Puccinijeva opera “Turandot” u režiji Ozrena Prohića vraća se u Galeriju Meštrović s dvije izvedbe u kolovozu.

”Turandot” će biti izvedena 8. i 10. kolovoza s početkom u 21 sat, prvom će ravnati mo. Ivo Lipanović, a drugom mo. Veton Marevci.

Riječ je o predstavi koja je premijeru imala 2016. godine u Galeriji, a njome su bile obilježene i važne obljetnice:

- Od milanske praizvedbe Turandot dijeli nas 90 godina, ali i 60 godina od njenih impresivnih pojavljivanja u Galeriji Meštrović, na samim festivalskim počecima Splitskoga ljeta. Pravi je čas za ponovni uzlet opere “Turandot” na mjestu gdje se isprepliću monumentalna ljepota Galerije Meštrović, sukobljeni etički principi zbog kojih su glave stalno na pladnju, ali i neustrašiva potraga za puninom ljubavi - kazao je tada redatelj.

Djelo o kineskoj princezi Turandot koja proscima zadaje zagonetke, a ovisno o odgovorima mogu izgubiti glavu ili dobiti njenu ruku, skladatelj nije uspio dovršiti prije smrti, pa je to po njegovim skicama učinio Franco Afano, kojega je za taj posao angažirao Arturo Toscanini.

Na praizvedbi 1926. godine Toscanini je dirigirao i zaključio djelo na mjestu do kojega je stigao skladatelj, a ostale izvedbe išle su s Afanovim nastavkom. U operi se inače osjeća i Wagnerov utjecaj, a za “kineske” melodije Puccinija je inspirirala jedna igračka, glazbena kutija kupljena u Kini.

Pod stepeništem Galerije je smješten orkestar, ali deset glazbenika svira i u zgradi što rezultira vrlo zanimljivom zvučnom slikom.

Grandiozna oproštajna Puccinijeva opera, “Turandot”, na mnogo načina stoji na razmeđu svjetova. Njome je Puccini zauvijek izlazio iz opernog verizma smjelo se prepuštajući novim glazbeno-scenskim izazovima, pa i novom duhu vremena, ali ostajući ustrajan u tome da njegove tragične heroine stradavaju ili trijumfiraju u sve spektakularnijem i egzotičnijem okružju.

Opera se izvodi s hrvatskim i engleskim titlovima, a uz zbor i orkestar nastupit će solisti Daniela Schillaci, Ante Ivić, Mate Akrap, Max Jota, Antonija Teskera, Jurica Jurasić Kapun, Vinko Maroević, Riccardo Palazzo i Vlatko Belas.•

Puccinijeva opera “Turandot” u režiji Ozrena Prohića vraća se u Galeriju Meštrović s dvije izvedbe u kolovozu.

”Turandot” će biti izvedena 8. i 10. kolovoza s početkom u 21 sat, prvom će ravnati mo. Ivo Lipanović, a drugom mo. Veton Marevci.

Riječ je o predstavi koja je premijeru imala 2016. godine u Galeriji, a njome su bile obilježene i važne obljetnice:

- Od milanske praizvedbe Turandot dijeli nas 90 godina, ali i 60 godina od njenih impresivnih pojavljivanja u Galeriji Meštrović, na samim festivalskim počecima Splitskoga ljeta. Pravi je čas za ponovni uzlet opere “Turandot” na mjestu gdje se isprepliću monumentalna ljepota Galerije Meštrović, sukobljeni etički principi zbog kojih su glave stalno na pladnju, ali i neustrašiva potraga za puninom ljubavi - kazao je tada redatelj.

Djelo o kineskoj princezi Turandot koja proscima zadaje zagonetke, a ovisno o odgovorima mogu izgubiti glavu ili dobiti njenu ruku, skladatelj nije uspio dovršiti prije smrti, pa je to po njegovim skicama učinio Franco Afano, kojega je za taj posao angažirao Arturo Toscanini.

Na praizvedbi 1926. godine Toscanini je dirigirao i zaključio djelo na mjestu do kojega je stigao skladatelj, a ostale izvedbe išle su s Afanovim nastavkom. U operi se inače osjeća i Wagnerov utjecaj, a za “kineske” melodije Puccinija je inspirirala jedna igračka, glazbena kutija kupljena u Kini.

Pod stepeništem Galerije je smješten orkestar, ali deset glazbenika svira i u zgradi što rezultira vrlo zanimljivom zvučnom slikom.

Grandiozna oproštajna Puccinijeva opera, “Turandot”, na mnogo načina stoji na razmeđu svjetova. Njome je Puccini zauvijek izlazio iz opernog verizma smjelo se prepuštajući novim glazbeno-scenskim izazovima, pa i novom duhu vremena, ali ostajući ustrajan u tome da njegove tragične heroine stradavaju ili trijumfiraju u sve spektakularnijem i egzotičnijem okružju.

Opera se izvodi s hrvatskim i engleskim titlovima, a uz zbor i orkestar nastupit će solisti Daniela Schillaci, Ante Ivić, Mate Akrap, Max Jota, Antonija Teskera, Jurica Jurasić Kapun, Vinko Maroević, Riccardo Palazzo i Vlatko Belas.•

Puccinijeva opera “Turandot” u režiji Ozrena Prohića vraća se u Galeriju Meštrović s dvije izvedbe u kolovozu.

”Turandot” će biti izvedena 8. i 10. kolovoza s početkom u 21 sat, prvom će ravnati mo. Ivo Lipanović, a drugom mo. Veton Marevci.

Riječ je o predstavi koja je premijeru imala 2016. godine u Galeriji, a njome su bile obilježene i važne obljetnice:

- Od milanske praizvedbe Turandot dijeli nas 90 godina, ali i 60 godina od njenih impresivnih pojavljivanja u Galeriji Meštrović, na samim festivalskim počecima Splitskoga ljeta.
