Maslinovo ulje je zdravo, a njegov poseban okus obogaćuje mnoga jela. No, neke boce maslinovog ulja na policama trgovina nisu "ni talijanska ni ekstra djevičanska".
Neka maslinova ulja miješaju se s jeftinijim varijantama ili se pripremaju s niskim prinosom, što otežava utvrđivanje njegove čistoće. Ipak, postoje neki jednostavni trikovi zahvaljujući kojima možete provjeriti kvalitetu maslinova ulja koje koristite.
Maslinovo ulje dobiva se iz svježih maslina, koje se rafiniraju, a zbog visokog antioksidativnog sastava smatra se jednim od najzdravijih ulja. No, ponekad se u proizvodnji miješa s nekim jefitnijim uljima kako bi se smanjili troškovi.
N1 otkriva kako je moguće provjeriti čistoću kupljenog maslinova ulja.
Provjerite naljepnice
Čak i ako na naljepnici piše da je riječ o ekstra djevičanskom maslinovom ulju, ne mora značiti da je riječ o najčišćem proizvodu. Pri kupovini uvijek treba provjeriti certifikat i pripaziti da sastojci ne ukazuju na miješanje drugih ulja ili aditiva.
Provjerite datume
Na boci trebaju biti navedeni datumi berbe ili proizvodnje ulja.
Test s hlađenjem
U čistu staklenu posudu ulijte nekoliko žlica ulja i zatvorite je poklopcem. Posudu stavite u hladnjak na jedan dan ili preko noći. Ako se ulje stvrdne, u pitanju je mononezasićeno čisto maslinovo ulje. Ako je u pitanju nečisto ili lažno maslinovo ulje, ono neće promijeniti svoju teksturu.
Test sa zagrijavanjem
Fitilj umočite u maslinovo ulje i stavite ga u staklenu posudu pa ga zapalite. Ako fitilj gori neko vrijeme, imate pravo maslinovo ulje. Paljenje fitilja ne bi smjelo proizvoditi nikakve pare ako je riječ o pravom maslinovom ulju.
Slobodne masne kiseline
Maslinovo ulje vrhunske kvalitete sadrži slobodne masne kiseline. Pri kupnji uvijek pogledajte koliki je njihov postotak. Ako udio iznosi 0,2 ili manje, to ukazuje da je riječ o ulju izvrsne kvalitete, prenosi N1.

Maslinovo ulje je zdravo, a njegov poseban okus obogaćuje mnoga jela. No, neke boce maslinovog ulja na policama trgovina nisu "ni talijanska ni ekstra djevičanska".
Neka maslinova ulja miješaju se s jeftinijim varijantama ili se pripremaju s niskim prinosom, što otežava utvrđivanje njegove čistoće. Ipak, postoje neki jednostavni trikovi zahvaljujući kojima možete provjeriti kvalitetu maslinova ulja koje koristite.
Maslinovo ulje dobiva se iz svježih maslina, koje se rafiniraju, a zbog visokog antioksidativnog sastava smatra se jednim od najzdravijih ulja. No, ponekad se u proizvodnji miješa s nekim jefitnijim uljima kako bi se smanjili troškovi.

Provjerite naljepnice
Čak i ako na naljepnici piše da je riječ o ekstra djevičanskom maslinovom ulju, ne mora značiti da je riječ o najčišćem proizvodu. Pri kupovini uvijek treba provjeriti certifikat i pripaziti da sastojci ne ukazuju na miješanje drugih ulja ili aditiva.
Provjerite datume
Na boci trebaju biti navedeni datumi berbe ili proizvodnje ulja.
Test s hlađenjem
U čistu staklenu posudu ulijte nekoliko žlica ulja i zatvorite je poklopcem. Posudu stavite u hladnjak na jedan dan ili preko noći. Ako se ulje stvrdne, u pitanju je mononezasićeno čisto maslinovo ulje. Ako je u pitanju nečisto ili lažno maslinovo ulje, ono neće promijeniti svoju teksturu.
Test sa zagrijavanjem
Fitilj umočite u maslinovo ulje i stavite ga u staklenu posudu pa ga zapalite. Ako fitilj gori neko vrijeme, imate pravo maslinovo ulje. Paljenje fitilja ne bi smjelo proizvoditi nikakve pare ako je riječ o pravom maslinovom ulju.
