Redatelj Emir Kusturica snimio je 2008. godine film o legendarnom Diegu Maradoni i za vrijeme nastajanja tog djela postali su prijatelji. Zato mu je ovih dana posebno žao zbog smrti za mnoge najvećeg nogometaša svih vremena.

"Ne pamtim je li u posljednjem stoljeću postajala ovakva žalost... Dok je svijet podijeljen virusom, Bog nas je spojio u bolu i rasplakao nas", rekao je Kusturica o svom prijatelju u intervjuu za talijanski list "Corriere della Sera".

Kusturica je otkrio i neke detalje sa snimanja tog filma.

"To je film koji govori o bliskosti. Dok smo radili zajedno, ja i Diego postali smo bliski, međusobna kemija je eksplodirala među nama. Obojica smo došli s ulice, iz predgrađa, ja iz Sarajeva, on iz Buenos Airesa i znali smo težinu takvog odrastanja i preživljavanja na rubovima grada. Ipak, nije bilo uvijek jednostavno raditi s njim".

Na pitanje zašto, Kusturica odgovara: 

"Jer je Diego znao biti neukrotiv, kao na terenu. Jednom sam otišao u Buenos Aires i nismo ga mogli pronaći! Nestao je. Tek tako".

Ipak, Kusturica se uvjerio u sve Maradonine vrline:

"Njegova snaga bilo je suosjećanje. Imao je nevjerovatan osmijeh... Jednog dana sam išao s njim na utakmicu Boca Juniorsa i bio je to manji neki meč, a on je vikao, vrištao, bio je kao zemljotres. Popunio je sav prostor oko sebe"

Na pitanje je li Maradona bio ljevičar, Kusturica kaže da jest, ali da je on lijeve ideje osjećao instinktivno, zbog svoje prirode i borbe protiv nepravde. Takođe, on smatra da je Diego svoje "supermoći" na terenu, s druge strane, morao "platiti" svojom ovisnošću o drogama.

Uostalom, i danas mnogi citiraju njegovu izjavu: "Emire, zamisli kakav bih tek bio da nije bilo kokaina!".

Kusturica je upitan i je li se Maradona zaista kajao zbog odnosa prema obitelji.

"Malo mu je zaista bilo žao, malo je glumio… Bio je zaista glumac. U Argentini je, na kraju krajeva, mnogo sentimentalnih".

Na kraju je umro sam.

"Živio je spontano, instiktivno, previše. Možda mu je nedostajalo emotivno obrazovanje, ta osnova da nikad ne gubi iz vida važne odnose".

Novinari su pitali Kusturicu bi li neku sličnu, filmsku priču o životnom putu mogao dobiti još neki igrač?

"Nitko. Šta bih mogao kazati o Cristianu Ronaldu? On je perfektan, zarađuje brdo novca, ali gdje je njegova osobnost? Koja bi se priča tu mogla ispričati? Nijedna", uvjeren je Kusturica.

Redatelj Emir Kusturica snimio je 2008. godine film o legendarnom Diegu Maradoni i za vrijeme nastajanja tog djela postali su prijatelji. Zato mu je ovih dana posebno žao zbog smrti za mnoge najvećeg nogometaša svih vremena.

"Ne pamtim je li u posljednjem stoljeću postajala ovakva žalost... Dok je svijet podijeljen virusom, Bog nas je spojio u bolu i rasplakao nas", rekao je Kusturica o svom prijatelju u intervjuu za talijanski list "Corriere della Sera".

Kusturica je otkrio i neke detalje sa snimanja tog filma.

"To je film koji govori o bliskosti. Dok smo radili zajedno, ja i Diego postali smo bliski, međusobna kemija je eksplodirala među nama. Obojica smo došli s ulice, iz predgrađa, ja iz Sarajeva, on iz Buenos Airesa i znali smo težinu takvog odrastanja i preživljavanja na rubovima grada. Ipak, nije bilo uvijek jednostavno raditi s njim".

Na pitanje zašto, Kusturica odgovara: 

"Jer je Diego znao biti neukrotiv, kao na terenu. Jednom sam otišao u Buenos Aires i nismo ga mogli pronaći! Nestao je. Tek tako".

Ipak, Kusturica se uvjerio u sve Maradonine vrline:

"Njegova snaga bilo je suosjećanje. Imao je nevjerovatan osmijeh... Jednog dana sam išao s njim na utakmicu Boca Juniorsa i bio je to manji neki meč, a on je vikao, vrištao, bio je kao zemljotres. Popunio je sav prostor oko sebe"

Na pitanje je li Maradona bio ljevičar, Kusturica kaže da jest, ali da je on lijeve ideje osjećao instinktivno, zbog svoje prirode i borbe protiv nepravde. Takođe, on smatra da je Diego svoje "supermoći" na terenu, s druge strane, morao "platiti" svojom ovisnošću o drogama.

Uostalom, i danas mnogi citiraju njegovu izjavu: "Emire, zamisli kakav bih tek bio da nije bilo kokaina!".

Kusturica je upitan i je li se Maradona zaista kajao zbog odnosa prema obitelji.

"Malo mu je zaista bilo žao, malo je glumio… Bio je zaista glumac. U Argentini je, na kraju krajeva, mnogo sentimentalnih".

Na kraju je umro sam.

"Živio je spontano, instiktivno, previše. Možda mu je nedostajalo emotivno obrazovanje, ta osnova da nikad ne gubi iz vida važne odnose".

Novinari su pitali Kusturicu bi li neku sličnu, filmsku priču o životnom putu mogao dobiti još neki igrač?

"Nitko. Šta bih mogao kazati o Cristianu Ronaldu? On je perfektan, zarađuje brdo novca, ali gdje je njegova osobnost? Koja bi se priča tu mogla ispričati? Nijedna", uvjeren je Kusturica.

Redatelj Emir Kusturica snimio je 2008. godine film o legendarnom Diegu Maradoni i za vrijeme nastajanja tog djela postali su prijatelji. Zato mu je ovih dana posebno žao zbog smrti za mnoge najvećeg nogometaša svih vremena.

"Ne pamtim je li u posljednjem stoljeću postajala ovakva žalost... Dok je svijet podijeljen virusom, Bog nas je spojio u bolu i rasplakao nas", rekao je Kusturica o svom prijatelju u intervjuu za talijanski list "Corriere della Sera".

Kusturica je otkrio i neke detalje sa snimanja tog filma.

"To je film koji govori o bliskosti. Dok smo radili zajedno, ja i Diego postali smo bliski, međusobna kemija je eksplodirala među nama. Obojica smo došli s ulice, iz predgrađa, ja iz Sarajeva, on iz Buenos Airesa i znali smo težinu takvog odrastanja i preživljavanja na rubo...
