Negdje je drugdje danas izronio Srđan Vrančić Vrana.

Zaronio je kao i milijun puta dosad u svojim prodorima podmorskim prostranstvima, s jednakom strašću kao što se spuštao niz snijegom obložene padine i, kao i uvijek, našao neki svoj put, piše Jutarnji list.

Jedan od najboljih reportera na ovim prostorima, bez straha je odlazio ondje gdje se ne bi nitko usudio, a svojim objektivom bilježio je ono što nitko nije smio vidjeti. Vrana je bio jedan od istinskih heroja omladinskog tiska u osamdesetima, reporter zbog kojega su zabranjena čak tri lista - Val, Omladinska iskra i Mladina. Uvijek s osmijehom na licu i nevjerojatnom lakoćom svake svoje odluke, Vrana je fotoaparatom i tekstovima oblikovao stvarnost kakvu danas poznajemo i kakve se sjećamo.

Sve što je radio bilo je usmjereno širenju obzora i pomicanju granica. Nije robovao ničemu, pa niti svome fotoaparatu. Kad mu je svojedobno uređaj završio pod kotačima vlaka, nije trepnuo. Pitao sam ga kako može biti tako smiren. Odgovorio mi je: "Pa aparat je tu zbog mene, a ne ja zbog njega."

Sjećam se dana kad je došao u redakciju Vala s nekoliko razvijenih fotografija. Bio sam urednik riječkoga omladinskog magazina i najprije sam ga odbio te uputio na učenje i praksu. Izašao je, ali se odmah vratio i objasnio da njegove fotografije možda nisu tehnički kvalitetne, ali da nitko neće uspjeti snimiti ono što će njemu poći za rukom. Bio je u pravu. I tada i svaki sljedeći put.

Val je zabranjen zbog njegovih reportaža i intervjua krajem osamdesetih na Kosovu, kada je rijetko tko htio otići zaviriti ondje i objektivno izvijestiti što se sprema. Tako je bilo tijekom cijelog njegova radnog vijeka. Taj velemajstor Cropixa nedavno je izvještavao iz Ukrajine.

Svjedočiti istini i prenijeti je čitateljima bila je njegova životna misija.

Prijateljevati s kitovima, morskim psima i golemim ražama bilo je njegovo zadovoljstvo. Bio je i jedan od najboljih svjetskih novinara u skijanju.

Ovaj svijet mu, očito, nije bio dovoljan.

Negdje je drugdje danas izronio Srđan Vrančić Vrana.

Zaronio je kao i milijun puta dosad u svojim prodorima podmorskim prostranstvima, s jednakom strašću kao što se spuštao niz snijegom obložene padine i, kao i uvijek, našao neki svoj put, piše Jutarnji list.

Jedan od najboljih reportera na ovim prostorima, bez straha je odlazio ondje gdje se ne bi nitko usudio, a svojim objektivom bilježio je ono što nitko nije smio vidjeti. Vrana je bio jedan od istinskih heroja omladinskog tiska u osamdesetima, reporter zbog kojega su zabranjena čak tri lista - Val, Omladinska iskra i Mladina. Uvijek s osmijehom na licu i nevjerojatnom lakoćom svake svoje odluke, Vrana je fotoaparatom i tekstovima oblikovao stvarnost kakvu danas poznajemo i kakve se sjećamo.

Sve što je radio bilo je usmjereno širenju obzora i pomicanju granica. Nije robovao ničemu, pa niti svome fotoaparatu. Kad mu je svojedobno uređaj završio pod kotačima vlaka, nije trepnuo. Pitao sam ga kako može biti tako smiren. Odgovorio mi je: "Pa aparat je tu zbog mene, a ne ja zbog njega."

Sjećam se dana kad je došao u redakciju Vala s nekoliko razvijenih fotografija. Bio sam urednik riječkoga omladinskog magazina i najprije sam ga odbio te uputio na učenje i praksu. Izašao je, ali se odmah vratio i objasnio da njegove fotografije možda nisu tehnički kvalitetne, ali da nitko neće uspjeti snimiti ono što će njemu poći za rukom. Bio je u pravu. I tada i svaki sljedeći put.

Val je zabranjen zbog njegovih reportaža i intervjua krajem osamdesetih na Kosovu, kada je rijetko tko htio otići zaviriti ondje i objektivno izvijestiti što se sprema. Tako je bilo tijekom cijelog njegova radnog vijeka. Taj velemajstor Cropixa nedavno je izvještavao iz Ukrajine.

Svjedočiti istini i prenijeti je čitateljima bila je njegova životna misija.

Prijateljevati s kitovima, morskim psima i golemim ražama bilo je njegovo zadovoljstvo. Bio je i jedan od najboljih svjetskih novinara u skijanju.

Ovaj svijet mu, očito, nije bio dovoljan.

Negdje je drugdje danas izronio Srđan Vrančić Vrana.

Zaronio je kao i milijun puta dosad u svojim prodorima podmorskim prostranstvima, s jednakom strašću kao što se spuštao niz snijegom obložene padine i, kao i uvijek, našao neki svoj put, piše Jutarnji list.

Jedan od najboljih reportera na ovim prostorima, bez straha je odlazio ondje gdje se ne bi nitko usudio, a svojim objektivom bilježio je ono što nitko nije smio vidjeti. Vrana je bio jedan od istinskih heroja omladinskog tiska u osamdesetima, reporter zbog kojega su zabranjena čak tri lista - Val, Omladinska iskra i Mladina. Uvijek s osmijehom na licu i nevjerojatnom lakoćom svake svoje odluke, Vrana je fotoaparatom i tekstovima oblikovao stvarnost kakvu danas poznajemo i kakve se sjećamo.

Sve što je radio bilo je usmjereno širenju obzora i pomicanju granica. Nije robovao ničemu, pa niti svome fotoaparatu. Kad mu je svojedobno uređaj završio pod kotačima vlaka, nije trepnuo. Pitao sam ga kako može biti tako smiren. Odgovorio mi je: "Pa aparat je tu zbog mene, a ne ja zbog njega."

Sjećam se dana kad je došao u redakciju Vala s nekoliko razvijenih fotografija. Bio sam urednik riječkoga omladinskog magazina i najprije sam ga odbio te uputio na učenje i praksu. Izašao je, ali se odmah vratio i objasnio da njegove fotografije možda nisu tehnički kvalitetne, ali da nitko neće uspjeti snimiti ono što će njemu poći za rukom. Bio je u pravu. I tada i svaki sljedeći put.

Val je zabranjen zbog njegovih reportaža i intervjua krajem osamdesetih na Kosovu, kada je rijetko tko htio otići zaviriti ondje i objektivno izvijestiti što se sprema. Tako je bilo tijekom cijelog njegova radnog vijeka. Taj velemajstor Cropixa nedavno je izvještavao iz Ukrajine.

Svjedočiti istini i prenijeti je čitateljima bila je njegova životna misija.

Prijateljevati s kitovima, morskim psima i golemim ražama bilo je njegovo zadovoljstvo. Bio je i jedan od najboljih svjetskih novinara u skijanju.

Ovaj svijet mu, očito, nije bio dovoljan.
