Britanska vlada objavila je u nedjelju da najmanje šezdeset stambenih nebodera u Londonu i drugim britanskim gradovima nije u skladu sa sigurnosnim normama, dok su vlasti mobilizirane oko evakuacije stanara iz straha od nove drame nakon pogibeljnog požara nebodera Grenfell u Londonu.

Masovna operacija provjere usklađenosti s protupožarnim normama nebodera pokrenuta je nakon što je vatra devastirala neboder Grenfell u Londonu u noći s 13. na 14. lipnja pri čemu je poginulo najmanje 79 osoba.

Fasadna obloga te zgrade pripomogla je u širenju požara a slična obloga i izolacijski materijali otkriveni su na 60 stambenih zgrada za koje je procijenjeno da nisu sigurne nakon protupožarnog testiranja.

Ranije je za još približno 34 visokih zgrada utvrđeno da ne odgovaraju sigurnosnim normama.

U subotu je preventivno evakuirano više tisuća stanara iz 650 stanova velikog kompleksa Chalcots Estate u Camdenu, na sjeveru Londona.

Inspekcija je ustvrdila da četiri od pet nebodera predstavljaju opasnost. Vanjski izolacijski panoi tih nebodera isti su kao oni koji su pokrivali Grenfell.

Britanska vlada objavila je u nedjelju da najmanje šezdeset stambenih nebodera u Londonu i drugim britanskim gradovima nije u skladu sa sigurnosnim normama, dok su vlasti mobilizirane oko evakuacije stanara iz straha od nove drame nakon pogibeljnog požara nebodera Grenfell u Londonu.

Masovna operacija provjere usklađenosti s protupožarnim normama nebodera pokrenuta je nakon što je vatra devastirala neboder Grenfell u Londonu u noći s 13. na 14. lipnja pri čemu je poginulo najmanje 79 osoba.

Fasadna obloga te zgrade pripomogla je u širenju požara a slična obloga i izolacijski materijali otkriveni su na 60 stambenih zgrada za koje je procijenjeno da nisu sigurne nakon protupožarnog testiranja.

Ranije je za još približno 34 visokih zgrada utvrđeno da ne odgovaraju sigurnosnim normama.

U subotu je preventivno evakuirano više tisuća stanara iz 650 stanova velikog kompleksa Chalcots Estate u Camdenu, na sjeveru Londona.

Inspekcija je ustvrdila da četiri od pet nebodera predstavljaju opasnost. Vanjski izolacijski panoi tih nebodera isti su kao oni koji su pokrivali Grenfell.
