Britansko sklonište Dogs Trust Canterbury našlo se u problemima kad im je došao novi štićenik. Divan je, nježan, pažljiv, ma jednom riječju savršen. No, odmah je bilo jasno kako će za njega biti jako teško naći dom. Postoji, naime, mali problem s njim. Ili, bolje reći, veliki, s obzirom na njegovu kilažu. Ona je, naime, problem. Mastif koji je dobio ime Galahad ima, naime, ravno 100 kilograma, piše Evening Standard.

U skloništu su odmah rekli kako je to najveći pas kojem su ikad tražili dom, no nadaju se kako će četverogodišnjak ipak pronaći nekoga kome njegova težina neće biti problem, prenosi VauMijau Jutarnjeg lista.

- On ne razumije koliko je velik. Ljudsko društvo obožava, pa mu tražimo nekoga tko će biti prava osoba za njega. Njegov dosadašnji život je takav da je na prvu pomalo nesiguran i plah, no čim se opusti, veoma je znatiželjan, pa njuši i ruši sve oko sebe - rekla je Harriet Blaskett, voditeljica skloništa.

Mastifi su izravni potomci drevnih pasa koji su postoje već pet tisuća godina, piše World Dog Finder. Moderna verzija pasmine mastif stara je više od 500 godina i poznata je još od vremena kad su Rimljani napali Britaniju. Ovi su psi izuzetno masivni, možda i nisu najviši, ali sigurno su najteži. Najveći ikad zabilježeni mastiff u povijesti težio je vrtoglavih 146,5 kilograma.

Ova pasmina je poznata i pod nazivom engleski mastif ili staro-engleski mastif. Mogu izgledati zastrašujuće i ljudi koji nisu upoznati s pasminom mogu se osjećati ugroženo, ali istina je da ovi psi imaju smiren i dobar temperament. Kao i bilo koje drugo štene, i mastifi su razigrani i aktivni. Većina njih odraste u mirne i staložene pse koji ne vole ništa više nego da budu uz svoju obitelji. Korišteni su kao ratni psi i u areni za borbu protiv lavova i gladijatora, pa nije ni čudo što suvremeni mastifi imaju zaštitničku prirodu.

Britansko sklonište Dogs Trust Canterbury našlo se u problemima kad im je došao novi štićenik. Divan je, nježan, pažljiv, ma jednom riječju savršen. No, odmah je bilo jasno kako će za njega biti jako teško naći dom. Postoji, naime, mali problem s njim. Ili, bolje reći, veliki, s obzirom na njegovu kilažu. Ona je, naime, problem. Mastif koji je dobio ime Galahad ima, naime, ravno 100 kilograma, piše Evening Standard.

U skloništu su odmah rekli kako je to najveći pas kojem su ikad tražili dom, no nadaju se kako će četverogodišnjak ipak pronaći nekoga kome njegova težina neće biti problem, prenosi VauMijau Jutarnjeg lista.

Mastifi su izravni potomci drevnih pasa koji su postoje već pet tisuća godina, piše World Dog Finder. Moderna verzija pasmine mastif stara je više od 500 godina i poznata je još od vremena kad su Rimljani napali Britaniju. Ovi su psi izuzetno masivni, možda i nisu najviši, ali sigurno su najteži. Najveći ikad zabilježeni mastiff u povijesti težio je vrtoglavih 146,5 kilograma.

Ova pasmina je poznata i pod nazivom engleski mastif ili staro-engleski mastif. Mogu izgledati zastrašujuće i ljudi koji nisu upoznati s pasminom mogu se osjećati ugroženo, ali istina je da ovi psi imaju smiren i dobar temperament. Kao i bilo koje drugo štene, i mastifi su razigrani i aktivni. Većina njih odraste u mirne i staložene pse koji ne vole ništa više nego da budu uz svoju obitelji. Korišteni su kao ratni psi i u areni za borbu protiv lavova i gladijatora, pa nije ni čudo što suvremeni mastifi imaju zaštitničku prirodu.

Britansko sklonište Dogs Trust Canterbury našlo se u problemima kad im je došao novi štićenik. Divan je, nježan, pažljiv, ma jednom riječju savršen. No, odmah je bilo jasno kako će za njega biti jako teško naći dom. Postoji, naime, mali problem s njim. Ili, bolje reći, veliki, s obzirom na njegovu kilažu. Ona je, naime, problem. Mastif koji je dobio ime Galahad ima, naime, ravno 100 kilograma, piše Evening Standard.

U skloništu su odmah rekli kako je to najveći pas kojem su ikad tražili dom, no nadaju se kako će četverogodišnjak ipak pronaći nekoga kome njegova težina neće biti problem, prenosi VauMijau Jutarnjeg lista.
