Leopardova glava na prsima Shalom Harlow, vučja na kaputu Naomi Campbell i dvije identične lavlje glave na haljinama Irine Shayk na pisti i Kylie Jenner u prvom redu prizori su po kojima će se dugo, dugo pamtiti revija modne kuće Shciaparelli za proljeće/ljeto 2023., s kojom je započeo Tjedan mode u Parizu. Ako je dramatičan utisak bio cilj Daniela Roseberrya, čije su kreacije zapalile društvene mreže i konsternirale dio modnih urednika, onda ga je itekako postigao. Šokantno je sastavni dio filozofije te modne kuće još od dana njene osnivačice Else Schiaparelli (o kojoj smo vam nedavno objavili veliku priču),  međutim nekima šokiranje koje za objekt ima životinjske glave koje neodoljivo podsjećaju na lovačke trofeje i dekadentne tepihe umjesto na žive životinje mnogima nije najbolje sjelo.

Objašnjenje za dizajn iza revije o kojoj se ne prestaje pričati je Danteova Božanska komedija, točnije njen pakao: kreator je, objasnio kako su životinje jedna od četiri doslovne reference koje je preuzeo iz Danteova pakla u kojem se pjesnik, suočava sa strahotama među kojima su lav, leopard i vučica koji predstavljaju ljudske mane - požudu, ponos i pohlepu. Dodao je i kako se za životinjske glave jer predstavljaju fotorealistički pristup nadrealizmu i zanimljivu igru optičke iluzije.

Je li pogodio u sridu ili fulao? Teško je reći, no svakako je šteta što su zbog tri haljine sve ostale kreacije prikazane na reviji pale u drugi plan. a zatim je tu i vrlo negativan backlash cijele revije. Unatoč tome što je brend na društvenim mrežama istaknuo kako su životinjske glave ručno oblikovane od pjene, smole, vune i umjetnog krzna te na kraju ručno oslikane, dio javnosti je jasno i glasno izrazio negodovanje. Ljubitelji životinja prigovorili su kako ih predstavljene kreacije neugodno podsjećaju na vremena kad su se životinjske glave i krzna koristili u industriji odjeće te da je takva eksploatacija dovela do ugroženosti i izumiranja brojnih životinjskih vrsta. Neki su išli toliko daleko da su ustvrdili kako Roseberryjeve kreacije promiču lov na životinjske trofeje.

Pomno se očekivalo što će na sve to reći aktivisti iz PETA-e, najveći zaštitnici životinja i organizatori cijelog niza dramatičnih performansa koji su trebali podići svjesnost o tome koliko je pogrešno nositi odjeću i modne dodatke od krzna. Neprofitna organizacija izdala je izjavu koju potpisuje predsjednica PETA-e, Ingrid Newkirk, te je u njoj pohvalila modnu kuću za "nevjerojatno inovativne" haljine. Kako je kasnije pojasnila za britanske medije, Ingrid smatra da haljine koje su nosile Shalom, Naomi, Irina i Kylie slave ljepotu divljih životinja i da se mogu gledati kao apel protiv lova na trofejne životinje.

Nema što, uistinu kontroverzna revija.

Leopardova glava na prsima Shalom Harlow, vučja na kaputu Naomi Campbell i dvije identične lavlje glave na haljinama Irine Shayk na pisti i Kylie Jenner u prvom redu prizori su po kojima će se dugo, dugo pamtiti revija modne kuće Shciaparelli za proljeće/ljeto 2023., s kojom je započeo Tjedan mode u Parizu. Ako je dramatičan utisak bio cilj Daniela Roseberrya, čije su kreacije zapalile društvene mreže i konsternirale dio modnih urednika, onda ga je itekako postigao. Šokantno je sastavni dio filozofije te modne kuće još od dana njene osnivačice Else Schiaparelli (o kojoj smo vam nedavno objavili veliku priču),  međutim nekima šokiranje koje za objekt ima životinjske glave koje neodoljivo podsjećaju na lovačke trofeje i dekadentne tepihe umjesto na žive životinje mnogima nije najbolje sjelo.

Objašnjenje za dizajn iza revije o kojoj se ne prestaje pričati je Danteova Božanska komedija, točnije njen pakao: kreator je, objasnio kako su životinje jedna od četiri doslovne reference koje je preuzeo iz Danteova pakla u kojem se pjesnik, suočava sa strahotama među kojima su lav, leopard i vučica koji predstavljaju ljudske mane - požudu, ponos i pohlepu. Dodao je i kako se za životinjske glave jer predstavljaju fotorealistički pristup nadrealizmu i zanimljivu igru optičke iluzije.

Teško je reći, no svakako je šteta što su zbog tri haljine sve ostale kreacije prikazane na reviji pale u drugi plan. a zatim je tu i vrlo negativan backlash cijele revije. Unatoč tome što je brend na društvenim mrežama istaknuo kako su životinjske glave ručno oblikovane od pjene, smole, vune i umjetnog krzna te na kraju ručno oslikane, dio javnosti je jasno i glasno izrazio negodovanje. Ljubitelji životinja prigovorili su kako ih predstavljene kreacije neugodno podsjećaju na vremena kad su se životinjske glave i krzna koristili u industriji odjeće te da je takva eksploatacija dovela do ugroženosti i izumiranja brojnih životinjskih vrsta. Neki su išli toliko daleko da su ustvrdili kako Roseberryjeve kreacije promiču lov na životinjske trofeje.

Pomno se očekivalo što će na sve to reći aktivisti iz PETA-e, najveći zaštitnici životinja i organizatori cijelog niza dramatičnih performansa koji su trebali podići svjesnost o tome koliko je pogrešno nositi odjeću i modne dodatke od krzna. Neprofitna organizacija izdala je izjavu koju potpisuje predsjednica PETA-e, Ingrid Newkirk, te je u njoj pohvalila modnu kuću za "nevjerojatno inovativne" haljine. Kako je kasnije pojasnila za britanske medije, Ingrid smatra da haljine koje su nosile Shalom, Naomi, Irina i Kylie slave ljepotu divljih životinja i da se mogu gledati kao apel protiv lova na trofejne životinje.

Nema što, uistinu kontroverzna revija.

Revija modne kuće Schiaparelli o kojoj svi pričaju sablaznila je ljubitelje životinja, a zatim je iz PETA-e stigao pravi šok

Leopardova glava na prsima Shalom Harlow, vučja na kaputu Naomi Campbell i dvije identične lavlje glave na haljinama Irine Shayk na pisti i Kylie Jenner u prvom redu prizori su po kojima će se dugo, dugo pamtiti revija modne kuće Shciaparelli za proljeće/ljeto 2023., s kojom je započeo Tjedan mode u Parizu. Ako je dramatičan utisak bio cilj Daniela Roseberrya, čije su kreacije zapalile društvene mreže i konsternirale dio modnih urednika, onda ga je itekako postigao. Šokantno je sastavni dio filozofije te modne kuće još od dana njene osnivačice Else Schiaparelli (o kojoj smo vam nedavno objavili veliku priču),  međutim nekima šokiranje koje za objekt ima životinjske glave koje neodoljivo podsjećaju na lovačke trofeje i dekadentne tepihe umjesto na žive životinje mnogima nije najbolje sjelo.

Objašnjenje za dizajn iza revije o kojoj se ne prestaje pričati je Danteova Božanska komedija, točnije njen pakao: kreator je, objasnio kako su životinje jedna od četiri doslovne reference koje je preuzeo iz Danteova pakla u kojem se pjesnik, suočava sa strahotama među kojima su lav, leopard i vučica koji predstavljaju ljudske mane - požudu, ponos i pohlepu. Dodao je i kako se za životinjske glave jer predstavljaju fotorealistički pristup nadrealizmu i zanimljivu igru optičke iluzije.
