Naši stari su znali reći "Sinko, nije sramota biti siromašan, ali je velika sramota biti neuredan i šporak", a jesmo li mi zapamtili tu poruku? Čini se da nismo, pogotovo ako pogledamo sve te deponije i ilegalna odlagališta otpada kojih imamo na tisuće u našoj zemlji.

Stručni tim Ministarstva zaštite okoliša i energetike, potpomognut kolegicama iz privatne tvrtke "Oikon" i dr. Nikolom Tvrtkovićem, došao je u Jelsu na Hvaru, gdje je održao radionicu s ciljem izrade Plana upravljanja mungosom. Na domaćim ljudima bilo je da iznesu svoje spoznaje o staništima, odnosno životnom prostoru, prehrani i razmnožavanju te strane invazivne vrste. Lovci su kazivali da se mungosi najčešće zadržavaju oko dva službena i desetaka ilegalnih odlagališta otpada na škoju, zato što je taj svežder zapravo snalažljiva i prilagodljiva životinja, koja se s prirodnog plijena sve više prebacuje na lakše dostupnu hranu.

Pojedinci su se pitali otkud u nas tolika "divlja odlagališta" i je li takva situacija primjerena 21. vijeku? A ispostavilo se da je, čini se, u tradiciji naših ljudi da oni, kad im nešto smeta u kući (stari hladnjaci, TV prijemnici, građevinski šut...), to lijepo stave na svoj kamiončić, kombi ili osobni automobil te odbace tamo gdje im to najbolje odgovara. Nažalost, to čine bez obzira što imaju mogućnost jedan ili dva puta godišnje pozvati djelatnike lokalnih komunalnih poduzeća da im taj glomazni otpad besplatno odvezu i zbrinu na primjeren način, kako treba. Naravno, najčešće ga odbacuju neposredno uz prometnice, bez imalo obzira i straha, što je – neprihvatljivo.

A zašto bi oni i strahovali kad u Hrvatskoj vrlo rijetko, ili gotovo nikad, ne čujemo da je netko kažnjen zbog onečišćavanja okoliša. No, kako se to može riješiti? Ponajprije edukacijom od vrtića, škola, fakulteta, radionica, putem medija..., zatim mjerama prevencije, a za one najbezobzirnije i rigidne represije. U mnogim zemljama građani sami prijavljuju takve delinkvente, dok to u nas baš i nije uobičajeno. Recimo i to da vam, primjerice, u Australiji, ako onečistite prirodu, naplate novčanu kaznu, ali isto tako oduzmu i sredstvo s kojim ste to učinili, pa makar da je riječ i o vozilu.

Rade li naša komunalna poduzeća kako treba? Pa mogli bismo reći "da", ali uz debelu ogradu, jer i tu ima još dosta prostora za stvaranje boljih uvjeta i navika odvojenog prikupljanja otpada, a za brisanje slike o njima kao o "carstvima uhljebljivanja" proteći će još puno vremena. Ako ih, primjerice, upozorite da je netko na nekoj lokaciji nelegalno odbacio otpad, oni će doći i to očistiti, ali se mora konstatirati da zasigurno nitko ne može sanirati ono što, nažalost, radi iznimno veliki broj ljudi. Kod nas je to naprosto običaj, a budući da smo mi turistička i jedna od najljepših zemalja na svijetu, to se jedino može riješiti donošenjem kvalitetnih propisa, odgovarajućim nadzorom i strogim kažnjavanjem.

Možda bi ih to odvratilo od namjere da i ubuduće sramote zemlju u kojoj žive, da joj nanose nesagledivu štetu, pa i u smislu posljedica za zdravlje naših građana. Imamo li onda pravo živjeti u boljoj, čistijoj i zdravijoj sredini? Ako pogledamo sve te olupine starih automobila iz kojih u tlo cure goriva i razna ulja u svakom i najmanjem mjestu, čini se da nemamo. Čovjek ne može vjerovati da se njih ne može prodati za reciklažu i uprihoditi koju kunu u obiteljske budžete. Pa ako i ne, moralo bi ih se negdje drugdje maknuti, one su također "šaka u oko" svakom imalo kulturnom čovjeku, bio on iz toga mjesta ili iz neke strane zemlje gdje se to naprosto ne može vidjeti. Uvjerili smo se to i sami boraveći nedavno u inozemstvu!

Naši stari su znali reći "Sinko, nije sramota biti siromašan, ali je velika sramota biti neuredan i šporak", a jesmo li mi zapamtili tu poruku? Čini se da nismo, pogotovo ako pogledamo sve te deponije i ilegalna odlagališta otpada kojih imamo na tisuće u našoj zemlji.

Stručni tim Ministarstva zaštite okoliša i energetike, potpomognut kolegicama iz privatne tvrtke "Oikon" i dr. Nikolom Tvrtkovićem, došao je u Jelsu na Hvaru, gdje je održao radionicu s ciljem izrade Plana upravljanja mungosom. Na domaćim ljudima bilo je da iznesu svoje spoznaje o staništima, odnosno životnom prostoru, prehrani i razmnožavanju te strane invazivne vrste. Lovci su kazivali da se mungosi najčešće zadržavaju oko dva službena i desetaka ilegalnih odlagališta otpada na škoju, zato što je taj svežder zapravo snalažljiva i prilagodljiva životinja, koja se s prirodnog plijena sve više prebacuje na lakše dostupnu hranu.

Pojedinci su se pitali otkud u nas tolika "divlja odlagališta" i je li takva situacija primjerena 21. vijeku? A ispostavilo se da je, čini se, u tradiciji naših ljudi da oni, kad im nešto smeta u kući (stari hladnjaci, TV prijemnici, građevinski šut...), to lijepo stave na svoj kamiončić, kombi ili osobni automobil te odbace tamo gdje im to najbolje odgovara. Nažalost, to čine bez obzira što imaju mogućnost jedan ili dva puta godišnje pozvati djelatnike lokalnih komunalnih poduzeća da im taj glomazni otpad besplatno odvezu i zbrinu na primjeren način, kako treba. Naravno, najčešće ga odbacuju neposredno uz prometnice, bez imalo obzira i straha, što je – neprihvatljivo.

A zašto bi oni i strahovali kad u Hrvatskoj vrlo rijetko, ili gotovo nikad, ne čujemo da je netko kažnjen zbog onečišćavanja okoliša. No, kako se to može riješiti? Ponajprije edukacijom od vrtića, škola, fakulteta, radionica, putem medija..., zatim mjerama prevencije, a za one najbezobzirnije i rigidne represije. U mnogim zemljama građani sami prijavljuju takve delinkvente, dok to u nas baš i nije uobičajeno. Recimo i to da vam, primjerice, u Australiji, ako onečistite prirodu, naplate novčanu kaznu, ali isto tako oduzmu i sredstvo s kojim ste to učinili, pa makar da je riječ i o vozilu.

Rade li naša komunalna poduzeća kako treba? Pa mogli bismo reći "da", ali uz debelu ogradu, jer i tu ima još dosta prostora za stvaranje boljih uvjeta i navika odvojenog prikupljanja otpada, a za brisanje slike o njima kao o "carstvima uhljebljivanja" proteći će još puno vremena. Ako ih, primjerice, upozorite da je netko na nekoj lokaciji nelegalno odbacio otpad, oni će doći i to očistiti, ali se mora konstatirati da zasigurno nitko ne može sanirati ono što, nažalost, radi iznimno veliki broj ljudi. Kod nas je to naprosto običaj, a budući da smo mi turistička i jedna od najljepših zemalja na svijetu, to se jedino može riješiti donošenjem kvalitetnih propisa, odgovarajućim nadzorom i strogim kažnjavanjem.

Možda bi ih to odvratilo od namjere da i ubuduće sramote zemlju u kojoj žive, da joj nanose nesagledivu štetu, pa i u smislu posljedica za zdravlje naših građana. Imamo li onda pravo živjeti u boljoj, čistijoj i zdravijoj sredini? Ako pogledamo sve te olupine starih automobila iz kojih u tlo cure goriva i razna ulja u svakom i najmanjem mjestu, čini se da nemamo. Čovjek ne može vjerovati da se njih ne može prodati za reciklažu i uprihoditi koju kunu u obiteljske budžete. Pa ako i ne, moralo bi ih se negdje drugdje maknuti, one su također "šaka u oko" svakom imalo kulturnom čovjeku, bio on iz toga mjesta ili iz neke strane zemlje gdje se to naprosto ne može vidjeti. Uvjerili smo se to i sami boraveći nedavno u inozemstvu!

Komentar Mirka Crnčevića: Svi grintaju na ilegalna odlagališta, a sami ih stvaraju

Naši stari su znali reći "Sinko, nije sramota biti siromašan, ali je velika sramota biti neuredan i šporak", a jesmo li mi zapamtili tu poruku? Čini se da nismo, pogotovo ako pogledamo sve te deponije i ilegalna odlagališta otpada kojih imamo na tisuće u našoj zemlji.

Stručni tim Ministarstva zaštite okoliša i energetike, potpomognut kolegicama iz privatne tvrtke "Oikon" i dr. Nikolom Tvrtkovićem, došao je u Jelsu na Hvaru, gdje je održao radionicu s ciljem izrade Plana upravljanja mungosom. Na domaćim ljudima bilo je da iznesu svoje spoznaje o staništima, odnosno životnom prostoru, prehrani i razmnožavanju te strane invazivne vrste. Lovci su kazivali da se mungosi najčešće zadržavaju oko dva službena i desetaka ilegalnih odlagališta otpada na škoju, zato što je taj svežder zapra...
