Dodaje da mnogi ljudi također sudjeluju u više aktivnosti na otvorenom i mogu biti općenito aktivniji, što također može pridonijeti zdravstvenim problemima u ljetnim mjesecima. Iako je fizička aktivnost poželjna, može dovesti do oteknutih stopala i opeklina od sunca.

Dr. Robinson navodi da tijekom ljetnih mjeseci trebate paziti na četiri česta zdravstvena problema.

Bolesti koje se prenose hranom

Sigurno su vas roditelji upozoravali da pazite što jedete tijekom ljeta, odnosno da obratite pozornost na mliječne proizvode, jaja i meso. Zapravo u pravu su, trebate misliti o hrani tijekom ljeta.

Hrana koja je obično ohlađena, sirovina ili djelomično kuhana, poput mesa, voća, povrća, jaja i mliječnih proizvoda, podložna je brzom rastu bakterija kada je izložena toplini i vlazi. Dr. Robinson naglašava da upravo u tim uvjetima dolazi do bolesti koje se prenose hranom, kao što je salmonela.

S obzirom na to da ljeti vjerojatno češće roštiljate i jedete na visokim temperaturama, pobrinite se da hrana ne bude dugo van hladnjaka. Kako? Držite prijenosni hladnjak pri ruci i spremite ostatke hrane unutar jednog sata od posluživanja.

Prema podacima WHO-a salmonela je odgovorna za smrt 52.000 ljudi godišnje, mahom djece mlađe od pet godina i starih ljudi. Ipak, bolest kod ljudi može izazvati samo velika količina salmonele, koja obično iznosi i nekoliko milijuna bakterija.

Krvarenje iz nosa

Ne znamo je li vam se ikad dogodilo da vam tijekom vrućina počne curiti krv iz nosa? Zapravo, ništa neobično, krvarenja iz nosa su vrlo česta tijekom visokih temperatura.

- Također može doći do povećanja alergena iz okoliša ili zagađivača tijekom ljeta. Ove promjene u okolišu mogu iritirati sluznicu vašeg nosa - dodaje dr. Robinson.

Kako biste spriječili krvarenje iz nosa, ona preporučuje korištenje fiziološke otopine u spreju dva puta na dan kako bi nosni prolazi bili vlažni.

Već smo nekako prihvatili da zimu možemo provesti napola zdravi pa nam ispucale usne, prehlada i glavobolja nisu ništa novo. Međutim, kad sunce dođe, kao da zaboravimo da možemo biti bolesni. Jedino se fokusiramo na dovoljan unos vode i nanošenje kreme sa SPF faktorom, piše Živim.

Dodaje da mnogi ljudi također sudjeluju u više aktivnosti na otvorenom i mogu biti općenito aktivniji, što također može pridonijeti zdravstvenim problemima u ljetnim mjesecima. Iako je fizička aktivnost poželjna, može dovesti do oteknutih stopala i opeklina od sunca.

Dr. Robinson navodi da tijekom ljetnih mjeseci trebate paziti na četiri česta zdravstvena problema.

- Važno je slušati svoje tijelo. Ako imate novi simptom koji vas zabrinjava, svakako razgovarajte o tome sa svojim liječnikom - navela je.

Bolesti koje se prenose hranom

Sigurno su vas roditelji upozoravali da pazite što jedete tijekom ljeta, odnosno da obratite pozornost na mliječne proizvode, jaja i meso. Zapravo u pravu su, trebate misliti o hrani tijekom ljeta.

Hrana koja je obično ohlađena, sirovina ili djelomično kuhana, poput mesa, voća, povrća, jaja i mliječnih proizvoda, podložna je brzom rastu bakterija kada je izložena toplini i vlazi. Dr. Robinson naglašava da upravo u tim uvjetima dolazi do bolesti koje se prenose hranom, kao što je salmonela.

S obzirom na to da ljeti vjerojatno češće roštiljate i jedete na visokim temperaturama, pobrinite se da hrana ne bude dugo van hladnjaka. Kako? Držite prijenosni hladnjak pri ruci i spremite ostatke hrane unutar jednog sata od posluživanja.

Prema podacima WHO-a salmonela je odgovorna za smrt 52.000 ljudi godišnje, mahom djece mlađe od pet godina i starih ljudi. Ipak, bolest kod ljudi može izazvati samo velika količina salmonele, koja obično iznosi i nekoliko milijuna bakterija.

Krvarenje iz nosa

Ne znamo je li vam se ikad dogodilo da vam tijekom vrućina počne curiti krv iz nosa? Zapravo, ništa neobično, krvarenja iz nosa su vrlo česta tijekom visokih temperatura.

- Također može doći do povećanja alergena iz okoliša ili zagađivača tijekom ljeta. Ove promjene u okolišu mogu iritirati sluznicu vašeg nosa - dodaje dr. Robinson.

Kako biste spriječili krvarenje iz nosa, ona preporučuje korištenje fiziološke otopine u spreju dva puta na dan kako bi nosni prolazi bili vlažni.

Isto tako, ima još jedan važan savjet.

- Većina ljudi misli da biste trebali nagnuti glavu natrag da biste zaustavili krvarenje iz nosa. Zapravo je najbolje sjediti uspravno, ali nagnuti glavu prema naprijed. To sprječava da krv ode niz dišne puteve ili u želudac - kaže dr. Robinson.

Već smo nekako prihvatili da zimu možemo provesti napola zdravi pa nam ispucale usne, prehlada i glavobolja nisu ništa novo. Međutim, kad sunce dođe, kao da zaboravimo da možemo biti bolesni. Jedino se fokusiramo na dovoljan unos vode i nanošenje kreme sa SPF faktorom, piše Živim.

Dodaje da mnogi ljudi također sudjeluju u više aktivnosti na otvorenom i mogu biti općenito aktivniji, što također može pridonijeti zdravstvenim problemima u ljetnim mjesecima. Iako je fizička aktivnost poželjna, može dovesti do oteknutih stopala i opeklina od sunca.
