"Moje ime je Shang-Chi." – "Shang-Chi i legenda o deset prstenova" (2021.)

Baletska inscenacija borilačkih vještina u usporenom pokretu, "božanski kung fu", pokretač je glavnine akcije u hitu "Shang-Chi i legenda o deset prstenova" kao u nijednom Marvelovom superherojskom blockbusteru prije. Film "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" se već po tome razlikuje od nabrijanih superjunačkih spektakala MCU-a, punim imenom Marvel Cinematic Universe, a za azijsku kulturu predstavlja ono što je "Black Panther" bio za afroameričku.

Režiser Destin Daniel Cretton, dosad specijaliziran za (nezavisne) drame kao što su "Privremeni dom", "Dvorac od stakla" i "Tražeći pravdu", respektira azijsku kinematografsku kulturu i "Shang-Chi" je više "Tigar i zmaj", "Heroj" i "Kuća letećih bodeža" na "marvelovski" način nego standardni Marvelov komad blockbustera, barem prve dvije (bolje) trećine filma.

Kad Wenwu (sjajni Tony Leung Chiu-wai), nositelj deset prstenova koji su mu dali snagu boga i život dug tisuću godina, upozna Jiang Li (Fala Chen), njihovo zaljubljivanje kroz vrhunaravnu borbu s kršenjem zakona gravitacije odvija se u "slow motionu" tipa "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon".

Važnost "Shang-Chija" očituje se po tome da bi mlađoj zapadnjačkoj publici mogao otkriti azijsku kinematografiju, a i što u Marvelov filmski svemir uvodi azijskog superheroja (Simu Liu) koji podučava prijateljicu Katy (Awkwafina), usput i gledatelje, kako da mu točno izgovore ime.

Shang-Chi ima upečatljivo predstavljanje i vatreno krštenje u filmu kad, na iznenađenje Katy, demonstrira da je više od nekoga tko zarađuje za život parkirajući automobile bogataša koji odsjednu u hotelu. Mjesto radnje je zglobni autobus gdje Shang-Chija napadaju razni tipovi, predvođeni mrcinom s mačetom umjesto ruke (Razor Fist u tumačenju Floriana Munteanua; "Creed II"), kako bi se dočepali zelenog privjeska na njegovu lančiću.

Ono što slijedi je stripovski spoj bus-scene ovogodišnjeg "Nobodyja" i vlak-scene "Spider-Mana 2" s daškom "Brzine", moguća lansirna akcijska rampa za Liua. Kamera izlazi iz busa i vraća se natrag u prometalo koje nekontrolirano juri nizbrdicama San Francisca dok mu stražnji dio prijeti otpasti nakon što je Razor Fist prerezao njegovu "harmoniku".

Scena je pravi "rollercoaster" blockbuster, a ako nije bolna i krvava kao u "Nobodyju", zbog PG-13 predikata i posezanja za kaskaderskim CGI-jem, približno je jednako zabavna i virtuozno koreografirana zahvaljujući nedavno preminulom Bradu Allanu ("Kick-Ass", "Kingsman", "Kingsman: Zlatni krug", "Solo: Priča iz Ratova zvijezda") kojemu je film posvećen.

Cretton i Allan su orkestrirali još jednu jednako impresivnu akcijsku scenu superherojskom fuzijom "Gasa do daske 2" (skele) i "Skyfalla" (ostakljeni neboder osvjetljen neonima), kad se borilački predstavlja Shang-Chijeva sestra Xialing u izvedbi Meng'er Zhang.

Brat i sestra iz disfunkcionalne obitelji morat će se ujediniti kako bi spriječili oca koji bi mogao uništiti svijet da vrati njihovu majku koja mu se naizgled javlja iz svijeta mrtvih. Obiteljska drama je "šekspirijanska" u filmu u kojem glavni lik ispunjava superjunački potencijal i prihvaća sudbinu, ali to podrazumijeva da se mora sukobiti s ocem kao Luke Skywalker u "Star Warsima".

Wenwu je Darth Vader "Shang-Chija", gotovo jednako kompleksan negativac i jedan od dosad najslojevitijih likova u kompletnom Marvelovom svemiru. Možda ne bi bio da ga ne utjelovljuje Leung koji izvanredno dočarava osjećaje žalovanja i gubitka kao da glumi u "Raspoloženima za ljubav", "Paklenim poslovima" ili "Grandmasteru". Leung daje dušu filmu, podcrtavajući ljudsku obiteljsku dramu priče i ubacujući emocije u vrtlog akcije koja u posljednjoj trećini postaje masivna, no vizualno prilično kaotična.

Za jedan spektakl dotad drukčiji od svega s potpisom Marvela, s nekim od najljepših scena unutar MCU-a (magična vodena mapa), "Shang-Chi" postaje tipičan superherojski blockbuster prekrcan digitalijom. Razlika je samo u tome da sada nebom lete "soul sucking" monstrumi koji prijete posisati dušu superjunacima i filmu, Marvelovim (super)herojima, tigrovima, zmajevima i letećim bodežima.

Životinjica bez lica

Utjecaj "Tigra i zmaja" očituje se i po Michelle Yeoh u sporednoj ulozi, a Leung je glumio u "Heroju". S druge strane, utjecaj "Ratova zvijezda" vidljiv je i po simpatičnoj pufastoj životinjici Morrisu", "sidekicku" Trevora Slatteryja (Ben Kingsley), koja, malo subverzije, nema lice. P.S. Ostanite svakako do kraja odjavne špice jer vas, kao i uvijek kad je Marvel u pitanju, čekaju dvije ekstra scene.

"Moje ime je Shang-Chi." – "Shang-Chi i legenda o deset prstenova" (2021.)

Baletska inscenacija borilačkih vještina u usporenom pokretu, "božanski kung fu", pokretač je glavnine akcije u hitu "Shang-Chi i legenda o deset prstenova" kao u nijednom Marvelovom superherojskom blockbusteru prije. Film "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" se već po tome razlikuje od nabrijanih superjunačkih spektakala MCU-a, punim imenom Marvel Cinematic Universe, a za azijsku kulturu predstavlja ono što je "Black Panther" bio za afroameričku.

Režiser Destin Daniel Cretton, dosad specijaliziran za (nezavisne) drame kao što su "Privremeni dom", "Dvorac od stakla" i "Tražeći pravdu", respektira azijsku kinematografsku kulturu i "Shang-Chi" je više "Tigar i zmaj", "Heroj" i "Kuća letećih bodeža" na "marvelovski" način nego standardni Marvelov komad blockbustera, barem prve dvije (bolje) trećine filma.

Kad Wenwu (sjajni Tony Leung Chiu-wai), nositelj deset prstenova koji su mu dali snagu boga i život dug tisuću godina, upozna Jiang Li (Fala Chen), njihovo zaljubljivanje kroz vrhunaravnu borbu s kršenjem zakona gravitacije odvija se u "slow motionu" tipa "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon".

Važnost "Shang-Chija" očituje se po tome da bi mlađoj zapadnjačkoj publici mogao otkriti azijsku kinematografiju, a i što u Marvelov filmski svemir uvodi azijskog superheroja (Simu Liu) koji podučava prijateljicu Katy (Awkwafina), usput i gledatelje, kako da mu točno izgovore ime.

Shang-Chi ima upečatljivo predstavljanje i vatreno krštenje u filmu kad, na iznenađenje Katy, demonstrira da je više od nekoga tko zarađuje za život parkirajući automobile bogataša koji odsjednu u hotelu. Mjesto radnje je zglobni autobus gdje Shang-Chija napadaju razni tipovi, predvođeni mrcinom s mačetom umjesto ruke (Razor Fist u tumačenju Floriana Munteanua; "Creed II"), kako bi se dočepali zelenog privjeska na njegovu lančiću.

Ono što slijedi je stripovski spoj bus-scene ovogodišnjeg "Nobodyja" i vlak-scene "Spider-Mana 2" s daškom "Brzine", moguća lansirna akcijska rampa za Liua. Kamera izlazi iz busa i vraća se natrag u prometalo koje nekontrolirano juri nizbrdicama San Francisca dok mu stražnji dio prijeti otpasti nakon što je Razor Fist prerezao njegovu "harmoniku".

Scena je pravi "rollercoaster" blockbuster, a ako nije bolna i krvava kao u "Nobodyju", zbog PG-13 predikata i posezanja za kaskaderskim CGI-jem, približno je jednako zabavna i virtuozno koreografirana zahvaljujući nedavno preminulom Bradu Allanu ("Kick-Ass", "Kingsman", "Kingsman: Zlatni krug", "Solo: Priča iz Ratova zvijezda") kojemu je film posvećen.

Cretton i Allan su orkestrirali još jednu jednako impresivnu akcijsku scenu superherojskom fuzijom "Gasa do daske 2" (skele) i "Skyfalla" (ostakljeni neboder osvjetljen neonima), kad se borilački predstavlja Shang-Chijeva sestra Xialing u izvedbi Meng'er Zhang.

Brat i sestra iz disfunkcionalne obitelji morat će se ujediniti kako bi spriječili oca koji bi mogao uništiti svijet da vrati njihovu majku koja mu se naizgled javlja iz svijeta mrtvih. Obiteljska drama je "šekspirijanska" u filmu u kojem glavni lik ispunjava superjunački potencijal i prihvaća sudbinu, ali to podrazumijeva da se mora sukobiti s ocem kao Luke Skywalker u "Star Warsima".

Wenwu je Darth Vader "Shang-Chija", gotovo jednako kompleksan negativac i jedan od dosad najslojevitijih likova u kompletnom Marvelovom svemiru. Možda ne bi bio da ga ne utjelovljuje Leung koji izvanredno dočarava osjećaje žalovanja i gubitka kao da glumi u "Raspoloženima za ljubav", "Paklenim poslovima" ili "Grandmasteru". Leung daje dušu filmu, podcrtavajući ljudsku obiteljsku dramu priče i ubacujući emocije u vrtlog akcije koja u posljednjoj trećini postaje masivna, no vizualno prilično kaotična.

Za jedan spektakl dotad drukčiji od svega s potpisom Marvela, s nekim od najljepših scena unutar MCU-a (magična vodena mapa), "Shang-Chi" postaje tipičan superherojski blockbuster prekrcan digitalijom. Razlika je samo u tome da sada nebom lete "soul sucking" monstrumi koji prijete posisati dušu superjunacima i filmu, Marvelovim (super)herojima, tigrovima, zmajevima i letećim bodežima.

Životinjica bez lica

Utjecaj "Tigra i zmaja" očituje se i po Michelle Yeoh u sporednoj ulozi, a Leung je glumio u "Heroju". S druge strane, utjecaj "Ratova zvijezda" vidljiv je i po simpatičnoj pufastoj životinjici Morrisu", "sidekicku" Trevora Slatteryja (Ben Kingsley), koja, malo subverzije, nema lice. P.S. Ostanite svakako do kraja odjavne špice jer vas, kao i uvijek kad je Marvel u pitanju, čekaju dvije ekstra scene.
