Dvije su žive plemenite periske u nedjelju pronađene kraj Kraljičine plaže u Ninu u blizini periske Ninjanke pronađene prije godinu dana. Jedna je periska visoka 11, a druga 13 centimetara iznad sedimenta. S obzirom da je još trećina njihove ukupne visine u sedimentu, pretpostavlja se da su perisike stare između tri i četiri godine što bi značilo njihovu spolnu zrelost. Periske su udaljene svega pet metara jedna od druge. Takva mala udaljenost između živih periski preduvjet je za njihovo uspješno razmnožavanje.

Nove žive plemenite periske pronašao je istraživački tim Hrvatskog veterinarskog instituta koji čine dr. sc. Željko Mihaljević, doc. dr. sc. Miroslav Benić i tehnička suradnica Angela Bradarić. Stručnjaci HVI-a na periske su naišli tijekom provjere, mjerenja i uzorkovanja fecesa živih jedinki plemenite periske pronađenih prošle godine – aktivnosti koje se obavljaju u sklopu projekta „Očuvanje plemenite periske (Pinna Nobilis) u Jadranskom moru“, o čemu su odmah obaviještene koordinatorice projekta Milena Ramov iz Javne ustanove Park prirode Telašćica i Jelena Kurtović Mrčelić iz Javne ustanove More i krš iz Splita.„U hrvatskom dijelu Jadrana do sada je potvrđeno 27 živih jedinki plemenite periske. Na srednjem ih je Jadranu evidentirano devet na relativno malom području što taj dio podmorja izdvaja kao moguće ‘utočište‘ imunih jedinki plemenite periske. To nam daje nadu da bi se one tijekom ljetnih mjeseci mogle razmnožavati i opstati“,kazao je dr. sc. Željko Mihaljević, patolog i epidemiolog na Hrvatskom veterinarskom institutu, voditelj istraživačkog tima HVI-a.Periska Ninjanka, nažalost, nije preživjela napad predatora. Pretpostavlja se da ju je napala hobotnica. Periska je bila zaštićena kavezom koji je uspješno štiti od mehaničkih oštećenja, no kroz njegove se rešetke u potrazi za hranom hobotnica vješto provlači.

Tijekom svibnja diljem su Jadrana javne ustanove, partneri na projektu „Očuvanje plemenite periske (Pinna Nobilis) u Jadranskom moru“, započele s postavljanjem kolektora za prihvat mlađi plemenite periske. Nizovi kolektora konopima su usidreni za dno i obilježeni plutačama s oznakama projekta i kontaktom nadležnih javnih ustanova. Istraživački tim HVI-a postavio je ukupno 17 nizova s kolektorima na lokacijama otoka Lošinja, Cresa, Mljeta, Lastova, Visa, Hvara i Šćedra. Ronioci su intenzivno pretraživali podmorje nadajući se pronalasku novih živih jedinki plemenite periske. Negdje je istraživački tim to radio samostalno, a negdje u okviru organiziranih ekoloških akcija.

Posebno izrađenim planktonskim mrežama u tijeku je prikupljanje planktona na svim lokacijama na kojima su postavljeni kolektori. Analizom u laboratorijima HVI-a detektirat će se prisustvo parazita Haplosporidiuma pinnae u planktonu. Uzorkovan je i feces živih jedinki plemenite periske kako bi se na neinvazivan, dakle za periske potpuno neopasan način, u njima testiralo prisustvo parazita te potvrdila teorija o njihovoj urođenoj otpornosti.

Masovni pomor periski u Sredozemlju koji je krenuo prije sedam godina iz Španjolske, prouzročio je upravo parazit Haplosporidium pinnae u kombinaciji s mikobakterijama.

Svaka je pronađena živa jedinka plemenite periske dragocjena. Zato stručnjaci u okviru ekoloških akcija educiraju ronioce kako pretraživati podmorje te prijavljivati pronalaske živih plemenitih periske putem platforme „Jeste li ih vidjeli?“ Ministarstva zaštite okoliša i održivog razvoja. U pretraživanje podmorja uključeni su članovi mnogobrojnih ronilačkih centara, ali i samostalni rekreativni ronioci.

I kod stranih turista raste svijest o važnosti brige za jadransku obalu i podmorje. Tijekom akcije u Ninu istraživači HVI-a upoznali su turista iz Češke koji je u Hrvatskoj na odmoru sedmi put. Oldrich (Olda) Peprla s obitelji je čistio plažu, a nakon što je doznao za projekt očuvanja plemenite periske u Jadranu glas o tome je proširio među sunarodnjacima koji planiraju ljetovanje u Hrvatskoj.

Projekt očuvanja plemenite periske koordinira Ministarstvo gospodarstva i održivog razvoja, a sufinancira Fond za zaštitu okoliša i energetsku učinkovitost. HVI je partner na projektu Javnoj ustanovi Nacionalni park Brijuni i Javnoj ustanovi More i krš, a u suradnji s Javnom ustanovom Park prirode Telašćica sudjeluje na projektnim aktivnostima na srednjem Jadranu.

Dvije su žive plemenite periske u nedjelju pronađene kraj Kraljičine plaže u Ninu u blizini periske Ninjanke pronađene prije godinu dana. Jedna je periska visoka 11, a druga 13 centimetara iznad sedimenta. S obzirom da je još trećina njihove ukupne visine u sedimentu, pretpostavlja se da su perisike stare između tri i četiri godine što bi značilo njihovu spolnu zrelost. Periske su udaljene svega pet metara jedna od druge. Takva mala udaljenost između živih periski preduvjet je za njihovo uspješno razmnožavanje.

Nove žive plemenite periske pronašao je istraživački tim Hrvatskog veterinarskog instituta koji čine dr. sc. Željko Mihaljević, doc. dr. sc. Miroslav Benić i tehnička suradnica Angela Bradarić. Stručnjaci HVI-a na periske su naišli tijekom provjere, mjerenja i uzorkovanja fecesa živih jedinki plemenite periske pronađenih prošle godine – aktivnosti koje se obavljaju u sklopu projekta „Očuvanje plemenite periske (Pinna Nobilis) u Jadranskom moru“, o čemu su odmah obaviještene koordinatorice projekta Milena Ramov iz Javne ustanove Park prirode Telašćica i Jelena Kurtović Mrčelić iz Javne ustanove More i krš iz Splita.„U hrvatskom dijelu Jadrana do sada je potvrđeno 27 živih jedinki plemenite periske. Na srednjem ih je Jadranu evidentirano devet na relativno malom području što taj dio podmorja izdvaja kao moguće ‘utočište‘ imunih jedinki plemenite periske. To nam daje nadu da bi se one tijekom ljetnih mjeseci mogle razmnožavati i opstati“,kazao je dr. sc. Željko Mihaljević, patolog i epidemiolog na Hrvatskom veterinarskom institutu, voditelj istraživačkog tima HVI-a.Periska Ninjanka, nažalost, nije preživjela napad predatora. Pretpostavlja se da ju je napala hobotnica. Periska je bila zaštićena kavezom koji je uspješno štiti od mehaničkih oštećenja, no kroz njegove se rešetke u potrazi za hranom hobotnica vješto provlači.

Tijekom svibnja diljem su Jadrana javne ustanove, partneri na projektu „Očuvanje plemenite periske (Pinna Nobilis) u Jadranskom moru“, započele s postavljanjem kolektora za prihvat mlađi plemenite periske. Nizovi kolektora konopima su usidreni za dno i obilježeni plutačama s oznakama projekta i kontaktom nadležnih javnih ustanova. Istraživački tim HVI-a postavio je ukupno 17 nizova s kolektorima na lokacijama otoka Lošinja, Cresa, Mljeta, Lastova, Visa, Hvara i Šćedra. Ronioci su intenzivno pretraživali podmorje nadajući se pronalasku novih živih jedinki plemenite periske. Negdje je istraživački tim to radio samostalno, a negdje u okviru organiziranih ekoloških akcija.

Posebno izrađenim planktonskim mrežama u tijeku je prikupljanje planktona na svim lokacijama na kojima su postavljeni kolektori. Analizom u laboratorijima HVI-a detektirat će se prisustvo parazita Haplosporidiuma pinnae u planktonu. Uzorkovan je i feces živih jedinki plemenite periske kako bi se na neinvazivan, dakle za periske potpuno neopasan način, u njima testiralo prisustvo parazita te potvrdila teorija o njihovoj urođenoj otpornosti.

Masovni pomor periski u Sredozemlju koji je krenuo prije sedam godina iz Španjolske, prouzročio je upravo parazit Haplosporidium pinnae u kombinaciji s mikobakterijama.

Svaka je pronađena živa jedinka plemenite periske dragocjena. Zato stručnjaci u okviru ekoloških akcija educiraju ronioce kako pretraživati podmorje te prijavljivati pronalaske živih plemenitih periske putem platforme „Jeste li ih vidjeli?“ Ministarstva zaštite okoliša i održivog razvoja. U pretraživanje podmorja uključeni su članovi mnogobrojnih ronilačkih centara, ali i samostalni rekreativni ronioci.

I kod stranih turista raste svijest o važnosti brige za jadransku obalu i podmorje. Tijekom akcije u Ninu istraživači HVI-a upoznali su turista iz Češke koji je u Hrvatskoj na odmoru sedmi put. Oldrich (Olda) Peprla s obitelji je čistio plažu, a nakon što je doznao za projekt očuvanja plemenite periske u Jadranu glas o tome je proširio među sunarodnjacima koji planiraju ljetovanje u Hrvatskoj.

Projekt očuvanja plemenite periske koordinira Ministarstvo gospodarstva i održivog razvoja, a sufinancira Fond za zaštitu okoliša i energetsku učinkovitost. HVI je partner na projektu Javnoj ustanovi Nacionalni park Brijuni i Javnoj ustanovi More i krš, a u suradnji s Javnom ustanovom Park prirode Telašćica sudjeluje na projektnim aktivnostima na srednjem Jadranu.
