Superheroina Wonder Woman stiže za Božić na velike i male ekrane. Warner Bros je objavio vijest da megablockbuster "Wonder Woman 1984", jedan od najvećih spektakala ove godine, napokon ide u distribuciju, ali kombiniranu, tj. paralelnu. Simultano s kinodistribucijom, film će biti dostupan na streaming servisu HBO Max, koji zasad podržava samo američko tržište.

Dakle, tamo gdje su kina otvorena, od Amerike do Azije, Wonder Woman će se superjunačiti na velikim ekranima, a u SAD-u, najvećem, a najugroženijem kinotržištu, opcija za gledanje filma je i Warnerova platforma HBO Max, i to bez dodatnih troškova za pretplatnike, za razliku od naknade koju su plaćali korisnici streaming servisa Disney+ da bi gledali "Mulan".

Najavljuje se da kinodistribucija u svijetu starta 16. prosinca, a tjedan dana kasnije u američkim kinima i na HBO Maxu (kod nas zasad stoji na datumu otvaranja 24.12.). Podijeljena distribucija, podijeljeni osjećaji. Dobra vijest je da će i hrvatska publika gledati u kinu naizglednu blockbustersku poslasticu koja dolazi kao šećer na kraju gorke godine.

No, u širem kontekstu gledano, ovo baš i nisu dobre vijesti. Snimljen također u produkciji Warner Brosa, "Tenet" nije ispunio previsoka očekivanja, zaradivši "samo" 350-ak milijuna dolara u svjetskoj kinodistribuciji, što je, uzred, sasvim solidan rezultat s obzirom na okolnosti i poluzatvorena kina.

Nezadovoljni hollywoodski studiji su potom, dodatno pogurani koronom, nastavili odgađati premijere blockbustera za 2021., kombinirati distribuciju kino/streaming ("Mulan") ili davati filmove direktno na "online" platforme ("Borat 2"). "Wonder Woman 1984" je bila posljednja nada, odgođena s lipnja na listopad i kraj prosinca, a nakon što je s kraja 2020. u 2021. pobjegla i "Dina".

Kako je porast oboljelih od korone počeo rasti, u paketu s brojnim "lockdownima" gradova, očekivalo se da bi i ovaj film mogao slijediti tragove najvećih blockbustera (novi "Bond", "Top Gun 2", "Black Widow"...) i prebjeći u iduću godinu. Nažalost, Warner je na kraju posegnuo za Disneyjevom taktikom na primjeru "Mulan" (uz razliku da nema ekstra nadoplate filma) i potencijalno izazvao "game changer" reperkusije.

S "Mulan" je bila riječ o iznimki, a s "Wonder Woman 1984" postoji mogućnost da (i) paralelna distribucija blockbustera postane pravilo u budućnosti, kao i, očito sve neminovniji, skraćeni razmak između premijere filma u kinima i na streamingu. Pitanje je, međutim, kako će se nadomjestiti golema zarada koju je donosila stara dobra kinodistribucija i hoće li se ova taktika studijima odbiti o glavu.

Konkretno, prva "Wonder Woman" je 2017. zaradila preko 800 milijuna dolara u svjetskim kinima. Šansa da "Wonder Woman 1984" zaradi toliko u krnjoj kinodistribuciji i od streaminga, a uz prijetnju izvjesne piraterije, ravna je nuli. Jednom kad film osvane na HBO Max-u vrlo brzo će se proširiti na piratskim stranicama, odakle će se ilegalno skidati i gledati besplatno, u zemljama gdje zakon protiv internet piratstva nije još stupio na snagu.

Superheroina Wonder Woman stiže za Božić na velike i male ekrane. Warner Bros je objavio vijest da megablockbuster "Wonder Woman 1984", jedan od najvećih spektakala ove godine, napokon ide u distribuciju, ali kombiniranu, tj. paralelnu. Simultano s kinodistribucijom, film će biti dostupan na streaming servisu HBO Max, koji zasad podržava samo američko tržište.

Dakle, tamo gdje su kina otvorena, od Amerike do Azije, Wonder Woman će se superjunačiti na velikim ekranima, a u SAD-u, najvećem, a najugroženijem kinotržištu, opcija za gledanje filma je i Warnerova platforma HBO Max, i to bez dodatnih troškova za pretplatnike, za razliku od naknade koju su plaćali korisnici streaming servisa Disney+ da bi gledali "Mulan".

Najavljuje se da kinodistribucija u svijetu starta 16. prosinca, a tjedan dana kasnije u američkim kinima i na HBO Maxu (kod nas zasad stoji na datumu otvaranja 24.12.). Podijeljena distribucija, podijeljeni osjećaji. Dobra vijest je da će i hrvatska publika gledati u kinu naizglednu blockbustersku poslasticu koja dolazi kao šećer na kraju gorke godine.

No, u širem kontekstu gledano, ovo baš i nisu dobre vijesti. Snimljen također u produkciji Warner Brosa, "Tenet" nije ispunio previsoka očekivanja, zaradivši "samo" 350-ak milijuna dolara u svjetskoj kinodistribuciji, što je, uzred, sasvim solidan rezultat s obzirom na okolnosti i poluzatvorena kina.

Nezadovoljni hollywoodski studiji su potom, dodatno pogurani koronom, nastavili odgađati premijere blockbustera za 2021., kombinirati distribuciju kino/streaming ("Mulan") ili davati filmove direktno na "online" platforme ("Borat 2"). "Wonder Woman 1984" je bila posljednja nada, odgođena s lipnja na listopad i kraj prosinca, a nakon što je s kraja 2020. u 2021. pobjegla i "Dina".

Kako je porast oboljelih od korone počeo rasti, u paketu s brojnim "lockdownima" gradova, očekivalo se da bi i ovaj film mogao slijediti tragove najvećih blockbustera (novi "Bond", "Top Gun 2", "Black Widow"...) i prebjeći u iduću godinu. Nažalost, Warner je na kraju posegnuo za Disneyjevom taktikom na primjeru "Mulan" (uz razliku da nema ekstra nadoplate filma) i potencijalno izazvao "game changer" reperkusije.

S "Mulan" je bila riječ o iznimki, a s "Wonder Woman 1984" postoji mogućnost da (i) paralelna distribucija blockbustera postane pravilo u budućnosti, kao i, očito sve neminovniji, skraćeni razmak između premijere filma u kinima i na streamingu. Pitanje je, međutim, kako će se nadomjestiti golema zarada koju je donosila stara dobra kinodistribucija i hoće li se ova taktika studijima odbiti o glavu.

Konkretno, prva "Wonder Woman" je 2017. zaradila preko 800 milijuna dolara u svjetskim kinima. Šansa da "Wonder Woman 1984" zaradi toliko u krnjoj kinodistribuciji i od streaminga, a uz prijetnju izvjesne piraterije, ravna je nuli. Jednom kad film osvane na HBO Max-u vrlo brzo će se proširiti na piratskim stranicama, odakle će se ilegalno skidati i gledati besplatno, u zemljama gdje zakon protiv internet piratstva nije još stupio na snagu.

Superheroina Wonder Woman stiže za Božić na velike i male ekrane. Warner Bros je objavio vijest da megablockbuster "Wonder Woman 1984", jedan od najvećih spektakala ove godine, napokon ide u distribuciju, ali kombiniranu, tj. paralelnu. Simultano s kinodistribucijom, film će biti dostupan na streaming servisu HBO Max, koji zasad podržava samo američko tržište.
