Po trinaesti put Bračani i Šoltani uprizorili su proteklog vikenda, nakon dvogodišnje stanke zbog korona virusa, Potezanje otočića Mrduje s ciljem da bi odgovorili na vječno pitanje i dvojbu „Čija je Mrduja“.

Trinaesti ogled bio je sretan za Bračane koji su odnijeli pobjedu i tako su sada u ukupnom skoru preuzeli vodstvo jer imaju sedam pobjeda, jedni više od Šoltana. Taj tijesni rezultat najbolji je pokazatelj natjecateljske neizvjesnosti i draži koje donosi potezanje Mrduje.

Ta povijesna legenda sada je postala svojevrsna turistička atrakcija jer nema nigdje u svijetu da se dvije strane bore za prevlast nad otokom i to uz pomoć potezanja konopa iz brodica, isključivo na vesla, snagom mišića.

Pjenilo se more u splitskom akvatoriju od brojnih brodica, potezanja konopa i navijanja. Potezali su iskusni ribari, snažni momci, žene i djevojke u kupaćim kostimima kao i oni nenavikli na konop i veslo. Premda je u legendi konop puknuo, ovoga puta je izdržao snagu i silinu brojnih otočana koji su ga snažno vukli svatko na svoju stranu. Poseban štimung dala je šoltanska limena glazba „Olinta“ i bračka klapa „Pastura“ i to sve u ritmu Gegotove pjesme „Od Mrduje do Mrduje“. Bilo je tu velikog šušura, navijanja, škljocali su foto aparati i zujale kamere jer su mnogi željeli zabilježiti taj atraktivni pomorski događaj.

Bračkih brodica bilo je više jer su doplovili iz svih dijelova otoka što im je donijelo važne bodove prema naslovu pobjednika. Ove godine, naime, po prvi put, bilo je više natjecateljskih disciplina pa su Bračani u ukupnom skoru slavili s rezultatom 4:2. Bračanima je pripao Posjedovni list u kojemu stoji da je za iduću godinu dana Mrduja njihova.

Načelnik Nikola Cecić Karuzić koji je Šoltane predvodio u svih dosadašnji trinaest pomorskih megdana zahvalio je svima koji su sudjelovalo u ovom jedinstvenom nadmetanju i spektaklu te je istakao kako ovakvi susreti i druženja pomažu međuotočnoj suradnji i zbližavanju, a to je ono čega manjka.

„Iduće godine izravnat ćemo račune kad su u pitanju pobjede s Bračanima“- optimistično je najavio Cecić.

„Ovo je bila jedna od najboljih Mrduja i po broju posjetitelja i po organizaciji. Za to su podjednako zaslužni i Bračani i Šoltani. Pobijediti u ovom natjecanju je veliko zadovoljstvo ponos i čast“ - kazao je u pobjedničkom zanosu Frane Lozić, poteštat Milne s Posjedovnim listom u ruci.

Potezanje Mrduje zajednički su osmislili općine Milna i Šolta te njihove turističke zajednice, a veliki broj domaćih i stranih posjetitelja svjedoči kako su napravili pravi posao.

„Veseli nas da se manifestacija „Potezanje Mrduje“ afirmirala i postala nezaobilaznom sastavnicom naše turističke ponude. Na nama je da je svake godine obogaćujemo i brusimo novim događajima i izazovima. Ima turista koji svoj odmor planiraju upravo u vrijeme potezanja Mrduje“- pojasnila je direktorica milnarske turističke zajednice Ana Grassi .

Nakon što je proglašen pobjednik fešta Bračana i Šoltana nastavljena je do kasnih noćnih sati uz nastup Luke Nižetića, ovogodišnjeg pobjednika Splitskog festivala.

Legenda o svađi Bračana i Šoltana

Uz otočić Mrduja vezana je legenda o svađi Bračana i Šoltana koji se nisu mogli dogovoriti čija je pa su je jedni i drugi vezali konopom i potezali na svoju stranu. Do danas je ostala uzrečica 'Il se Mrduja priteže il se konop rasteže'. Tako su za vijeke vijekova, kad je u pitanju Mrduja, ostali nerazjašnjeni imovinsko-pravni odnosi između Šoltana i Bračana.

A zašto se Mrduja zove Mrduja? Pa zato što se mrda, ali iako se mrda ne da se potegnuti ni Bračanima ni Šoltanima.

Po trinaesti put Bračani i Šoltani uprizorili su proteklog vikenda, nakon dvogodišnje stanke zbog korona virusa, Potezanje otočića Mrduje s ciljem da bi odgovorili na vječno pitanje i dvojbu „Čija je Mrduja“.

Trinaesti ogled bio je sretan za Bračane koji su odnijeli pobjedu i tako su sada u ukupnom skoru preuzeli vodstvo jer imaju sedam pobjeda, jedni više od Šoltana. Taj tijesni rezultat najbolji je pokazatelj natjecateljske neizvjesnosti i draži koje donosi potezanje Mrduje.

Ta povijesna legenda sada je postala svojevrsna turistička atrakcija jer nema nigdje u svijetu da se dvije strane bore za prevlast nad otokom i to uz pomoć potezanja konopa iz brodica, isključivo na vesla, snagom mišića.

Pjenilo se more u splitskom akvatoriju od brojnih brodica, potezanja konopa i navijanja. Potezali su iskusni ribari, snažni momci, žene i djevojke u kupaćim kostimima kao i oni nenavikli na konop i veslo. Premda je u legendi konop puknuo, ovoga puta je izdržao snagu i silinu brojnih otočana koji su ga snažno vukli svatko na svoju stranu. Poseban štimung dala je šoltanska limena glazba „Olinta“ i bračka klapa „Pastura“ i to sve u ritmu Gegotove pjesme „Od Mrduje do Mrduje“. Bilo je tu velikog šušura, navijanja, škljocali su foto aparati i zujale kamere jer su mnogi željeli zabilježiti taj atraktivni pomorski događaj.

Bračkih brodica bilo je više jer su doplovili iz svih dijelova otoka što im je donijelo važne bodove prema naslovu pobjednika. Ove godine, naime, po prvi put, bilo je više natjecateljskih disciplina pa su Bračani u ukupnom skoru slavili s rezultatom 4:2. Bračanima je pripao Posjedovni list u kojemu stoji da je za iduću godinu dana Mrduja njihova.

Načelnik Nikola Cecić Karuzić koji je Šoltane predvodio u svih dosadašnji trinaest pomorskih megdana zahvalio je svima koji su sudjelovalo u ovom jedinstvenom nadmetanju i spektaklu te je istakao kako ovakvi susreti i druženja pomažu međuotočnoj suradnji i zbližavanju, a to je ono čega manjka.

„Iduće godine izravnat ćemo račune kad su u pitanju pobjede s Bračanima“- optimistično je najavio Cecić.

„Ovo je bila jedna od najboljih Mrduja i po broju posjetitelja i po organizaciji. Za to su podjednako zaslužni i Bračani i Šoltani. Pobijediti u ovom natjecanju je veliko zadovoljstvo ponos i čast“ - kazao je u pobjedničkom zanosu Frane Lozić, poteštat Milne s Posjedovnim listom u ruci.

Potezanje Mrduje zajednički su osmislili općine Milna i Šolta te njihove turističke zajednice, a veliki broj domaćih i stranih posjetitelja svjedoči kako su napravili pravi posao.

„Veseli nas da se manifestacija „Potezanje Mrduje“ afirmirala i postala nezaobilaznom sastavnicom naše turističke ponude. Na nama je da je svake godine obogaćujemo i brusimo novim događajima i izazovima. Ima turista koji svoj odmor planiraju upravo u vrijeme potezanja Mrduje“- pojasnila je direktorica milnarske turističke zajednice Ana Grassi .

Nakon što je proglašen pobjednik fešta Bračana i Šoltana nastavljena je do kasnih noćnih sati uz nastup Luke Nižetića, ovogodišnjeg pobjednika Splitskog festivala.

Legenda o svađi Bračana i Šoltana

Uz otočić Mrduja vezana je legenda o svađi Bračana i Šoltana koji se nisu mogli dogovoriti čija je pa su je jedni i drugi vezali konopom i potezali na svoju stranu. Do danas je ostala uzrečica 'Il se Mrduja priteže il se konop rasteže'. Tako su za vijeke vijekova, kad je u pitanju Mrduja, ostali nerazjašnjeni imovinsko-pravni odnosi između Šoltana i Bračana.

A zašto se Mrduja zove Mrduja? Pa zato što se mrda, ali iako se mrda ne da se potegnuti ni Bračanima ni Šoltanima.
