Zatvaranje tijekom pandemije covida dovelo je do dvije fascinantne promjene u tijelima beba koje su ih možda zaštitile od bolesti i alergija, pokazalo je novo istraživanje objavljeno u časopisu Allergy.

Istraživači sa Sveučilišta Cork u Irskoj otkrili su da su djeca rođena dok je svijet bio zatvoren tijekom Covida imala izmijenjen crijevni mikrobiom - ekosustav ‘dobrih‘ i ‘loših‘ bakterija u crijevima koje pomažu u probavi, uništavaju štetne bakterije i pomažu u kontroli imunološkog sustava.

Utvrđeno je da je mikrobiom bolji kod dojenčadi, prenosi Daily mail.

Istraživači vjeruju da tzv. ‘Covid bebe‘ imaju manje od očekivanih alergijskih stanja poput alergija na hranu, u usporedbi s bebama rođenima prije pandemije. Također im je za liječenje bolesti bilo potrebno manje antibiotika.

Analiziran je 351 uzorak stolice beba rođenih u Irskoj u prva tri mjeseca pandemije, između ožujka i svibnja 2020. Ti su uzorci uspoređeni s onima beba rođenih prije pandemije.

U istraživanju su korišteni online upitnici kako bi se prikupile informacije o prehrani, kućnom okruženju i zdravlju. Uzorci stolice prikupljeni su od djece u dobi od šest, 12 i 24 mjeseca, a testiranje na alergije je provedeno kod djece stare 12 i 24 mjeseci.

Utvrđeno je da tzv. covid bebe imaju više korisnih mikroba dobivenih od majke nakon rođenja, a takvi bi mikrobi mogli djelovati kao obrana od alergija.

Ako pojedinci imaju poremećen crijevni mikrobiom, to može dovesti do razvoja alergija na hranu.

Bebe rođene tijekom pandemije imale su niže stope alergija: oko pet posto covid beba razvilo je neku vrstu alergije na hranu u dobi od godinu dana, dok je 22,8 posto beba rođenih prije pandemije imalo alergiju na hranu.

Istraživači smatraju da su majke prenijele korisne mikrobe svojim bebama tijekom trudnoće, a one su dobile još dodatne mikrobe nakon rođenja. Studija je otkrila da su bebe rođene za vrijeme karantene imale manje infekcija jer nisu bile izložene bakterijama i klicama. To je značilo da im treba i manje antibiotika, koji ubijaju dobre bakterije, a to automatski dovodi i do boljeg crijevnog mikrobioma.

Također, covid bebe su i dulje dojene, što im je pružilo dodatne prednosti.

Od covid beba, samo njih 17 posto je trebalo antibiotik do prve godine života, dok je čak 80 posto beba rođenih prije pandemije uzimalo antibiotike do godine života.

Pedijatar profesor Jonathan Hourihane kaže da ova studija nudi novu perspektivu o utjecaju društvene izolacije u ranom životu na crijevni mikrobiom.

Istraživači planiraju ponovno testirati djecu kada navrše pet godina kako bi vidjeli postoje li dugoročni učinci ranih promjena u crijevnom mikrobiomu, piše Daily mail.

Istraživači sa Sveučilišta Cork u Irskoj otkrili su da su djeca rođena dok je svijet bio zatvoren tijekom Covida imala izmijenjen crijevni mikrobiom - ekosustav ‘dobrih‘ i ‘loših‘ bakterija u crijevima koje pomažu u probavi, uništavaju štetne bakterije i pomažu u kontroli imunološkog sustava.

Utvrđeno je da je mikrobiom bolji kod dojenčadi, prenosi Daily mail.

Istraživači vjeruju da tzv. ‘Covid bebe‘ imaju manje od očekivanih alergijskih stanja poput alergija na hranu, u usporedbi s bebama rođenima prije pandemije. Također im je za liječenje bolesti bilo potrebno manje antibiotika.

Analiziran je 351 uzorak stolice beba rođenih u Irskoj u prva tri mjeseca pandemije, između ožujka i svibnja 2020. Ti su uzorci uspoređeni s onima beba rođenih prije pandemije.

U istraživanju su korišteni online upitnici kako bi se prikupile informacije o prehrani, kućnom okruženju i zdravlju. Uzorci stolice prikupljeni su od djece u dobi od šest, 12 i 24 mjeseca, a testiranje na alergije je provedeno kod djece stare 12 i 24 mjeseci.

Utvrđeno je da tzv. covid bebe imaju više korisnih mikroba dobivenih od majke nakon rođenja, a takvi bi mikrobi mogli djelovati kao obrana od alergija.

Ako pojedinci imaju poremećen crijevni mikrobiom, to može dovesti do razvoja alergija na hranu.

Bebe rođene tijekom pandemije imale su niže stope alergija: oko pet posto covid beba razvilo je neku vrstu alergije na hranu u dobi od godinu dana, dok je 22,8 posto beba rođenih prije pandemije imalo alergiju na hranu.

Istraživači smatraju da su majke prenijele korisne mikrobe svojim bebama tijekom trudnoće, a one su dobile još dodatne mikrobe nakon rođenja. Studija je otkrila da su bebe rođene za vrijeme karantene imale manje infekcija jer nisu bile izložene bakterijama i klicama. To je značilo da im treba i manje antibiotika, koji ubijaju dobre bakterije, a to automatski dovodi i do boljeg crijevnog mikrobioma.

Također, covid bebe su i dulje dojene, što im je pružilo dodatne prednosti.

Od covid beba, samo njih 17 posto je trebalo antibiotik do prve godine života, dok je čak 80 posto beba rođenih prije pandemije uzimalo antibiotike do godine života.

Pedijatar profesor Jonathan Hourihane kaže da ova studija nudi novu perspektivu o utjecaju društvene izolacije u ranom životu na crijevni mikrobiom.

Istraživači planiraju ponovno testirati djecu kada navrše pet godina kako bi vidjeli postoje li dugoročni učinci ranih promjena u crijevnom mikrobiomu, piše Daily mail.
