza su i jedini koje su Katalonci doživjeli u Ligi prvaka u posljednjih deset godina. Dakle, ako gube, gube uvjerljivo, pa i sramotno. Kad kola krenu nizbrdo, očito ih nema tko zaustaviti.

Stanje ravnodušnosti u svlačionici na Camp Nouu pokazuje i ponašanje braniča Clementa Lengleta nakon ispadanja u Münchenu. Francuz se na terenu smijao u razgovoru s Robertom Lewandowskim, činilo se da ga eliminacija iz Lige prvaka nije osobito potresla. Na proljeće će Barcelona morati igrati Europsku ligu, a prijeti im da sljedeće sezone niti ne izbore Ligu prvaka, jer tek su sedmi u prvenstvu, četvrto mjesto bježi im šest bodova.

Pred Xavijem je puno posla, a koje su to ‘važne odluke’ o kojima piše Sport, mogli bismo saznati već za vrijeme siječanjskog prijelaznog roka. Hoće li se klub osloniti na svoje mladiće iz La Masije, a zahvaliti se nekim skupim strancima koji na terenu ne opravdavaju svoje plaće?

I prije gostovanja kod Bayerna u srijedu, bilo je jasno da je pred Kataloncima nemoguća misija, a Bavarci su još jednom potvrdili superiornost i glatko slavili s 3:0. Benfica je to iskoristila, pobjedom protiv kijevskog Dynama preskočivši Barcelonu.

Pod Xavijem bez gola u tri od pet utakmica

Otkaz Ronaldu Koemanu i dolazak na klupu klupske legende Xavija nije popravio situaciju. Napad ‘blaugrane’ je sterilan, u pet susreta pod Xavijevim vodstvom Barca u čak tri nije zabila gol. Jedan od njih je i onaj domaći s Benficom u predzadnjem kolu Lige prvaka, koji je završio 0:0. Katalonci su već tada propustili priliku za prolaz u osminu finala, poslije je bilo teško i nemoguće ‘vaditi’ se na Bayernu.

No, čini se da je Barcinoj svlačionici zavladala apatija. Katalonski dnevnik Sport piše kako je Xavi na poluvremenu utakmice na Allianz Areni, kada je Bayern vodio s 2:0, bijesno vikao i igračima rekao: ‘Neki od vas ne razumiju što znači igrati za Barcelonu!’ Nije pomoglo, ‘blaugrana’ se u nastavku nije trgnula, te je Bayern do kraja zabio još jedan gol. Poslije utakmice Xavi je bio tiši, svjestan velikih problema u momačadi i potrebe za odlučnim promjenama.

- Trener je svjestan poteškoća s kojima se klub suočava, ali ipak se nadao borbenijoj momčadi u Münchenu. Stručni stožer je uvjeren da se što prije moraju donijeti važne odluke i to je poručio upravi. Ako ispadanje iz Lige prvaka može nečemu koristiti, onda je to odlučnost u donošenju promjena, koje je do sada nedostajalo - piše Sport.

Kao što se zna, Barcelona je u velikim financijskim problemima, uslijed kojih ljetos nije mogao biti produžen ugovor Leu Messiju, koji je otišao u PSG. No, Messijev odlazak samo je zabetonirao krizu koja nije od jučer. Katalonci već nekoliko sezona doživljavaju teške poraze u Ligi prvaka, što nije slučajnost. Svi se najviše sjećaju nevjerojatnog poraza 2:8 od Bayerna u četvrtfinalu 2020. godine. Međutim, još 2017. u osmini finala ih je i PSG na Parku prinčeva razbio s 4:0, što su poslije, i uz pomoć sudaca, ipak nadoknadili sa 6:1.

Važne odluke u prijelaznom roku

No, spomenutih 0:4 na Parku prinčeva bio je prvi od čak deset poraza Barcelone s tri ili više golova razlike u elitnom natjecanju u zadnjih pet godina. Nakon teških debakala Barca je ispadala od Juventusa, Rome, Liverpoola, PSG-a. Ove sezone su samo u skupini čak triput poraženi 0:3 (dvaput Bayern i jednom Benfica), a kad je tako, onda je teško očekivati prolaz. Zanimljivo, tih deset poraza su i jedini koje su Katalonci doživjeli u Ligi prvaka u posljednjih deset godina. Dakle, ako gube, gube uvjerljivo, pa i sramotno. Kad kola krenu nizbrdo, očito ih nema tko zaustaviti.

Stanje ravnodušnosti u svlačionici na Camp Nouu pokazuje i ponašanje braniča Clementa Lengleta nakon ispadanja u Münchenu. Francuz se na terenu smijao u razgovoru s Robertom Lewandowskim, činilo se da ga eliminacija iz Lige prvaka nije osobito potresla. Na proljeće će Barcelona morati igrati Europsku ligu, a prijeti im da sljedeće sezone niti ne izbore Ligu prvaka, jer tek su sedmi u prvenstvu, četvrto mjesto bježi im šest bodova.

Pred Xavijem je puno posla, a koje su to ‘važne odluke’ o kojima piše Sport, mogli bismo saznati već za vrijeme siječanjskog prijelaznog roka. Hoće li se klub osloniti na svoje mladiće iz La Masije, a zahvaliti se nekim skupim strancima koji na terenu ne opravdavaju svoje plaće?

Barcelona je prvi put nakon 18 godina ostala bez osmine finala Lige prvaka, a nakon čak 21 godine ispali su u skupini (u sezoni 2003./04. nisu ni igrali elitno natjecanje).
