Selo Štikovo podno planine Svilaje, u okolici Drniša, posljednjih se dana suočava s najezdom skakavaca, piše HRT. Cijeli rojevi opsjedaju polja, okućnice i puteve i uništavaju mlade sadnice povrća. Mještani su očajni, a stručnjaci kažu da je riječ o prirodnoj pojavi i skakavcu koji se udomaćio u Hrvatskoj. Svakih nekoliko godina razvijaju iznimno velike populacije i stvaraju rojeve.
U Štikovo se vraćaju već četvrtu godinu u ovo doba. "Ove godine posebno! I lani ih je bilo, a ove godine još više! Svake godine sve više i više", kaže Đuro Nenadić iz Štikova. Napadaju sadnice povrća, pogotovo ono mlado i zeleno. "Samo se bojim toga, da mi uđu u vrt. Ako uđu u vrt, gotovo je", kaže Marta Knežević.
"Pojeli su mi sav cvijet! Krumpir mi je bio dva dana u cvatu - trećeg dana ni cvata ni ništa! Sad će krenuti napadati krastavce", kaže Vida Knežević. Stručnjaci uvjeravaju da se ovi skakavci ne smatraju invazivnom vrstom iako im je podrijetlo afričko.
"Riječ je o marokanskom skakavcu, koji je već duži niz godina prisutan i u Hrvatskoj. Tek u pojedinim godinama, kada dođe do njihova pretjeranog namnožavanja, kada se razviju u vrlo velikim rojevima - tada ih opažamo", pojašnjava Aleksandar Mešić, predstojnik Zavoda za poljoprivrednu zoologiju Agronomskog fakulteta u Zagrebu.
Ističe da narednih godina možemo očekivati još više takvih situacija. "U narednim godinama možemo očekivati još više takvih situacija, pogotovo uzmemo li u obzir sve toplije zime uslijed klimatskih promjena", poručuje Mešić.
Grad Drniš već je zbog lanjske najezde kontaktirao s tvrtkom s kojom ima ugovor za tretiranje nametnika.
"I oni su nam rekli da bude najčešće privremena najezda uslijed velikih kiša, što smo sad imali. Oni imaju svoje neke rute i ako se zadrže kratko tu, zapravo nemamo što napraviti", kaže Šime Cigić, pročelnik Upravnog odjela za prostorno uređenje, graditeljstvo, komunalno gospodarstvo i zaštitu okoliša Grada Drniša. A ako se ipak dulje zadrže, uvjeravaju nas u Drnišu, pokušat će ih se riješiti.

Selo Štikovo podno planine Svilaje, u okolici Drniša, posljednjih se dana suočava s najezdom skakavaca, piše HRT. Cijeli rojevi opsjedaju polja, okućnice i puteve i uništavaju mlade sadnice povrća. Mještani su očajni, a stručnjaci kažu da je riječ o prirodnoj pojavi i skakavcu koji se udomaćio u Hrvatskoj. Svakih nekoliko godina razvijaju iznimno velike populacije i stvaraju rojeve.
U Štikovo se vraćaju već četvrtu godinu u ovo doba. "Ove godine posebno! I lani ih je bilo, a ove godine još više! Svake godine sve više i više", kaže Đuro Nenadić iz Štikova. Napadaju sadnice povrća, pogotovo ono mlado i zeleno. "Samo se bojim toga, da mi uđu u vrt. Ako uđu u vrt, gotovo je", kaže Marta Knežević.
"Pojeli su mi sav cvijet! Krumpir mi je bio dva dana u cvatu - trećeg dana ni cvata ni ništa! Sad će krenuti napadati krastavce", kaže Vida Knežević. Stručnjaci uvjeravaju da se ovi skakavci ne smatraju invazivnom vrstom iako im je podrijetlo afričko.
"Riječ je o marokanskom skakavcu, koji je već duži niz godina prisutan i u Hrvatskoj. Tek u pojedinim godinama, kada dođe do njihova pretjeranog namnožavanja, kada se razviju u vrlo velikim rojevima - tada ih opažamo", pojašnjava Aleksandar Mešić, predstojnik Zavoda za poljoprivrednu zoologiju Agronomskog fakulteta u Zagrebu.
Ističe da narednih godina možemo očekivati još više takvih situacija. "U narednim godinama možemo očekivati još više takvih situacija, pogotovo uzmemo li u obzir sve toplije zime uslijed klimatskih promjena", poručuje Mešić.
Grad Drniš već je zbog lanjske najezde kontaktirao s tvrtkom s kojom ima ugovor za tretiranje nametnika.
"I oni su nam rekli da bude najčešće privremena najezda uslijed velikih kiša, što smo sad imali. Oni imaju svoje neke rute i ako se zadrže kratko tu, zapravo nemamo što napraviti", kaže Šime Cigić, pročelnik Upravnog odjela za prostorno uređenje, graditeljstvo, komunalno gospodarstvo i zaštitu okoliša Grada Drniša. A ako se ipak dulje zadrže, uvjeravaju nas u Drnišu, pokušat će ih se riješiti.
