Mladoj ženi u Torinu život je spašen u posljednji čas jer ju je doslovce pridavio tumor od 77 kilograma, teži od ostatka njezina tijela, piše Jutarnji list.

Dvostruki operativni zahvat obavljen je u bolnici Molinette u sklopu torinskoga Grada zdravlja. "U literaturi nije naveden nijedan presedan odstranjivanja tumorske mase slične težine", piše u internetskoj obznani Grada zdravlja (na kojoj temeljimo ovu vijest): "Tumor je ispunio sav trbuh pacijentice popevši se sve do pluća, tako da joj je sprečavao disanje."

Prije nekoliko sedmica žena je stigla u hitnu pomoć, žaleći se da ne uspijeva normalno disati. Dijagnoza je odmah pokazala da je stanje veoma teško i da joj prijeti smrt zbog pritiska droba i na pluća i na trbušne organe.

Žena je, pišu dalje, spašena dvostrukom kirurškom intervencijom. Prvo je intubirana te joj je tako omogućena mehanička ventilacija pluća odmah na odjelu za reanimaciju hitne pomoći. Prvi hitan zahvat na Hitnoj kirurgiji obavio je kirurg Ezio Falletto. On je iz pacijentičine trbušne šupljine iscrpio 52 litre tekuće tvari. Ta je drenaža ciste omogućila da pacijenticu ekstubiraju i da ona tako preživi prvu, kritičnu fazu.

Nakon nekoliko dana je na Drugome sveučilišnome kirurškom odjelu kirurg Francesco Moro obavio delikatan frontalni zahvat kojim je u komadu odstranjen cistoadenom jajnika mase otprilike 25 kilograma. Intervencija je bila uspješna, pa je mlada pacijentica nakon četiri dana prebačena na Odjel dijetetike i prehrane, a zatim otpuštena na kućnu njegu.

Kao što je poznato iz medicinske literature, cista jajnika je nakupina tekućine unutar tanke opne u unutrašnjosti jajnika. Ciste se redovito stvaraju u periodu ovulacije, iz Graafovih folikula, i zatim opet povlače. Postoje i trajne ciste, često uslijed endometrioze, onda dermoidne ciste nastale od nazočnih matičnih stanica, a onda i, najrjeđe, cistoadenomi. U manjem broju slučajeva cistoadenom može preći u maligni cistoadenokarcinom.

Budući da je cistoadenom često moguće držati pod kontrolom konzervativno, medikamentima, rijetki su slučajevi kada je nužno kirurško odstranjivanje, a posve je izuzetno da dostigne tako čudovišnu dimenziju kao u Torinu. Također je posve nejasno, jer o tome nema izravne vijesti, je li se pacijentica obratila liječnicima i ranije, kad je opazila kako fizički buja, i jesu li oni, možda, propustili reagirati prije negoli joj je život bio ugrožen, objavio je Jutarnji list.

Mladoj ženi u Torinu život je spašen u posljednji čas jer ju je doslovce pridavio tumor od 77 kilograma, teži od ostatka njezina tijela, piše Jutarnji list.

Dvostruki operativni zahvat obavljen je u bolnici Molinette u sklopu torinskoga Grada zdravlja. "U literaturi nije naveden nijedan presedan odstranjivanja tumorske mase slične težine", piše u internetskoj obznani Grada zdravlja (na kojoj temeljimo ovu vijest): "Tumor je ispunio sav trbuh pacijentice popevši se sve do pluća, tako da joj je sprečavao disanje."

Prije nekoliko sedmica žena je stigla u hitnu pomoć, žaleći se da ne uspijeva normalno disati. Dijagnoza je odmah pokazala da je stanje veoma teško i da joj prijeti smrt zbog pritiska droba i na pluća i na trbušne organe.

Žena je, pišu dalje, spašena dvostrukom kirurškom intervencijom. Prvo je intubirana te joj je tako omogućena mehanička ventilacija pluća odmah na odjelu za reanimaciju hitne pomoći. Prvi hitan zahvat na Hitnoj kirurgiji obavio je kirurg Ezio Falletto. On je iz pacijentičine trbušne šupljine iscrpio 52 litre tekuće tvari. Ta je drenaža ciste omogućila da pacijenticu ekstubiraju i da ona tako preživi prvu, kritičnu fazu.

Nakon nekoliko dana je na Drugome sveučilišnome kirurškom odjelu kirurg Francesco Moro obavio delikatan frontalni zahvat kojim je u komadu odstranjen cistoadenom jajnika mase otprilike 25 kilograma. Intervencija je bila uspješna, pa je mlada pacijentica nakon četiri dana prebačena na Odjel dijetetike i prehrane, a zatim otpuštena na kućnu njegu.

Kao što je poznato iz medicinske literature, cista jajnika je nakupina tekućine unutar tanke opne u unutrašnjosti jajnika. Ciste se redovito stvaraju u periodu ovulacije, iz Graafovih folikula, i zatim opet povlače. Postoje i trajne ciste, često uslijed endometrioze, onda dermoidne ciste nastale od nazočnih matičnih stanica, a onda i, najrjeđe, cistoadenomi. U manjem broju slučajeva cistoadenom može preći u maligni cistoadenokarcinom.

Budući da je cistoadenom često moguće držati pod kontrolom konzervativno, medikamentima, rijetki su slučajevi kada je nužno kirurško odstranjivanje, a posve je izuzetno da dostigne tako čudovišnu dimenziju kao u Torinu. Mladoj ženi u Torinu život je spašen u posljednji čas jer ju je doslovce pridavio tumor od 77 kilograma, teži od ostatka njezina tijela, piše Jutarnji list.

Dvostruki operativni zahvat obavljen je u bolnici Molinette u sklopu torinskoga Grada zdravlja. "U literaturi nije naveden nijedan presedan odstranjivanja tumorske mase slične težine", piše u internetskoj obznani Grada zdravlja (na kojoj temeljimo ovu vijest): "Tumor je ispunio sav trbuh pacijentice popevši se sve do pluća, tako da joj je sprečavao disanje."

Prije nekoliko sedmica žena je stigla u hitnu pomoć, žaleći se da ne uspijeva normalno disati. Dijagnoza je odmah pokazala da je stanje veoma teško i da joj prijeti smrt zbog pritiska droba i na pluća i na trbušne organe.

Žena je, pišu dalje, spašena dvostrukom kirurškom intervencijom. Prvo je intubirana te joj je tako omogućena mehanička ventilacija pluća odmah na odjelu za reanimaciju hitne pomoći. Prvi hitan zahvat na Hitnoj kirurgiji obavio je kirurg Ezio Falletto. On je iz pacijentičine trbušne šupljine iscrpio 52 litre tekuće tvari. Ta je drenaža ciste omogućila da pacijenticu ekstubiraju i da ona tako preživi prvu, kritičnu fazu.

Nakon nekoliko dana je na Drugome sveučilišnome kirurškom odjelu kirurg Francesco Moro obavio delikatan frontalni zahvat kojim je u komadu odstranjen cistoadenom jajnika mase otprilike 25 kilograma. Intervencija je bila uspješna, pa je mlada pacijentica nakon četiri dana prebačena na Odjel dijetetike i prehrane, a zatim otpuštena na kućnu njegu.

Kao što je poznato iz medicinske literature, cista jajnika je nakupina tekućine unutar tanke opne u unutrašnjosti jajnika. Ciste se redovito stvaraju u periodu ovulacije, iz Graafovih folikula, i zatim opet povlače. Postoje i trajne ciste, često uslijed endometrioze, onda dermoidne ciste nastale od nazočnih matičnih stanica, a onda i, najrjeđe, cistoadenomi. U manjem broju slučajeva cistoadenom može preći u maligni cistoadenokarcinom.

Budući da je cistoadenom često moguće držati pod kontrolom konzervativno, medikamentima, rijetki su slučajevi kada je nužno kirurško odstranjivanje, a posve je izuzetno da dostigne tako čudovišnu dimenziju kao u Torinu. Također je posve nejasno, jer o tome nema izravne vijesti, je li se pacijentica obratila liječnicima i ranije, kad je opazila kako fizički buja, i jesu li oni, možda, propustili reagirati prije negoli joj je život bio ugrožen, objavio je Jutarnji list.
