Izgleda kako je i Nizozemcima stigla "voda do grla", piše Deutsche Welle.

Ovo nije prvi znak zabrane kojim glavni grad Nizozemske reagira na sve veći broj party-turista. Dodatne su kazne odredili i za one koji piju alkohol na ulici kao i za one koji ne stignu na vrijeme do najbližeg javnog WC-a.

Ovog ljeta stara je gradska jezgra puna, gotovo jednako kao i prije pandemije. Amsterdam je, znaju svi, atraktivno turističko odredište. Ovo nije prvi znak zabrane kojim glavni grad Nizozemske reagira na sve veći broj party-turista. Dodatne su kazne odredili i za one koji piju alkohol na ulici kao i za one koji ne stignu na vrijeme do najbližeg javnog WC-a.

Ovog ljeta stara je gradska jezgra puna, gotovo jednako kao i prije pandemije. Amsterdam je, znaju svi, atraktivno turističko odredište. Kuće i kanali iz zlatnog doba 17. stoljeća dio su UNESCO-ove svjetske baštine. Očekuje ih 20 milijuna noćenja, no, grad je 2021. godine odlučio da ih ne smije biti više. Broj turista je samo jedan od mnogih izazova. Sve veći problem su party-turisti koji noću bučno tumaraju uskim ulicama i mostovima u centru grada.

Postoji i online kampanja pod naslovom/hashtagom "Stay Away". Kao svojevrsno sredstvo odvraćanja posebno nasilnih Britanaca. Prema istraživanju, posjetitelji s otoka neslavni su broj jedan po neumjerenom korištenju droga. Upravo takvi, žale se stanovnici stare gradske jezgre, rade sve kako bi jutrom domaćini morali čistiti svoje vanjsko stubište zbog, ovo će shvatiti naši Getani, nekontroliranih "pražnjenjenja" na tuđem pragu.

Mnogi posjetitelji u centar ne dolaze zbog prekrasnog staroga grada, nego zbog prostitucije, kafića i uličnih dilera, kako vele Nizozemci "dolaze da se napiju i doslovno razbiju". Toga je stanovnicima dosta!

Članovi inicijative stanara "Stop de Gegkte" (Zaustavite ludilo) obilaze gradske četvrt odjeveni u žute prsluke, pa upozoravali "bučne noćne ptice" kako u staroj gradskoj jezgri žive ljudi kojima je potreban noćni mir. Većina turista, kažu, reagira pristojno i ispričaju se.
