Ovog proljeća brojnim su se vozačima planovi za zamjenu zimskih guma ljetnima poremetili zbog izvanredne situacije s pandemijom koronavirusa, pa se sezona zamjene guma pomaknula daleko u proljeće. Neki se vozači stoga sigurno pitaju bi li uopće ove godine "preobuli" svoje vozilo u ljetne gume. Goodyearovi stručnjaci odgovaraju da je to jedina ispravna odluka ako žele osigurati pouzdanu, sigurnu i štedljivu vožnju u toplijim mjesecima.

Dnevne temperature u travnju već se približavaju onima u ljetnim mjesecima, asfalt je danju već dobrano ugrijan, stoga ne bi trebalo više puno čekati sa stavljanjem ljetnih guma. Iako je izvanredna situacija mnoge vozače prisilila da još malo pričekaju sa zamjenom guma, makar to značilo do svibnja ili čak lipnja, vozilo ne smije ostati u zimskoj "obući" čitavo ljeto.

– Pri vožnji u toplijim mjesecima ljetne gume pružaju očite prednosti u usporedbi sa zimskim gumama, jer su posebno zasnovane za osiguravanje optimalne izdržljivosti tijekom ljeta. Naime, kod viših temperatura jamče bolju upravljivost i prianjanje te manju potrošnju goriva – ističe Simon Brezavšček, voditelj tehničke podrške kupcima za regiju Europa Jugoistok u Goodyearu.

Ljetne gume razlikuju se od zimskih i po vanjskoj strukturi i po kemijskome sastavu gumene smjese. Gazni sloj zimskih guma ima dodatne lamele koje osiguravaju bolje prianjanje na snijegu i ledu, a ljetne gume imaju veće i kruće blokove gaznog sloja koji se u zavojima i pri kočenju manje savijaju.

Opisani koncept ljetnih guma kod viših temperatura osigurava bolje prianjanje i upravljivost te kraći zaustavni put. Razlika u dužini zaustavnog puta između zimske i ljetne gume kod temperature iznad 15 Celzijevih stupnjeva može iznositi i do sedam metara u korist ljetne gume! To je gotovo petina zaustavnog puta suvremenog automobila od postignute brzine od 100 kilometara na sat do zaustavljanja.

Osim sigurnosnog, treba uzeti u obzir i troškovnu stranu. Uvjerenje da ćemo vožnjom na kompletu zimskih guma tijekom cijele godine uštedjeti novac pogrešno je jer će njihov vijek trajanja biti puno kraći. Kako objašnjavaju iz Goodyeara, najvažniju ulogu u tome ima sastav gumene smjese.

Zbog višeg postotka silike u gumenoj smjesi, zimske su gume znatno mekše i posljedično se bolje ponašaju na temperaturi do sedam Celzijevih stupnjeva. Vožnja po ugrijanom asfaltu uzrokuje njihovo pregrijavanje, zbog čega gume postaju tvrđe i gube svoja svojstva, istodobno se u usporedbi s ljetnim gumama na višim temperaturama puno brže troše, a neekonomične su i u pogledu potrošnje goriva.

Kod zamjene guma stručnjaci također savjetuju da vozači koji ove sezone ne odluče kupiti novi komplet guma obrate pozornost na besprijekornost guma i pravilnu dubinu profila. Dubina žljebova mora biti dovoljna jer to znatno utječe na vozne karakteristike, a prije svega na sprječavanje akvaplaninga.

Zakonski propisana minimalna dubina u većini europskih zemalja, doduše, iznosi 1,6 milimetara, ali u Goodyearu preporučuju da zbog spomenutog razloga gume zamijenite kad se dubina žljebova smanji na manje od tri milimetra.

Ovog proljeća brojnim su se vozačima planovi za zamjenu zimskih guma ljetnima poremetili zbog izvanredne situacije s pandemijom koronavirusa, pa se sezona zamjene guma pomaknula daleko u proljeće. Neki se vozači stoga sigurno pitaju bi li uopće ove godine "preobuli" svoje vozilo u ljetne gume. Goodyearovi stručnjaci odgovaraju da je to jedina ispravna odluka ako žele osigurati pouzdanu, sigurnu i štedljivu vožnju u toplijim mjesecima.

Dnevne temperature u travnju već se približavaju onima u ljetnim mjesecima, asfalt je danju već dobrano ugrijan, stoga ne bi trebalo više puno čekati sa stavljanjem ljetnih guma. Iako je izvanredna situacija mnoge vozače prisilila da još malo pričekaju sa zamjenom guma, makar to značilo do svibnja ili čak lipnja, vozilo ne smije ostati u zimskoj "obući" čitavo ljeto.

– Pri vožnji u toplijim mjesecima ljetne gume pružaju očite prednosti u usporedbi sa zimskim gumama, jer su posebno zasnovane za osiguravanje optimalne izdržljivosti tijekom ljeta. Naime, kod viših temperatura jamče bolju upravljivost i prianjanje te manju potrošnju goriva – ističe Simon Brezavšček, voditelj tehničke podrške kupcima za regiju Europa Jugoistok u Goodyearu.

Ljetne gume razlikuju se od zimskih i po vanjskoj strukturi i po kemijskome sastavu gumene smjese. Gazni sloj zimskih guma ima dodatne lamele koje osiguravaju bolje prianjanje na snijegu i ledu, a ljetne gume imaju veće i kruće blokove gaznog sloja koji se u zavojima i pri kočenju manje savijaju.

Opisani koncept ljetnih guma kod viših temperatura osigurava bolje prianjanje i upravljivost te kraći zaustavni put. Razlika u dužini zaustavnog puta između zimske i ljetne gume kod temperature iznad 15 Celzijevih stupnjeva može iznositi i do sedam metara u korist ljetne gume! To je gotovo petina zaustavnog puta suvremenog automobila od postignute brzine od 100 kilometara na sat do zaustavljanja.

Osim sigurnosnog, treba uzeti u obzir i troškovnu stranu. Uvjerenje da ćemo vožnjom na kompletu zimskih guma tijekom cijele godine uštedjeti novac pogrešno je jer će njihov vijek trajanja biti puno kraći. Kako objašnjavaju iz Goodyeara, najvažniju ulogu u tome ima sastav gumene smjese.

Zbog višeg postotka silike u gumenoj smjesi, zimske su gume znatno mekše i posljedično se bolje ponašaju na temperaturi do sedam Celzijevih stupnjeva. Vožnja po ugrijanom asfaltu uzrokuje njihovo pregrijavanje, zbog čega gume postaju tvrđe i gube svoja svojstva, istodobno se u usporedbi s ljetnim gumama na višim temperaturama puno brže troše, a neekonomične su i u pogledu potrošnje goriva.

Kod zamjene guma stručnjaci također savjetuju da vozači koji ove sezone ne odluče kupiti novi komplet guma obrate pozornost na besprijekornost guma i pravilnu dubinu profila. Dubina žljebova mora biti dovoljna jer to znatno utječe na vozne karakteristike, a prije svega na sprječavanje akvaplaninga.

Zakonski propisana minimalna dubina u većini europskih zemalja, doduše, iznosi 1,6 milimetara, ali u Goodyearu preporučuju da zbog spomenutog razloga gume zamijenite kad se dubina žljebova smanji na manje od tri milimetra.

Ovog proljeća brojnim su se vozačima planovi za zamjenu zimskih guma ljetnima poremetili zbog izvanredne situacije s pandemijom koronavirusa, pa se sezona zamjene guma pomaknula daleko u proljeće. Neki se vozači stoga sigurno pitaju bi li uopće ove godine "preobuli" svoje vozilo u ljetne gume. Goodyearovi stručnjaci odgovaraju da je to jedina ispravna odluka ako žele osigurati pouzdanu, sigurnu i štedljivu vožnju u toplijim mjesecima.

Dnevne temperature u travnju već se približavaju onima u ljetnim mjesecima, asfalt je danju već dobrano ugrijan, stoga ne bi trebalo više puno čekati sa stavljanjem ljetnih guma. Iako je izvanredna situacija mnoge vozače prisilila da još malo pričekaju sa zamjenom guma, makar to značilo do svibnja ili čak lipnja, vozilo ne smije ostati u zimskoj "o...
