Ivana Trump (73), poduzetnica i prva supruga Donalda Trumpa, umrla nakon što je pala niz stepenice, a medicinski stručnjaci smatraju da je uzrok tome srčani zastoj. Ivanu je pronašao njezin zaposlenik nakon što je pristigao u kuću na Manhattanu. Umrla je noć prije nego što je trebala ići na odmor na Azurnu obalu u St. Tropez, rekla je njezina najbolja prijateljica, piše Živim.

Iako se još uvijek čeka službena potvrda uzroka smrti, sve upućuje na srčani zastoj. To se događa kad srce iznenada prestane pumpati krv. Osoba tada gubi svijest, disanje je nepravilno, a može se i posve prekinuti te pacijent može biti bez ikakve reakcije, odnosno ne davati znakove života.

- Čest uzrok srčanog zastoja je po život opasan abnormalni srčani ritam koji se naziva ventrikularna fibrilacija (VF) - navode iz Britanske fondacije za srce.

To je poremećaj kod kojeg električna aktivnost srca postane toliko kaotična da srce iznenada prestane pumpati krv i počne vibrirati. Ventrikularnu fibrilaciju mogu uzrokovati koronarna srčana bolest, srčani udar, kardiomiopatija, urođene srčane bolesti, bolest srčanog zaliska i akutni miokarditis. Srčani udar može povećati rizik za srčani zastoj, ali u većini slučajeva ne vodi direktno do njega.

No, svakako je važno naglasiti da srčani udar i srčani zastoj nije isto. Naime, srčani udar se događa kad se začepi jedna od koronarnih arterija. Tada je srčani mišić lišen krvi i kisika koji ona doprema, a to, ako se ne liječi odmah, može dovesti do toga da srčani mišić polako počne umirati. Dok je srčani zastoj iznenadni prestanak pumpanja krvi.

Koji su uzroci srčanog zastoja?

U većini slučajeva uzrok je abnormalan ritam rada srca koji se naziva ventrikularna fibrilacija. To je poremećaj kod kojeg električna aktivnost srca postane toliko kaotična da srce iznenada prestane pumpati krv i počne vibrirati. Ventrikularnu fibrilaciju mogu uzrokovati koronarna srčana bolest, srčani udar, kardiomiopatija, urođene srčane bolesti, bolest srčanog zaliska i akutni miokarditis. Srčani udar može povećati rizik za srčani zastoj, ali u većini slučajeva ne vodi direktno do njega.

Srčani zastoj se ne događa samo starim ljudima. Nepušenje, fizička aktivnost i zdrava prehrana smanjuju rizik za srčane bolesti, no ne možete ignorirati gene, kolesterol i krvni tlak. Neke osobe mogu naslijediti sklonost srčanim bolestima ili srčanu bolest.

Je li srčani zastoj uvijek smrtonosan?

Srčani zastoj ne mora biti smrtonosan, ali neophodno je što prije zatražiti liječniku pomoć. Ventrikularna fibrilacija može se ispraviti tako što se srce „šokira” defibrilatorom kojim raspolažu kola hitne pomoći.

Kad se dogodi srčani zastoj, ne smije se gubiti vrijeme jer je riječ o stanju opasnom po život te je nužno odmah pozvati hitnu pomoć. U iščekivanju dolaska hitne pomoći, obavljanje reanimacije može pomoći da se osobu održi na životu.

Reanimacija se obavlja tako da se rade pritisci na srce (srce se tjera na rad izvana kako bi se održala cirkulacija dok ne dođe hitna pomoć). Zatim se obavlja umjetno disanje, odnosno disanje usta na usta kako bi se upuhao zrak u pluća.

Kako prepoznati simptome srčanog zastoja?

Simptomi po kojima možete raspoznati srčani zastoj su:

- nelagoda u prsima

- kratkoća daha

- neobjašnjivo hripanje

- slabost

- ubrzano kucanje, treperenje ili lupanje srca (palpitacije)

- nesvjestica

Jedno američko istraživanje je pokazalo da je polovica pacijenta (35-65 godina) doživjela znakove upozorenja prije i to su bili bolovi u prsima i nedostatak daha, što je počelo tjednima prije srčanog zastoja.

Simptomi srčanog udara mogu uključivati:

- bol u prsima: osjećaj pritiska, težinu, stezanje u prsima

- bol u drugim dijelovima tijela: može se činiti kao da se bol širi iz prsa u ruke (obično je zahvaćena lijeva ruka, no mogu biti i obje), vilicu, vrat, leđa i trbuh

- osjećaj omaglice ili vrtoglavice

- znojenje

- kratak dah, otežano disanje

- mučnina ili povraćanje

- snažan osjećaj tjeskobe (nalik na napadaj panike)

- kašljanje ili kihanje

- iako je bol u prsima često jaka, neki ljudi mogu osjetiti samo blagu bol

Najčešći simptom srčanog udara kod muškarca i kod žena je bol u prsima, no žene češće osjećaju i druge simptome, poput kratkog daha, mučnine ili povraćanja i boli u čeljusti ili leđima, piše Živim.

Ivana Trump (73), poduzetnica i prva supruga Donalda Trumpa, umrla nakon što je pala niz stepenice, a medicinski stručnjaci smatraju da je uzrok tome srčani zastoj. Ivanu je pronašao njezin zaposlenik nakon što je pristigao u kuću na Manhattanu. Umrla je noć prije nego što je trebala ići na odmor na Azurnu obalu u St. Tropez, rekla je njezina najbolja prijateljica, piše Živim.

Iako se još uvijek čeka službena potvrda uzroka smrti, sve upućuje na srčani zastoj. To se događa kad srce iznenada prestane pumpati krv. Osoba tada gubi svijest, disanje je nepravilno, a može se i posve prekinuti te pacijent može biti bez ikakve reakcije, odnosno ne davati znakove života.

- Čest uzrok srčanog zastoja je po život opasan abnormalni srčani ritam koji se naziva ventrikularna fibrilacija (VF) - navode iz Britanske fondacije za srce.

To je poremećaj kod kojeg električna aktivnost srca postane toliko kaotična da srce iznenada prestane pumpati krv i počne vibrirati. Ventrikularnu fibrilaciju mogu uzrokovati koronarna srčana bolest, srčani udar, kardiomiopatija, urođene srčane bolesti, bolest srčanog zaliska i akutni miokarditis. Srčani udar može povećati rizik za srčani zastoj, ali u većini slučajeva ne vodi direktno do njega.

No, svakako je važno naglasiti da srčani udar i srčani zastoj nije isto. Naime, srčani udar se događa kad se začepi jedna od koronarnih arterija. Tada je srčani mišić lišen krvi i kisika koji ona doprema, a to, ako se ne liječi odmah, može dovesti do toga da srčani mišić polako počne umirati. Dok je srčani zastoj iznenadni prestanak pumpanja krvi.

Koji su uzroci srčanog zastoja?

U većini slučajeva uzrok je abnormalan ritam rada srca koji se naziva ventrikularna fibrilacija. To je poremećaj kod kojeg električna aktivnost srca postane toliko kaotična da srce iznenada prestane pumpati krv i počne vibrirati. Ventrikularnu fibrilaciju mogu uzrokovati koronarna srčana bolest, srčani udar, kardiomiopatija, urođene srčane bolesti, bolest srčanog zaliska i akutni miokarditis. Srčani udar može povećati rizik za srčani zastoj, ali u većini slučajeva ne vodi direktno do njega.

Srčani zastoj se ne događa samo starim ljudima. Nepušenje, fizička aktivnost i zdrava prehrana smanjuju rizik za srčane bolesti, no ne možete ignorirati gene, kolesterol i krvni tlak. Neke osobe mogu naslijediti sklonost srčanim bolestima ili srčanu bolest.

Je li srčani zastoj uvijek smrtonosan?

Srčani zastoj ne mora biti smrtonosan, ali neophodno je što prije zatražiti liječniku pomoć. Ventrikularna fibrilacija može se ispraviti tako što se srce „šokira” defibrilatorom kojim raspolažu kola hitne pomoći.

Kad se dogodi srčani zastoj, ne smije se gubiti vrijeme jer je riječ o stanju opasnom po život te je nužno odmah pozvati hitnu pomoć. U iščekivanju dolaska hitne pomoći, obavljanje reanimacije može pomoći da se osobu održi na životu.

Reanimacija se obavlja tako da se rade pritisci na srce (srce se tjera na rad izvana kako bi se održala cirkulacija dok ne dođe hitna pomoć). Zatim se obavlja umjetno disanje, odnosno disanje usta na usta kako bi se upuhao zrak u pluća.

Kako prepoznati simptome srčanog zastoja?

Simptomi po kojima možete raspoznati srčani zastoj su:

- nelagoda u prsima

- kratkoća daha

- neobjašnjivo hripanje

- slabost

- ubrzano kucanje, treperenje ili lupanje srca (palpitacije)

- nesvjestica

Jedno američko istraživanje je pokazalo da je polovica pacijenta (35-65 godina) doživjela znakove upozorenja prije i to su bili bolovi u prsima i nedostatak daha, što je počelo tjednima prije srčanog zastoja.

Simptomi srčanog udara mogu uključivati:

- bol u prsima: osjećaj pritiska, težinu, stezanje u prsima

- bol u drugim dijelovima tijela: može se činiti kao da se bol širi iz prsa u ruke (obično je zahvaćena lijeva ruka, no mogu biti i obje), vilicu, vrat, leđa i trbuh

- osjećaj omaglice ili vrtoglavice

- znojenje

- kratak dah, otežano disanje

- mučnina ili povraćanje

- snažan osjećaj tjeskobe (nalik na napadaj panike)

- kašljanje ili kihanje

- iako je bol u prsima često jaka, neki ljudi mogu osjetiti samo blagu bol

Najčešći simptom srčanog udara kod muškarca i kod žena je bol u prsima, no žene češće osjećaju i druge simptome, poput kratkog daha, mučnine ili povraćanja i boli u čeljusti ili leđima, piše Živim.
