Preživljavanje usamljenih likova na jednoj lokaciji postao je jedan od najpopularnijih trilersko-dramskih (i hororskih) koncepata 2010-ih. Koncept je iznjedrio filmove kao što su “127 sati”, “Živ zakopan”, “Gravitacija”, “Sve je izgubljeno”, “Ne diši”, “Pakao pod morem”, “Opasnost iz dubine”, “Pod vatrom snajpera”, “Plijen”, “Podivljalo more”, “Kisik”, “Zvijer”, “Pad”, ...

Ako se činilo da se koncept dosad već lagano istrošio, španjolski film nastao u produkciji Netflixa “Nigdje” (“Nowhere”) pokazuje da u situacijskim “survival” trilerima tog tipa ima još života. Premda “Nigdje” ne spada u najbolje primjerke žanra i treba mu vremena da pronađe žanrovski ritam, film umije dosegnuti priličnu napetost i iznad prosjeka ga podiže iznimno posvećena izvedba mlade španjolske nade Anne Castillo u ulozi trudne imigrantice Mije.

Uvod trilera redatelja Albera Pinta (režirao epizode serija “Kuća od papira” i “Crveno nebo”) evidentno crpi inspiraciju iz izbjegličke stvarnosti današnjice, samo što je potencira distopijskim diskursom. Učiteljica Mia i njezin suprug Nico (Tamar Novas) bježe iz totalitarne Španjolske gdje je režim preuzeo vlast i uveo raspodjelu resursa s mjerama protiv nestašica koje su “neugodne prema djeci i trudnicama”.

Plan je da se brodom dočepaju Irske i tamo pronađu bolju budućnost. “Volim te više nego jučer, ali manje nego sutra”, Mia i Nico govore jedno drugome. Nažalost, plan neće biti lako ostvariv. Spletom okolnosti, par se najprije razdvaja i svatko od njih završi u različitom teretnom kontejneru s drugim izbjeglicama.

Stvari otad kreću s lošega na gore. Mia jedina u svom kontejneru ostaje živa nakon bliskog susreta s pripadnicima španjolske vlasti. Ubrzo potom, njezin kontejner tijekom nevremena pada s tankera u more i pluta na pučini. Kontejner u filmu “Nowhere” postaje kao pogrebni lijes u “Buried”, uz olakotnu okolnost da je ipak veći i da u njemu Mia može iskoristiti poneku stvar iz sanduka poput “tupperwarea”.

Ipak, otegotna okolnost jest da je kontejner probušen mecima i da u njega ulazi more, tako da nije čudno kako Mia sanja o utapanju jer taj scenarij je moguć i pitanje je dokle može izdržati da ne potone. Uz to, ponovimo, Mia je trudna tako da nastoji ostati živa i zbog nerođene bebe, odnosno kad joj pukne vodenjak i rodi usred oluje prisiljena je raditi sve što je u njezinoj moći da održi sebe i novorođenče na životu, malu Nou, posebice jer je već jedno dijete izgubila prije nego što smo je upoznali.

Sve to podiže “survival” uloge u ovom trileru, najboljem u središnjem dijelu kad je Mia, daleko od Španjolske i političkog komentara na izbjegličku krizu, prepuštena na (ne)milost mora u kontejneru. Gledatelj emotivno uvučen u priču zahvaljujući predanoj glumici koja je srce filma i klaustrofobičnoj atmosferi neminovno zamišlja što bi napravio da se, ne daj Bože, nađe u Mijinoj situaciji.

Bi li se na isti način dosjetio otvoriti krov i hvatati ribu? Da li bi se usudio pojesti sve što je i Mia pojela u nedostatku prave hrane (posteljicu)? “Survival” elemenata je više dovoljno tako da napad velike bijele psine ili neke slične ribetine na kontejner u hororske svrhe nije potreban, ali kasnije uvođenje ženke kita u priču podebljava mitske konotacije filma, od male Noe (Noine Arke) do Mije kao žene, majke, ratnice. “Nigdje” podiže “survival” spomenik majkama i majčinstvu.

Ernest Riera, koscenarist ovog filma, sudjelovao je i na pisanju scenarij za horor triler "47 Meters Down" ili "Pakao pod morem".

Preživljavanje usamljenih likova na jednoj lokaciji postao je jedan od najpopularnijih trilersko-dramskih (i hororskih) koncepata 2010-ih. Koncept je iznjedrio filmove kao što su “127 sati”, “Živ zakopan”, “Gravitacija”, “Sve je izgubljeno”, “Ne diši”, “Pakao pod morem”, “Opasnost iz dubine”, “Pod vatrom snajpera”, “Plijen”, “Podivljalo more”, “Kisik”, “Zvijer”, “Pad”, ...

Ako se činilo da se koncept dosad već lagano istrošio, španjolski film nastao u produkciji Netflixa “Nigdje” (“Nowhere”) pokazuje da u situacijskim “survival” trilerima tog tipa ima još života. Premda “Nigdje” ne spada u najbolje primjerke žanra i treba mu vremena da pronađe žanrovski ritam, film umije dosegnuti priličnu napetost i iznad prosjeka ga podiže iznimno posvećena izvedba mlade španjolske nade Anne Castillo u ulozi trudne imigrantice Mije.

Uvod trilera redatelja Albera Pinta (režirao epizode serija “Kuća od papira” i “Crveno nebo”) evidentno crpi inspiraciju iz izbjegličke stvarnosti današnjice, samo što je potencira distopijskim diskursom. Učiteljica Mia i njezin suprug Nico (Tamar Novas) bježe iz totalitarne Španjolske gdje je režim preuzeo vlast i uveo raspodjelu resursa s mjerama protiv nestašica koje su “neugodne prema djeci i trudnicama”.

Plan je da se brodom dočepaju Irske i tamo pronađu bolju budućnost. “Volim te više nego jučer, ali manje nego sutra”, Mia i Nico govore jedno drugome. Nažalost, plan neće biti lako ostvariv. Spletom okolnosti, par se najprije razdvaja i svatko od njih završi u različitom teretnom kontejneru s drugim izbjeglicama.

Stvari otad kreću s lošega na gore. Mia jedina u svom kontejneru ostaje živa nakon bliskog susreta s pripadnicima španjolske vlasti. Ubrzo potom, njezin kontejner tijekom nevremena pada s tankera u more i pluta na pučini. Kontejner u filmu “Nowhere” postaje kao pogrebni lijes u “Buried”, uz olakotnu okolnost da je ipak veći i da u njemu Mia može iskoristiti poneku stvar iz sanduka poput “tupperwarea”.

Ipak, otegotna okolnost jest da je kontejner probušen mecima i da u njega ulazi more, tako da nije čudno kako Mia sanja o utapanju jer taj scenarij je moguć i pitanje je dokle može izdržati da ne potone. Uz to, ponovimo, Mia je trudna tako da nastoji ostati živa i zbog nerođene bebe, odnosno kad joj pukne vodenjak i rodi usred oluje prisiljena je raditi sve što je u njezinoj moći da održi sebe i novorođenče na životu, malu Nou, posebice jer je već jedno dijete izgubila prije nego što smo je upoznali.

Sve to podiže “survival” uloge u ovom trileru, najboljem u središnjem dijelu kad je Mia, daleko od Španjolske i političkog komentara na izbjegličku krizu, prepuštena na (ne)milost mora u kontejneru. Gledatelj emotivno uvučen u priču zahvaljujući predanoj glumici koja je srce filma i klaustrofobičnoj atmosferi neminovno zamišlja što bi napravio da se, ne daj Bože, nađe u Mijinoj situaciji.

Bi li se na isti način dosjetio otvoriti krov i hvatati ribu? Da li bi se usudio pojesti sve što je i Mia pojela u nedostatku prave hrane (posteljicu)? “Survival” elemenata je više dovoljno tako da napad velike bijele psine ili neke slične ribetine na kontejner u hororske svrhe nije potreban, ali kasnije uvođenje ženke kita u priču podebljava mitske konotacije filma, od male Noe (Noine Arke) do Mije kao žene, majke, ratnice. “Nigdje” podiže “survival” spomenik majkama i majčinstvu.
