Leđna peraja velike bijele psine sječe površinu mora iza dva para skijaša na donjem dijelu plakata filma "Ralje 3" ("Jaws 3-D", 1983.). Na gornjem dijelu plakata golema glava morskog psa se razjapljenih ralja nadvija nad obalom. Brrr! Poster se usjekao u sjećanje klincima osamdesetih na prvi pogled u izlogu ljetnog kina i poticao dječji strah.

Skijanje na vodi pomoću glisera bilo je nešto što se polovicom osamdesetih moglo vidjeti takoreći svaki dan nekih 50-ak metara od plaže, tako da je dječja mašta ludovala "od straja" i od svakog vala zamišljala da je peraja.

"Ralje 3" bile su nešto čega su se klinci bojali na neviđeno, posebice nakon što su čuli priče starijih o prijašnjim "Jaws" filmovima, naročito prvim "Raljama".

Da su se tada "Ralje 3" pogledale na velikom ekranu, i to u 3D-u, bez prethodnog susreta s originalom i nastavkom "Jaws 2", vjerojatno bi to bilo hororsko kino iskustvo za pamćenje.

Međutim, kad se film pogledao kod kuće negdje na prijelazu osamdesetih u devedesete, nakon gledanja "Ralja 1&2", efekt jednostavno nije mogao biti isti. Mladi filmofili mogli su već tada uvidjeti razliku između prvog, drugog i trećeg filma, na štetu potonjeg koji je, pak, manje loš od "četvorke" ("Osveta").

Razlika je još frapantnija na novo gledanje godinama kasnije. "Jaws 3" je slabo ostario, najviše zbog trodimenzionalnih scena (prepolovljena riba, odgrižena ruka...) koje u 2D-u izgledaju kao djelo primitivne računalne tehnologije čak i za pojam dvije godine starijeg "Trona".

Pa ipak, "Ralje 3" u debitantskoj režiji scenografa prethodnih filmova Joea Alvesa bile su značajne u popularizaciji 3D-a kao prvi franšizni "mainstream" blockbuster snimljen u "trećoj dimenziji", u to vrijeme rezerviranoj za horore poput trećeg "Petka 13." i "Amityvillea", ma koliko da taj 3D bio daleko od "Avatarova".

Producenti su posegnuli za 3D-om kako bi publici ponudili nešto atraktivno u godini "Star Wars" spektakla "Povratak jedija" i kompenzirali izostanak zvijezde Roya Scheidera u ulozi šerifa Brodyja (iste 1983. glumio u "Plavom gromu"), ali i imali "ekstra" adut u odnosu na kopije prvog filma koje su preplavile tržište kao što su "Pirana", "Orka: Kit ubojica", "Grizli"...

No, kvaka je i da je "Jaws 3" u mnogočemu kopirao izvorne "Ralje", nažalost ne i Spielbergovu hororsko-trilersku tenziju i kvalitetnu priču, brzinski sklepanu od strane scenarista "dvojke" Carla Gottlieba i slavnog pisca Richarda Mathesona ("Dvoboj").

Primjerice, poput gradonačelnika Amityja, lik vlasnika floridskog vodenog/podvodnog parka "Sea World" (oskarovac Louis Gossett Jr.; "Oficir i džentlmen") zabrinutiji je za to što bi se njegova turistička atrakcija mogla zatvoriti nego za živote zaposlenika i gostiju, a želio je da velika bijela psina bude dio ponude.

Izostanak Brodyja riješen je tako što su glavni likovi njegovi sinovi (Dennis Quaid, John Putch), ali oni nisu zanimljivi da bi imali toliku minutažu, štoviše od njih su interesantnije protagonistice (Bess Armstrong, Lea Thompson). Dosta toga u filmu vuče i na nenamjernu parodiju (morski pas djeluje jeftinije) što nije iznenađujuće s obzirom da su "Ralje 3" izvorno začete upravo parodijski.

Radni naslov bio je "Jaws 3, People 0", autor romana "Ralje" Peter Benchley u uvodnoj bi sceni stradao od morskog psa u vlastitom bazenu, a trebala se pojaviti i gola Bo Derek na valu "Desetke". Iako se od toga odustalo, morski pas je svejedno odnio pobjedu nad ljudima od 3:0 u filmu koji je, neovisno o (ne)kvaliteti, pokazao smjer sličnih (3D) blockbustera u budućnosti, od "Jurskog parka" do "Dubokog modrog mora", ali i narasle apetite publike u jed(i)noj nezaboravnoj, krajnje uznemirujućoj, pa i prijelomnoj hororskoj sceni.

Sjećate se subjektivnog kadra u blockbusteru "Pearl Harbor" kad kamera prati bombu od njezina puštanja iz aviona do pogađanja bojnog broda i eksplodiranja? Scena je režirana tako da gledatelj doživi prasak u prvom licu i na neki način sam postane bomba umjesto da samo gleda eksploziju.

Korijeni te scene mogu se pronaći u "Jaws 3" koju je citirao i "Meg 2". Zašto samo gledati napad velike bijele psine "sa strane", ako možete to iskusiti? Alves je postavio gledatelja u unutrašnjost ralja i snimio kadar u doživljajnom prvom licu morskog psa u trenutku kad proždire jednog lika uz zvukove krckanja kostiju. Da mi je biti morski pas?

Leđna peraja velike bijele psine sječe površinu mora iza dva para skijaša na donjem dijelu plakata filma "Ralje 3" ("Jaws 3-D", 1983.). Na gornjem dijelu plakata golema glava morskog psa se razjapljenih ralja nadvija nad obalom. Brrr! Poster se usjekao u sjećanje klincima osamdesetih na prvi pogled u izlogu ljetnog kina i poticao dječji strah.

Skijanje na vodi pomoću glisera bilo je nešto što se polovicom osamdesetih moglo vidjeti takoreći svaki dan nekih 50-ak metara od plaže, tako da je dječja mašta ludovala "od straja" i od svakog vala zamišljala da je peraja.

"Ralje 3" bile su nešto čega su se klinci bojali na neviđeno, posebice nakon što su čuli priče starijih o prijašnjim "Jaws" filmovima, naročito prvim "Raljama".

Da su se tada "Ralje 3" pogledale na velikom ekranu, i to u 3D-u, bez prethodnog susreta s originalom i nastavkom "Jaws 2", vjerojatno bi to bilo hororsko kino iskustvo za pamćenje.

Međutim, kad se film pogledao kod kuće negdje na prijelazu osamdesetih u devedesete, nakon gledanja "Ralja 1&2", efekt jednostavno nije mogao biti isti. Mladi filmofili mogli su već tada uvidjeti razliku između prvog, drugog i trećeg filma, na štetu potonjeg koji je, pak, manje loš od "četvorke" ("Osveta").

Razlika je još frapantnija na novo gledanje godinama kasnije. "Jaws 3" je slabo ostario, najviše zbog trodimenzionalnih scena (prepolovljena riba, odgrižena ruka...) koje u 2D-u izgledaju kao djelo primitivne računalne tehnologije čak i za pojam dvije godine starijeg "Trona".

Pa ipak, "Ralje 3" u debitantskoj režiji scenografa prethodnih filmova Joea Alvesa bile su značajne u popularizaciji 3D-a kao prvi franšizni "mainstream" blockbuster snimljen u "trećoj dimenziji", u to vrijeme rezerviranoj za horore poput trećeg "Petka 13." i "Amityvillea", ma koliko da taj 3D bio daleko od "Avatarova".

Producenti su posegnuli za 3D-om kako bi publici ponudili nešto atraktivno u godini "Star Wars" spektakla "Povratak jedija" i kompenzirali izostanak zvijezde Roya Scheidera u ulozi šerifa Brodyja (iste 1983. glumio u "Plavom gromu"), ali i imali "ekstra" adut u odnosu na kopije prvog filma koje su preplavile tržište kao što su "Pirana", "Orka: Kit ubojica", "Grizli"...

No, kvaka je i da je "Jaws 3" u mnogočemu kopirao izvorne "Ralje", nažalost ne i Spielbergovu hororsko-trilersku tenziju i kvalitetnu priču, brzinski sklepanu od strane scenarista "dvojke" Carla Gottlieba i slavnog pisca Richarda Mathesona ("Dvoboj").

Primjerice, poput gradonačelnika Amityja, lik vlasnika floridskog vodenog/podvodnog parka "Sea World" (oskarovac Louis Gossett Jr.; "Oficir i džentlmen") zabrinutiji je za to što bi se njegova turistička atrakcija mogla zatvoriti nego za živote zaposlenika i gostiju, a želio je da velika bijela psina bude dio ponude.

Izostanak Brodyja riješen je tako što su glavni likovi njegovi sinovi (Dennis Quaid, John Putch), ali oni nisu zanimljivi da bi imali toliku minutažu, štoviše od njih su interesantnije protagonistice (Bess Armstrong, Lea Thompson). Dosta toga u filmu vuče i na nenamjernu parodiju (morski pas djeluje jeftinije) što nije iznenađujuće s obzirom da su "Ralje 3" izvorno začete upravo parodijski.

Radni naslov bio je "Jaws 3, People 0", autor romana "Ralje" Peter Benchley u uvodnoj bi sceni stradao od morskog psa u vlastitom bazenu, a trebala se pojaviti i gola Bo Derek na valu "Desetke". Iako se od toga odustalo, morski pas je svejedno odnio pobjedu nad ljudima od 3:0 u filmu koji je, neovisno o (ne)kvaliteti, pokazao smjer sličnih (3D) blockbustera u budućnosti, od "Jurskog parka" do "Dubokog modrog mora", ali i narasle apetite publike u jed(i)noj nezaboravnoj, krajnje uznemirujućoj, pa i prijelomnoj hororskoj sceni.

Sjećate se subjektivnog kadra u blockbusteru "Pearl Harbor" kad kamera prati bombu od njezina puštanja iz aviona do pogađanja bojnog broda i eksplodiranja? Scena je režirana tako da gledatelj doživi prasak u prvom licu i na neki način sam postane bomba umjesto da samo gleda eksploziju.

Korijeni te scene mogu se pronaći u "Jaws 3" koju je citirao i "Meg 2". Zašto samo gledati napad velike bijele psine "sa strane", ako možete to iskusiti? Alves je postavio gledatelja u unutrašnjost ralja i snimio kadar u doživljajnom prvom licu morskog psa u trenutku kad proždire jednog lika uz zvukove krckanja kostiju. Da mi je biti morski pas?
