Nekoliko hrvatskih lokaliteta uključilo se u Europsku rutu “Napoleonove destinacije”, koja broji oko 60 gradova, institucija, sveučilišta, muzeja, a bavi se promoviranjem baštine iz doba Napoleona i njezinim utjecajem na današnje moderno društvo.
Čelnik i pokretač te udruge ispred Vijeća Europe je potomak francuskog cara, njegov prapranećak Charles Bonaparte. On je zapravo prapraunuk Jérômea Bonapartea, najmlađeg Napoleonova brata.
Budući da je Charlesov dolazak u Hrvatsku onemogućen zbog pandemije, ovih dana s njim je održan sastanak preko interneta na kojemu su sudjelovali i predstavnici hrvatskih gradova i općina te institucija koje su uključene u promoviranje kulturnih i turističkih destinacija.
Odnedavno su se i Brela uključila u Napoleonovu rutu, i to svojom Francuskom cestom na Biokovu, koja je iznimni graditeljski doprinos u cestogradnji s početka 19. stoljeća. Građena je od 1810. do 1811., a projektirao ju je arhitekt Frane Zavoreo.
- To je vrlo značajno za Brela, jer se radi o certificiranoj kulturnoj ruti koja će se sve više razvijati i postati prepoznatljiva. Na ovaj način dobili smo mogućnost dodatne promocije kroz kulturni turizam, vezan uz ime Napoleon, koji je jedna od najpoznatijih povijesnih osoba. Kao što je na webinaru rečeno - “Napoleon je marketing”, kaže Valentina Vitković, direktorica Turističke zajednice Brela.
CESTA KAO KULTURNO DOBRO
- Projekt smo započeli 2017. godine, kada smo s Institutom za povijest umjetnosti u Splitu napravili konzervatorsku studiju ceste i te je godine uvrstili u Registar kulturnih dobara RH. U 2018. smo uspostavili poučnu stazu “Francuska cesta” s deset poučnih tabli koje objašnjavaju način gradnje i graditelje. Godinu dana kasnije, TZO Brela je tiskao i knjigu čiji je autor dr. Josip Belamarić, koji je bio i voditelj kod izrade konzervatorske studije. Promociju smo imali u Brelima, ali i u Francuskoj alijansi u Splitu, gdje smo naišli na veliki odaziv turističkih vodiča, što mi je iznimno drago. Planirali smo ih provesti po cesti, međutim poremetila nas je korona, ali to imamo u skorom planu.

U prosincu je završen idejni projekt sanacije ceste s Filipom Bubalom, jednim od osnivača “Europske suhozidne kulturne rute”, koji je u projektu od početka. Mislim da smo napravili zaista kvalitetnu podlogu. Bitno je zaštititi cestu od daljnjeg propadanja i sanirati je kroz radionice i fondove u skladu s mogućnostima - kaže Vitković.
Francuska cesta izvanredan je spomenik suhozidnoj gradnji pa se uključila i Udruga “Dragodid”, nevladina organizacija koja ima cilj očuvanje baštine.
- Mi smo ušli u europsku asocijaciju sličnih udruga, a svako poklapanje interesa na kulturnim rutama može nam samo pomoći radi sredstava iz europskih fondova – kaže Filip Bubalo, jedan od osnivača “Dragodida”.
Osim Brela, na Napoleonovoj ruti su zasad Milna, Klis, Lošinj, Petrinja i Orebić, u kojem je prije tri godine održan susret kojemu je nazočio i Charles Bonaparte. Na Pelješcu se u doba Napoleona izgradila razgranata cestovna infrastruktura, koja i danas postoji, a iskorištena je i za gradnju moderne ceste. Napoleonov utjecaj u Hrvatskoj može se vidjeti i u Gorskom kotaru, Sisku, Karlovcu, pa sve do granice koja odvaja Novi i Stari Zagreb. Kulturni turizam na globalnoj razini čini 40 posto međunarodnih putovanja te kulturna baština kod turista čini trećinu motiva kod odabira i dolaska u turističke destinacije.---
Dr. Josip Belamarić: Napoleon zaslužuje znanstveni skup
- Francuska uprava u Dalmaciji u mnogočemu bila je napredna i reformska, no zbog niza brzopletih eksperimenata nije mogla osvojiti šire pučanstvo. Osim toga, zbog neprekidnog ratovanja dalmatinsko gospodarstvo našlo se pred kolapsom, a jadransko pomorstvo praktički je bilo uništeno. Ipak, u nizu novosti koje su naznačile perspektive modernih vremena u zapuštenoj i zaostaloj pokrajini, kakva je početkom 19. st. bila Dalmacija, gradnja prometne infrastrukture, izgrađena gotovo nepojmljivom brzinom i solidnošću, imala je istinski dalekosežni civilizacijski učinak - kaže dr. Josip Belamarić.
- Nedostaje još uvijek, začudo, zaokružena studija o svim francuskim cestama u Hrvatskoj, pa sam na jučerašnjoj konferenciji predložio da se u sklopu proslave 200. godišnjice od Napoleonove smrti upriliči znanstveni skup na tu temu. Ohrabrujuće je što su se na više mjesta javile inicijative da se “Napoleonova baština” prepozna kao pokretač kulturnog turizma.
Ako se te točke međusobno udruže pod kišobranom kulturne rute “Destination Napoleon”, imat će, siguran sam, dobre izglede da im se osigura stručna i financijska potpora. Spomenici koji govore o značaju francuske uprave, ma koliko ona bila kratkotrajna, značajan su, a itekako specifičan segment ukupne hrvatske kulturno-povijesne baštine - istaknuo je dr. Belamarić.

Nekoliko hrvatskih lokaliteta uključilo se u Europsku rutu “Napoleonove destinacije”, koja broji oko 60 gradova, institucija, sveučilišta, muzeja, a bavi se promoviranjem baštine iz doba Napoleona i njezinim utjecajem na današnje moderno društvo.
Čelnik i pokretač te udruge ispred Vijeća Europe je potomak francuskog cara, njegov prapranećak Charles Bonaparte. On je zapravo prapraunuk Jérômea Bonapartea, najmlađeg Napoleonova brata.
Budući da je Charlesov dolazak u Hrvatsku onemogućen zbog pandemije, ovih dana s njim je održan sastanak preko interneta na kojemu su sudjelovali i predstavnici hrvatskih gradova i općina te institucija koje su uključene u promoviranje kulturnih i turističkih destinacija.
Odnedavno su se i Brela uključila u Napoleonovu rutu, i to svojom Francuskom cestom na Biokovu, koja je iznimni graditeljski doprinos u cestogradnji s početka 19. stoljeća. Građena je od 1810. do 1811., a projektirao ju je arhitekt Frane Zavoreo.
- To je vrlo značajno za Brela, jer se radi o certificiranoj kulturnoj ruti koja će se sve više razvijati i postati prepoznatljiva. Na ovaj način dobili smo mogućnost dodatne promocije kroz kulturni turizam, vezan uz ime Napoleon, koji je jedna od najpoznatijih povijesnih osoba. Kao što je na webinaru rečeno - “Napoleon je marketing”, kaže Valentina Vitković, direktorica Turističke zajednice Brela.
CESTA KAO KULTURNO DOBRO
- Projekt smo započeli 2017. godine, kada smo s Institutom za povijest umjetnosti u Splitu napravili konzervatorsku studiju ceste i te je godine uvrstili u Registar kulturnih dobara RH. U 2018. smo uspostavili poučnu stazu “Francuska cesta” s deset poučnih tabli koje objašnjavaju način gradnje i graditelje. Godinu dana kasnije, TZO Brela je tiskao i knjigu čiji je autor dr. Josip Belamarić, koji je bio i voditelj kod izrade konzervatorske studije. Promociju smo imali u Brelima, ali i u Francuskoj alijansi u Splitu, gdje smo naišli na veliki odaziv turističkih vodiča, što mi je iznimno drago. Planirali smo ih provesti po cesti, međutim poremetila nas je korona, ali to imamo u skorom planu.

U prosincu je završen idejni projekt sanacije ceste s Filipom Bubalom, jednim od osnivača “Europske suhozidne kulturne rute”, koji je u projektu od početka. Mislim da smo napravili zaista kvalitetnu podlogu. Bitno je zaštititi cestu od daljnjeg propadanja i sanirati je kroz radionice i fondove u skladu s mogućnostima - kaže Vitković.
Francuska cesta izvanredan je spomenik suhozidnoj gradnji pa se uključila i Udruga “Dragodid”, nevladina organizacija koja ima cilj očuvanje baštine.
- Mi smo ušli u europsku asocijaciju sličnih udruga, a svako poklapanje interesa na kulturnim rutama može nam samo pomoći radi sredstava iz europskih fondova – kaže Filip Bubalo, jedan od osnivača “Dragodida”.
Osim Brela, na Napoleonovoj ruti su zasad Milna, Klis, Lošinj, Petrinja i Orebić, u kojem je prije tri godine održan susret kojemu je nazočio i Charles Bonaparte. Na Pelješcu se u doba Napoleona izgradila razgranata cestovna infrastruktura, koja i danas postoji, a iskorištena je i za gradnju moderne ceste. Napoleonov utjecaj u Hrvatskoj može se vidjeti i u Gorskom kotaru, Sisku, Karlovcu, pa sve do granice koja odvaja Novi i Stari Zagreb. Kulturni turizam na globalnoj razini čini 40 posto međunarodnih putovanja te kulturna baština kod turista čini trećinu motiva kod odabira i dolaska u turističke destinacije.---
Dr. Josip Belamarić: Napoleon zaslužuje znanstveni skup
- Francuska uprava u Dalmaciji u mnogočemu bila je napredna i reformska, no zbog niza brzopletih eksperimenata nije mogla osvojiti šire pučanstvo. Osim toga, zbog neprekidnog ratovanja dalmatinsko gospodarstvo našlo se pred kolapsom, a jadransko pomorstvo praktički je bilo uništeno. Ipak, u nizu novosti koje su naznačile perspektive modernih vremena u zapuštenoj i zaostaloj pokrajini, kakva je početkom 19. st. bila Dalmacija, gradnja prometne infrastrukture, izgrađena gotovo nepojmljivom brzinom i solidnošću, imala je istinski dalekosežni civilizacijski učinak - kaže dr. Josip Belamarić.
- Nedostaje još uvijek, začudo, zaokružena studija o svim francuskim cestama u Hrvatskoj, pa sam na jučerašnjoj konferenciji predložio da se u sklopu proslave 200. godišnjice od Napoleonove smrti upriliči znanstveni skup na tu temu. Ohrabrujuće je što su se na više mjesta javile inicijative da se “Napoleonova baština” prepozna kao pokretač kulturnog turizma.
Ako se te točke međusobno udruže pod kišobranom kulturne rute “Destination Napoleon”, imat će, siguran sam, dobre izglede da im se osigura stručna i financijska potpora. Spomenici koji govore o značaju francuske uprave, ma koliko ona bila kratkotrajna, značajan su, a itekako specifičan segment ukupne hrvatske kulturno-povijesne baštine - istaknuo je dr. Belamarić.
