Dva zadarska pomorca, kapetan i član posade tunolovca "Marielle", Mario Radulić i Marko Birkić, nedavno su doživjeli nešto što će doživotno pamtiti. Na Tihom oceanu spasili su dva ribara koji su u ribarskom brodiću plutali čak 30 dana, objavio je HRT.
Pozicija - usred ničega, u međunarodnim vodama zapadnog Pacifika. Australija je, primjerice, od ondje udaljena više od 3000 kilometra. Baš su tamo dva ribara u brodiću dugom tri metra plutala 30 dana. Pili su kišnicu i jeli sirovu ribu. Scenarij je to kojeg se ne bi posramio ni američki blockbuster. Na obzoru nikakvog broda nije bilo.
Kako život ipak piše najljepše romane, otočani iz države Kiribati spašeni su. Bili su iscrpljeni, izgladnjeli, dehidrirani i izgorjeli od sunca, ali živi.

- Koliko dana ste vani?
- 30 dana! 30 dana!, odgovorili su.
Motor im se pokvario prije 30 dana, a struja ih odnijela 300 milja od njihova otoka Nonouti.
- Tokom traženja ribe, osmatrač na jarbolu je primijetio nešto na velikoj udaljenosti. Okrenuli smo kurs prema tamo. Kad smo se približili imali smo što primijetiti - dvoje ljudi koji su bili jako iscrpljeni i na izmaku snaga, kazao je Mario Radulić, zapovjednik broda "Marielle".
Jedan su brod vidjeli četvrti dan od kvara, ali on ih nije uočio. Njihov mali brod prenizak je bio da ga radar otkrije.
- Mislili smo da smo vrlo blizu smrti, ja i moj prijatelj u malom brodu, rekao je Etuati Rabaere s Kiribatija.
- Srećom, mi smo bili na pravom mjestu u pravo vrijeme. U ovako lošim vremenskim uvjetima koji vladaju Pacifikom, šanse za preživljavanje su ravne nuli, rekao je Radulić za HRT.
Morski vukovi smatraju da ih je spasilo to što je kišilo posljednjih 15-ak dana na Pacifiku pa ih je to održalo na životu. Kad su se popeli na palubu tunolovca, vodu i hranu morali su im davati pomalo. Sada ih voze doma. Veliko postignuće za 21-članu posade broda Marielle, jednog Meksikanca, sedam Filipinaca, 11 Mikronežana i dva Hrvata - Zadranina, kapetana Marija Radulića i člana posade Marka Birkića.

Dva zadarska pomorca, kapetan i član posade tunolovca "Marielle", Mario Radulić i Marko Birkić, nedavno su doživjeli nešto što će doživotno pamtiti. Na Tihom oceanu spasili su dva ribara koji su u ribarskom brodiću plutali čak 30 dana, objavio je HRT.
Pozicija - usred ničega, u međunarodnim vodama zapadnog Pacifika. Australija je, primjerice, od ondje udaljena više od 3000 kilometra. Baš su tamo dva ribara u brodiću dugom tri metra plutala 30 dana. Pili su kišnicu i jeli sirovu ribu. Scenarij je to kojeg se ne bi posramio ni američki blockbuster. Na obzoru nikakvog broda nije bilo.
Kako život ipak piše najljepše romane, otočani iz države Kiribati spašeni su. Bili su iscrpljeni, izgladnjeli, dehidrirani i izgorjeli od sunca, ali živi.

- Koliko dana ste vani?
- 30 dana! 30 dana!, odgovorili su.
Motor im se pokvario prije 30 dana, a struja ih odnijela 300 milja od njihova otoka Nonouti.
- Tokom traženja ribe, osmatrač na jarbolu je primijetio nešto na velikoj udaljenosti. Okrenuli smo kurs prema tamo. Kad smo se približili imali smo što primijetiti - dvoje ljudi koji su bili jako iscrpljeni i na izmaku snaga, kazao je Mario Radulić, zapovjednik broda "Marielle".
Jedan su brod vidjeli četvrti dan od kvara, ali on ih nije uočio. Njihov mali brod prenizak je bio da ga radar otkrije.
- Mislili smo da smo vrlo blizu smrti, ja i moj prijatelj u malom brodu, rekao je Etuati Rabaere s Kiribatija.
- Srećom, mi smo bili na pravom mjestu u pravo vrijeme. U ovako lošim vremenskim uvjetima koji vladaju Pacifikom, šanse za preživljavanje su ravne nuli, rekao je Radulić za HRT.
Morski vukovi smatraju da ih je spasilo to što je kišilo posljednjih 15-ak dana na Pacifiku pa ih je to održalo na životu. Kad su se popeli na palubu tunolovca, vodu i hranu morali su im davati pomalo. Sada ih voze doma. Veliko postignuće za 21-članu posade broda Marielle, jednog Meksikanca, sedam Filipinaca, 11 Mikronežana i dva Hrvata - Zadranina, kapetana Marija Radulića i člana posade Marka Birkića.
