U teoriji, perilica posuđa bi se sama trebala čistiti, nažalost, to je daleko od istine. S vremenom se ostaci hrane, masnoće, deterdžent i minerali nakupe u filteru i unutarnjim stijenkama. To može dovesti do neugodnog mirisa u perilici, ali i otpad može ostaviti mrlje na posuđu. Drugim riječima, ako ne čistite perilicu, ona vam neće moći kvalitetno oprati posuđe. Ne samo to, ostaci mogu dovesti i do kvara aparata, piše Živim.
Good Housekeeping je nakon testiranja stotina perilica posuđa, deterdženata za perilice posuđa i sredstava za pranje posuđa, pronašao najbolje metode za održavanje perilice posuđa čistom i bez mirisa.
Kao i kod većine stvari, redovito održavanje olakšava posao, ali postoje neki preventivni koraci koje možete napraviti kako biste održali unutrašnjost perilice čistom. Smijete li oprati unutrašnjost perilice za posuđe izbjeljivačem?
Ne, izbjeljivač se ne preporučuje, posebice ako perilica ima unutrašnjost od nehrđajućeg čelika. Istina, neki deterdženti sadrži izbjeljivač, ali to su minimalne količine kako bi se maknule mrlje od kave i čaja sa šalica i drugog posuđa.

Kako čistiti perilicu?
Ovo je detaljan vodič kako očistiti perilicu posuđa, bilo da želite očistiti brtvu, filter ili vrata ili jednostavno obaviti svakodnevno održavanje kako biste spriječili neugodne mirise.
Uklonite hranu
Korijen većine problema s mirisom obično su ostaci hrane u perilicu. Steknite naviku da nakon svakog ciklusa pranja posuđa uklonite ostatke hrane. Izvucite donju rešetku i potražite komadiće hrane. Uklonite ih prstima ili papirnatim ručnikom kako biste spriječili smrad. Isto tako, prije slaganja u perilicu uklonite papirnatim ručnikom višak hrane s posuđa. Ako ne planirate odmah pokrenuti ciklus, brzo isperite posuđe u sudoperu kako biste spriječili neželjene mirise.
Obrišite prljavštinu
Za čišćenje vrata - odaberite vlažnu krpu ili spužvu od mikrovlakana kako biste obrisali ostatke hrane i mrlje koje su se nakupile.
Za čišćenje brtve vrata - starom četkicom za zube nježno obrišite prljavštinu. Ako nema previše prljavštine, prebrišite brtvu vlažnom krpom ili papirnatim ručnikom.
Izbjegavajte korištenje sredstva za čišćenje koja sadrže izbjeljivač ako je unutrašnjost vaše perilice posuđa od nehrđajućeg čelika.
Kako očistiti filter?
Ako filter nije čist, neće biti ni posuđe ni ostatak perilice. Filter se nalazi ispod donje ručke za prskanje, morat ćete izvući donju rešetku kako biste došli do njega. Ako niste sigurni kako ukloniti filter, provjerite uputstva za upotrebu. Sad kad ste ga uspješno pronašli, ovo je korak po korak za čišćenje:
1. Uklonite filter i isperite ga pod toplom vodom.
2. Starom (mekanom) četkicom za zube istrljajte mrežicu i plastični okvir kako biste uklonili masnoće ili čestice zaglavljene u pukotinama. Zatim ju isperite.
3. Vratite filter na mjesto.
4. Jednom mjesečno dubinski očistite perilicu posuđa, a upravo to čišćenje filtera je najvažnije.
OPREZ: Nemojte koristiti perilicu posuđa ako filter nije ispravno pričvršćen jer možete ozbiljno oštetiti stroj i možda poništiti jamstvo.
