Silovali su je i pretukli više od 20 puta, ali ona ne odustaje! Čak ni u trenucima kad se bori za život. Romana Taylor (52), prva transrodna osoba u Hrvatskoj, koja je prije promjene spola u javnosti bila poznata kao modni dizajner Robantico (njegove muze bile su Severina, Josipa Lisac, Ivana Banfić, Maja Blagadan, Massimo...), krajem prošle godine saznala je da ima rak.

- Otišla sam na ultrazvuk abdomena i isti su dan došli nalazi kada mi je liječnik priopćio da imam dva zloćudna tumora na jetri, oba su velika osam milimetara, kaže nam Romana koju idući tjedan čeka magnetna rezonanca kako bi se ustanovilo je li se rak proširio, a potom ide i na operaciju.

Zbog svega noćima ne spava, sanja kako umire, nema mira... Počela je piti antidepresive i redovito razgovarati sa psihijatrima. Veliki problem je i to što je tijekom odrastanja u rodnom Kominu pokraj Metkovića radeći u jednoj tvornici oboljela od azbestoze s kojom se bori cijeli život.

- Jako sam uplašena, još uvijek sam u šoku. Pala sam u depresiju, neprestano plačem, ali trudim se ostati pozitivna. Ne smijem se predati i pasti jer onda sam gotova. Ne odustajem od sebe! Bojim se smrti, ali borit ću se do samog kraja. Ako se desi – desi. Barem ću umrijeti kao žena. Znam samo da ću otići s osmijehom na licu, govori nam.

Sretna je što su joj u ovom trenutku prijatelji i susjedi u zagrebačkom Podbrežju od velike pomoći, čak i obitelj s kojom nije bila u dobrim odnosima. U velikoj ispovijesti za Slobodnu Dalmaciju prije dvije godine ispričala je svoj proces tranzicije iz muškarca u ženu.

- Bila je to jako bolna operacija koja je trajala više od deset sati. Moj prvi rođendan. Osjećala sam se najsretnije na svijetu. Moja je vagina kao i kod svake druge žene. Na meni se proces tranzicije pokazao savršeno, svi mi liječnici to govore. Oni su bili moja zraka svjetlosti u mračnom tunelu. Dali su mi nadu i vjeru u život. Muškarci se prema meni ponašaju kao prema svakoj drugoj biološkoj ženi, neki mi čak znaju zazviždati kad prođem ulicom i čestitati mi na hrabrosti. Gdje god da dođem, bila to trgovina, banka ili nešto drugo, svi me oslovljavaju s "gospođo", rekla nam je tada.

Silovali su je i pretukli više od 20 puta, ali ona ne odustaje! Čak ni u trenucima kad se bori za život. Romana Taylor (52), prva transrodna osoba u Hrvatskoj, koja je prije promjene spola u javnosti bila poznata kao modni dizajner Robantico (njegove muze bile su Severina, Josipa Lisac, Ivana Banfić, Maja Blagadan, Massimo...), krajem prošle godine saznala je da ima rak.

- Otišla sam na ultrazvuk abdomena i isti su dan došli nalazi kada mi je liječnik priopćio da imam dva zloćudna tumora na jetri, oba su velika osam milimetara, kaže nam Romana koju idući tjedan čeka magnetna rezonanca kako bi se ustanovilo je li se rak proširio, a potom ide i na operaciju.

Zbog svega noćima ne spava, sanja kako umire, nema mira... Počela je piti antidepresive i redovito razgovarati sa psihijatrima. Veliki problem je i to što je tijekom odrastanja u rodnom Kominu pokraj Metkovića radeći u jednoj tvornici oboljela od azbestoze s kojom se bori cijeli život.

- Jako sam uplašena, još uvijek sam u šoku. Pala sam u depresiju, neprestano plačem, ali trudim se ostati pozitivna. Ne smijem se predati i pasti jer onda sam gotova. Ne odustajem od sebe! Bojim se smrti, ali borit ću se do samog kraja. Ako se desi – desi. Barem ću umrijeti kao žena. Znam samo da ću otići s osmijehom na licu, govori nam.

Sretna je što su joj u ovom trenutku prijatelji i susjedi u zagrebačkom Podbrežju od velike pomoći, čak i obitelj s kojom nije bila u dobrim odnosima. U velikoj ispovijesti za Slobodnu Dalmaciju prije dvije godine ispričala je svoj proces tranzicije iz muškarca u ženu.

- Bila je to jako bolna operacija koja je trajala više od deset sati. Moj prvi rođendan. Osjećala sam se najsretnije na svijetu. Moja je vagina kao i kod svake druge žene. Na meni se proces tranzicije pokazao savršeno, svi mi liječnici to govore. Oni su bili moja zraka svjetlosti u mračnom tunelu. Dali su mi nadu i vjeru u život. Muškarci se prema meni ponašaju kao prema svakoj drugoj biološkoj ženi, neki mi čak znaju zazviždati kad prođem ulicom i čestitati mi na hrabrosti. Gdje god da dođem, bila to trgovina, banka ili nešto drugo, svi me oslovljavaju s "gospođo", rekla nam je tada.

Silovali su je i pretukli više od 20 puta, ali ona ne odustaje! Čak ni u trenucima kad se bori za život. Romana Taylor (52), prva transrodna osoba u Hrvatskoj, koja je prije promjene spola u javnosti bila poznata kao modni dizajner Robantico (njegove muze bile su Severina, Josipa Lisac, Ivana Banfić, Maja Blagadan, Massimo...), krajem prošle godine saznala je da ima rak.

- Otišla sam na ultrazvuk abdomena i isti su dan došli nalazi kada mi je liječnik priopćio da imam dva zloćudna tumora na jetri, oba su velika osam milimetara, kaže nam Romana koju idući tjedan čeka magnetna rezonanca kako bi se ustanovilo je li se rak proširio, a potom ide i na operaciju.
