Tesla je otkazao razvoj dugoobećavanog jeftinog automobila na struju, za koji su ulagači računali da će potaknuti njegovu preobrazbu u proizvođača automobila za masovno tržište, doznaje Reuters iz triju upućenih izvora.

Taj oštar zaokret dolazi u vrijeme kada se Tesla suočava sa žestokom konkurencijom kineskih proizvođača električnih vozila, koji preplavljuju tržište automobilima čija je cijena samo deset tisuća dolara.

Tesla će, kako se doznaje, nastaviti razvijati autonomni robotaksi.

Takva poslovna odluka predstavlja odustajanje od dugogodišnjeg Teslinog cilja razvoja pristupačnog električnog automobila, što je osnivač tvrtke Elon Musk često karakterizirao kao svoju osnovnu misiju.

Prema ciljevima objavljenima još 2006. godine, dobit ostvarena od prodaje luksuznih modela upotrijebila bi se za financiranje niskobudžetnog obiteljskog električnog automobila.

Musk je od tada više puta obećao takvo vozilo investitorima i potrošačima.

Još u siječnju ove godine Musk je poručio ulagačima da Tesla u drugoj polovici 2025. godine planira pokrenuti proizvodnju pristupačnog modela.

Očekivalo se da početna cijena sada već nepostojećeg osnovnog vozila, Modela 2, iznositi oko 25.000 dolara.

Trenutačni najjeftiniji Teslin model, Model 3 sedan, prodaje se u SAD-u za oko 39.000 dolara.

Musk tvrdi da Reuters „laže“

Tesla nije odgovorio na zahtjeve za komentar. Nakon što je priča objavljena, Musk je na društvenoj mreži X objavio da "Reuters opet laže", ali nije naveo na što se to točno odnosi.

Nakon Reutersove vijesti dionice Tesle pale su više od šest posto, ali su povratile dio gubitka nakon Muskove objave.

Otkazivanje projekta pristupačnih automobila dolazi u trenutku kada su Tesla i drugi etablirani proizvođači automobila uzdrmani usporavanjem rasta potražnje za električnim vozilima u Sjedinjenim Državama i Europi te oštrom konkurencijom u Kini.

Da je Tesla nastavio s razvojem jeftinog automobila, prema procjeni tvrtke on ne bi stigao na tržište prije druge polovice 2025. godine, ali ta tržišna niša već je dobrano ispunjena kvalitetnim modelima BYD-a i mnogih drugih kineskih marki.

Analitičari ocjenjuju da Tesla kasni djelomično zbog ključne Muskove odluke iz 2020. godine, nakon što je lansirao svoj hit crossover, Model Y, da se usredotoči na vrlo eksperimentalni Cybertruck umjesto na pristupačan automobil.

Musk je, naime, 2019. predstavio prototip električnog kamiona i predvidio početnu cijenu od oko 40.000 dolara. Vozilo je konačno stiglo prošle godine, ali verzija kamiona s najnižom cijenom neće biti dostupna do 2025., po cijeni od oko 61.000 dolara.

Tesla je otkazao razvoj dugoobećavanog jeftinog automobila na struju, za koji su ulagači računali da će potaknuti njegovu preobrazbu u proizvođača automobila za masovno tržište, doznaje Reuters iz triju upućenih izvora.

Taj oštar zaokret dolazi u vrijeme kada se Tesla suočava sa žestokom konkurencijom kineskih proizvođača električnih vozila, koji preplavljuju tržište automobilima čija je cijena samo deset tisuća dolara.

Tesla će, kako se doznaje, nastaviti razvijati autonomni robotaksi.

Takva poslovna odluka predstavlja odustajanje od dugogodišnjeg Teslinog cilja razvoja pristupačnog električnog automobila, što je osnivač tvrtke Elon Musk često karakterizirao kao svoju osnovnu misiju.

Prema ciljevima objavljenima još 2006. godine, dobit ostvarena od prodaje luksuznih modela upotrijebila bi se za financiranje niskobudžetnog obiteljskog električnog automobila.

Musk je od tada više puta obećao takvo vozilo investitorima i potrošačima.

Još u siječnju ove godine Musk je poručio ulagačima da Tesla u drugoj polovici 2025. godine planira pokrenuti proizvodnju pristupačnog modela.

Očekivalo se da početna cijena sada već nepostojećeg osnovnog vozila, Modela 2, iznositi oko 25.000 dolara.

Trenutačni najjeftiniji Teslin model, Model 3 sedan, prodaje se u SAD-u za oko 39.000 dolara.

Musk tvrdi da Reuters „laže“

Tesla nije odgovorio na zahtjeve za komentar. Nakon što je priča objavljena, Musk je na društvenoj mreži X objavio da "Reuters opet laže", ali nije naveo na što se to točno odnosi.

Nakon Reutersove vijesti dionice Tesle pale su više od šest posto, ali su povratile dio gubitka nakon Muskove objave.

Otkazivanje projekta pristupačnih automobila dolazi u trenutku kada su Tesla i drugi etablirani proizvođači automobila uzdrmani usporavanjem rasta potražnje za električnim vozilima u Sjedinjenim Državama i Europi te oštrom konkurencijom u Kini.

Da je Tesla nastavio s razvojem jeftinog automobila, prema procjeni tvrtke on ne bi stigao na tržište prije druge polovice 2025. godine, ali ta tržišna niša već je dobrano ispunjena kvalitetnim modelima BYD-a i mnogih drugih kineskih marki.

Tesla prekida razvoj jeftinog električnog automobila, fokus se baca na - robotaksije!

Tesla je otkazao razvoj dugoobećavanog jeftinog automobila na struju, za koji su ulagači računali da će potaknuti njegovu preobrazbu u proizvođača automobila za masovno tržište, doznaje Reuters iz triju upućenih izvora.

Taj oštar zaokret dolazi u vrijeme kada se Tesla suočava sa žestokom konkurencijom kineskih proizvođača električnih vozila, koji preplavljuju tržište automobilima čija je cijena samo deset tisuća dolara.

Tesla će, kako se doznaje, nastaviti razvijati autonomni robotaksi.

Takva poslovna odluka predstavlja odustajanje od dugogodišnjeg Teslinog cilja razvoja pristupačnog električnog automobila, što je osnivač tvrtke Elon Musk često karakterizirao kao svoju osnovnu misiju.

Prema ciljevima objavljenima još 2006. godine, dobit ostvarena od prodaje luksuznih modela upotrijebila bi se za financiranje niskobudžetnog obiteljskog električnog automobila.

Musk je od tada više puta obećao takvo vozilo investitorima i potrošačima.

Još u siječnju ove godine Musk je poručio ulagačima da Tesla u drugoj polovici 2025. godine planira pokrenuti proizvodnju pristupačnog modela.

Očekivalo se da početna cijena sada već nepostojećeg osnovnog vozila, Modela 2, iznositi oko 25.000 dolara.

Trenutačni najjeftiniji Teslin model, Model 3 sedan, prodaje se u SAD-u za oko 39.000 dolara.

Musk tvrdi da Reuters „laže“

Tesla nije odgovorio na zahtjeve za komentar. Nakon što je priča objavljena, Musk je na društvenoj mreži X objavio da "Reuters opet laže", ali nije naveo na što se to točno odnosi.

Nakon Reutersove vijesti dionice Tesle pale su više od šest posto, ali su povratile dio gubitka nakon Muskove objave.

Otkazivanje projekta pristupačnih automobila dolazi u trenutku kada su Tesla i drugi etablirani proizvođači automobila uzdrmani usporavanjem rasta potražnje za električnim vozilima u Sjedinjenim Državama i Europi te oštrom konkurencijom u Kini.

Da je Tesla nastavio s razvojem jeftinog automobila, prema procjeni tvrtke on ne bi stigao na tržište prije druge polovice 2025. godine, ali ta tržišna niša već je dobrano ispunjena kvalitetnim modelima BYD-a i mnogih drugih kineskih marki.
