U Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji protiv ospica je cijepljeno tek 75.3 posto djece što ni približno nije dovoljno za stjecanje kolektivnog imuniteta koji bi u slučaju epidemije zaštitio pučanstvo od ove opasne dječje bolesti od koje mogu oboljeti i odrasli.

Podsjetimo, posljednja epidemija ospica bila je prije četiri godine u Dubrovniku nakon čega se povećao broj cijepljenja cjepivom MPR, no stručnjaci smatraju da se o učinkovitoj zaštiti može govoriti tek kada imamo više od 95 posto cijepljenih.

Na području Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije različit je cjepni obuhvat. Tako je najlošije cijepljenje u Pločama gdje je primo vakcinacijom obuhvaćeno tek 47 posto djece, zatim slijede Dubrovnik sa 61.3 posto, Korčula 72 posto cijepljenih MRP cjepivom protiv ospica dok je Metković najbolji sa 81.3 posto.

Virus morbila ima visoki stupanj patogenosti i zaraznosti te postoji opasnost da se bolest proširi na osjetljive osobe one koje nisu bolest preboljele ili se nisu cijepile.

MRP cijepljenje protiv ove bolesti pruža učinkovitu zaštitu, a provodi se prema Programu obveznog cijepljenja, nakon navršenog 12. mjeseca života i kod upisa u prvi razred osnovne škole.

Morbili spadaju među najčešće zarazne bolesti u mnogim područjima svijeta. Vodeći su uzrok smrti male djece među bolestima koje se mogu spriječiti cijepljenjem. Tijekom 2013. godine u zemljama EU/EEA zabilježeno je gotovo 10.000 oboljelih od morbila među necijepljenom populacijom.

Morbili su najkontagioznija zarazna virusna bolest, koja se širi direktnim kapljičnim putem preko kapljica koje izlaze iz nosa ili ždrijela inficirane osobe (kihanjem, slinjenjem, kašljanjem).

Inkubacija bolesti iznosi prosječno 14 dana (7-18 dana), a osoba je zarazna četiri dana prije izbijanja osipa i još 4 dana nakon izbijanja osipa.

Bolest se uglavnom manifestira povišenom tjelesnom temperaturom, konjuktivitisom, hunjavicom, kašljem i karakterističnim makulopapuloznim osipom po koži i bukalnoj sluznici (Koplikove pjege). Od trećeg do sedmog dana bolesti izbija osip, najprije na licu, pa trupu i ekstremitetima, nakon čega se može javiti sitno perutanje kože. Bolest ima teže simptome u odrasloj, nego u dječjoj dobi. Moguće je da se bolest komplicira upalom uha, pluća ili vrlo teškom upalom mozga (subakutni sklerozirajući panencefalitis).

Ospice su opasne za necijepljenu djecu

Stoga epidemiolog županijskog zavoda za javno zdravstvo dr. Miljenko Ljubić poziva roditelje da provjere cjepni status djeteta protiv morbila (ospica). Podsjeća da je procijepljenost djece bila bolja nakon epidemije ospica u Dubrovniku 2018. godine. Naglašava da je riječ o opasnoj i smrtonosnoj bolesti navodeći podatak da je u Srbiji prije nekoliko godina od tri tisuće oboljele djece čak petnaest preminulo.

- Kada se pojavi bolest onda se poveća interes za cijepljenje - ističe dr. Ljubić, naglašavajući da cjepivo protiv ospica ima dugotrajni učinak i da su svi oni koji su se cijepili bez obzira na godine zaštićeni.

Sigurna prevencija bolesti je MRP cijepljenje, koje se redovno provodi kod djeteta s navršenih 12 mjeseci života kod izabranog pedijatra ili školska djeca kod liječnika školske medicine u Zavodu za javno zdravstvo, zaključio je epidemiolog, Ljubić.

U Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji protiv ospica je cijepljeno tek 75.3 posto djece što ni približno nije dovoljno za stjecanje kolektivnog imuniteta koji bi u slučaju epidemije zaštitio pučanstvo od ove opasne dječje bolesti od koje mogu oboljeti i odrasli.

Podsjetimo, posljednja epidemija ospica bila je prije četiri godine u Dubrovniku nakon čega se povećao broj cijepljenja cjepivom MPR, no stručnjaci smatraju da se o učinkovitoj zaštiti može govoriti tek kada imamo više od 95 posto cijepljenih.

Na području Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije različit je cjepni obuhvat. Tako je najlošije cijepljenje u Pločama gdje je primo vakcinacijom obuhvaćeno tek 47 posto djece, zatim slijede Dubrovnik sa 61.3 posto, Korčula 72 posto cijepljenih MRP cjepivom protiv ospica dok je Metković najbolji sa 81.3 posto.

Virus morbila ima visoki stupanj patogenosti i zaraznosti te postoji opasnost da se bolest proširi na osjetljive osobe one koje nisu bolest preboljele ili se nisu cijepile.

MRP cijepljenje protiv ove bolesti pruža učinkovitu zaštitu, a provodi se prema Programu obveznog cijepljenja, nakon navršenog 12. mjeseca života i kod upisa u prvi razred osnovne škole.

Morbili spadaju među najčešće zarazne bolesti u mnogim područjima svijeta. Vodeći su uzrok smrti male djece među bolestima koje se mogu spriječiti cijepljenjem. Tijekom 2013. godine u zemljama EU/EEA zabilježeno je gotovo 10.000 oboljelih od morbila među necijepljenom populacijom.

Morbili su najkontagioznija zarazna virusna bolest, koja se širi direktnim kapljičnim putem preko kapljica koje izlaze iz nosa ili ždrijela inficirane osobe (kihanjem, slinjenjem, kašljanjem).

Inkubacija bolesti iznosi prosječno 14 dana (7-18 dana), a osoba je zarazna četiri dana prije izbijanja osipa i još 4 dana nakon izbijanja osipa.

Bolest se uglavnom manifestira povišenom tjelesnom temperaturom, konjuktivitisom, hunjavicom, kašljem i karakterističnim makulopapuloznim osipom po koži i bukalnoj sluznici (Koplikove pjege). Od trećeg do sedmog dana bolesti izbija osip, najprije na licu, pa trupu i ekstremitetima, nakon čega se može javiti sitno perutanje kože. Bolest ima teže simptome u odrasloj, nego u dječjoj dobi. Moguće je da se bolest komplicira upalom uha, pluća ili vrlo teškom upalom mozga (subakutni sklerozirajući panencefalitis).

Stoga epidemiolog županijskog zavoda za javno zdravstvo dr. Miljenko Ljubić poziva roditelje da provjere cjepni status djeteta protiv morbila (ospica). Podsjeća da je procijepljenost djece bila bolja nakon epidemije ospica u Dubrovniku 2018. godine. Naglašava da je riječ o opasnoj i smrtonosnoj bolesti navodeći podatak da je u Srbiji prije nekoliko godina od tri tisuće oboljele djece čak petnaest preminulo.

- Kada se pojavi bolest onda se poveća interes za cijepljenje - ističe dr. Ljubić, naglašavajući da cjepivo protiv ospica ima dugotrajni učinak i da su svi oni koji su se cijepili bez obzira na godine zaštićeni.

Sigurna prevencija bolesti je MRP cijepljenje, koje se redovno provodi kod djeteta s navršenih 12 mjeseci života kod izabranog pedijatra ili školska djeca kod liječnika školske medicine u Zavodu za javno zdravstvo, zaključio je epidemiolog, Ljubić.
